  • JTC

So like that train, they put a bullet in their own damn selves so we don’t have to?

I like it. But I’ll stand ready just in case they try to get me on board.

    • Pamela

      Have Gun. Will Travel.

      • kadaka

Except to New Jersey. Or NYC. Or DC. Heck, you couldn’t travel with a gun to anywhere it’ll do the most good. Why don’t proggies like you?

        • JTC

          “…you couldn’t travel with a gun to anywhere…”

          Define “couldn’t”.

      • MasterDiver

Have Gun, Will NOT Travel! (Unless it is of my own free will to a destination of MY choosing!)

        Zar Belk!

      • Too Tall

        Pamela Paladin, I like it!

You need a different address than a hotel in San Francisco, however.

        • Pamela

How about working out of one of the Territorial Prisons..

      • Toxic Deplorable B Woodman

        Have Gun, Will NOT Travel.

We should offer the DNC and friends a conference at Yellowstone National Park and let the supervolcano take care of them……

Hot air on top of hot magma….

    • interventor

That’s some really nasty air pollution.

      • Bill

Given that we only have 12 years to go, at this point, what difference does it make?

    • Delilah T.

Sorry, but the Yellowstone caldera won’t erupt for another 250,000 years. Try an Indonesian volcano chain. There are plenty of nasty openings over there.
And the weather is mostly nice. 🙂 Mostly. 😉

Somebody appears to not know how politics really works.

Harris Says She’s ‘Completely Confused’ Over Smollett Charges

Democratic California Sen. Kamala Harris confessed during a Tuesday interview with Wolf Blitzer that she was “completely confused” after the charges against “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett were dropped.

“To be perfectly honest with you, Wolf, I’m completely confused. I don’t understand. I don’t know the underlying evidence. There’s a sealed document, obviously. I don’t know. I’m at a loss. I think we’re going to have to leave it up to the judgment of the prosecutor,” Harris answered. “I think we should leave it up to the judgment of the police chief and the mayor, of course, to give us some better sense of what’s going on. I don’t know.”

BTW, the “community service” Jussie did in exchange for dropped charges was two days (18 hrs) volunteering for Jesse Jackson Sr’s Rainbow PUSH Coalition, where he discussed marketing “its products” to young people, and a PBS appearance. Very tough work.

    • WayneM

Although they would rather swallow their own tongues rather than admit this, I’ll bet the prosecutors and Smollett’s lawyers cooked up this plea bargain.

Smollett “agreed to abandon” the $10,000 bail deposit? I doubt there is a process to abandon bail… but it sounds better than $10,000 fine…

Smollett just happened to do community service for no particular reason? Yeah, that happens all the time… not…

Long story short, they agree to a plea bargain for Smollett to plead no contest… the details of which get sealed (although I doubt that would stand if challenged)… and the charges are stayed…

I wonder which version of his “attack” Smollett will choose to run with going forward? His story kept changing as long as he thought he was getting away with it.

      • kadaka

“they agree to a plea bargain for Smollett to plead no contest”

That Didn’t Happen. The charges were dropped, period, his record wiped clean with a cloth, case sealed. CWB Chicago confirmed the case “…has been removed from Cook County Court Clerk records.” Legally speaking NOTHING happened, he’s in the clear like he was never charged all.

        • Pamela

So he was Hillaryed cleaned. I wonder if they are going to ask that any news coverage and blog sites be wiped clean.

        • WayneM

Here in Canada, it’s not unusual for prosecutors to drop charges as part of a plea bargain. The record of the accused is as if the charges never existed… unless the accused for not comply with the conditions (ie: fine not paid or community service not completed) in which case the charges can be reinstated.

I find the process repugnant but the justification is such plea bargains aren’t offered to anyone with a criminal record… and they’re only offered to someone who is contrite etc… Somehow

I doubt Smollett is contrite and I seem to recall he has a record.

          • Roland Deschain

He is far from contrite. I heard his non-apology and he says it was all true and he never lied. He could not be his mother’s son and lie like that. Time to check his ancestry. Maybe he is adopted.

        • WayneM

I watched one of the prosecutors interviewed. He said clearly Smollett was not exonerated, there was adequate evidence of guilt and the charges were dropped as part of a plea bargain.

Given the outrage… even Rahm Emanuel pretended to be outraged… the prosecutor has more to explain than Smollett does…

    • Bill G

Jussie Smollett was way overcharged to begin with; he never could have been convicted of that much. Gay, Black, Chicago. No chance. But I confess to surprise that it’s all been dropped.
The Federal charges over the mailed threat are still a threat to him, though.

    • Roland Deschain

I still have no idea who Smollet is.

      • JTC

Neither did anybody else until this scripted stunt.

$10K? Cheapest promo ever, and now the whole world knows who he is, what the show is, and what the price of honor, justice, and a sick decayed society is.

Beyond all of that, wouldn’t you think that blacks and gays everywhere would be looking to lynch that POS for misappropriating their cause and their culture just to further his fame? Of course not, they have used similar tactics for years. Ends, means, etc.

  • no matter how nice a socialist tells you the camp is..never get on the train…..

    • Bill G

Ayuh. You don’t want to go anywhere a leftist want to take you.

    • kadaka

They said there would be cake.

      • MasterDiver

        Bone meal cake…

        • kadaka

They said there’d be pie, everyone will get a slice of the pie.

  • Delilah T.

These people are stepping on their own cranks.

Chief of CPD Eddie Johnson is angry. Rahmbo de Mare is angry. Even the drummer is angry. (See “Cabaret” for reference.)

There is more to come on this. You know that old saying: ‘Defecatory byproducts float.’ Keep your eyes and ears open, and your ammo stored safe from prying, lying eyes.

    • kadaka

Someone noticed there was a little backlash.

Smollett Case Was Inadvertently Sealed, State Attorney Says

“It was not our decision to have the resolution made under seal,” Foxx explained. “Because of the resolution, Mr. Smollett was allowed to have his criminal record to the police report around the arrest sealed.”

Sealing the entire court record was an ACCIDENT, they always wanted people to know about the deal. Oh and this was a perfectly normal deal for people without a criminal background, like the 2007 DUI arrest where he lied to cops and gave his brother’s name. Nothing corrupt here!

  • Too Tall

The incompetence of the progtards is so great that there is a chance they would ship themselves, and only themselves, off to their own extermination camps.

Jonestown, Part Duh! (And just like their dreams for socialism) they will truly get it right this time, because they are in charge.

    • JTC

They ain’t shipping nobody nowhere, because that bullet train is never leaving the station. OTOH the case can be made that whether the point of departure is either end of the line, LA or SF, that’s a pretty good death camp right where it sits. END OF THE LINE BYTCHES!

DT says give us back our 2.5 BILLION $! They say no, it WAS yours but now it’s OURS!

They might not have to give it back, but couldn’t they at least be forced into an accounting of where it all went? Can you say graft, theft, misappropriation and lies?

      • cb

Hawaii might not complete their 20 mile train to nowhere either… 9.5 billion & counting

Our intrepid president is now facing, on one side, The Coward(R) Party and, on the other, The Criminal(D) Party. We’ll now see if he can muster enough Cowards(R) to stand erect, do their job and get the Criminals(D) behind bars.

    • Precision270

The retardicans and rinos couldn’t stand erect with a month’s supply of viagra taken all at once.

      • Punta Gorda

Some dude was reported to have drank seemingly OD levels of the liquid version of stuff a few months back. His major issue? Something wonky happened to his eyesight. If I remember correctly, it cleared up after a while.

Hold it! The Senate vote on Obviously-Confused’s Green Nude Eel was 57 NO and 43 Present, meaning 100 AGAINST that proposal. Awwww, her first proposal and it flopped after all the hooplah! Too bad. So sad.

Please view this as a Crack in the Smugmug’s hardened outer layers… because it is.

CM, you just keep right on doing what you’re doing. There is every reason to forge ahead.

    • kadaka

      “and it flopped”

Not True! She scored a complete victory.

Ocasio-Cortez Takes Credit For Not Getting Any Votes In Favor Of Her Green New Deal

Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed on Tuesday not a single Senate Democrat voted in favor of the Green New Deal because she asked them to vote “present.”

They did it because SHE told them to. Who’s in charge now, Nancy?

    • Delilah T.

Yes, SHE claimed she told the demos to vote ‘Present’, but that claim was announced after the vote was held. She’ll claim anything, including deciding what time the sun comes up, if they thinks she can get away with it.

  • interventor

Steve Bannon said that with the Mueller report behind him, Trump will go full animal on the swamp critters that attempted the palace coup. I’m picturing either Godzilla with fricking lasers, or King Kong in an Ironman suit.

  • DonS

Hey Chris, I was noticing the missing “H” in the DNC address from 2 days ago… curious enough to find the street view on G-Maps to see if it was really missing (it’s there, as viewed from Ivy St. SE). Is this an Easter egg? “Sout_”?

    • Chris Muir

nope, just cropping to fit in the name more

  • Delilah T.

It did occur to me to ask just where were these 25 or so millions going to be shipped to? A packing plant in Montana, perhaps? (I know – bad joke, but there’s a limit to my patience with the Mindless Mob.)

    • kadaka

Mexico. It’s a population swap, they sent us 30 million, we send them 30 million. They’ll take over the country and promptly decide to build a wall to keep the desperate Kalifornians from escaping south but the Mexicans don’t know that yet.

  • These creatures need to be publicly put down. And there you go.
