We, as a people, do not want to emulate the second half of that ancient Chinese proverb: “. . . and attract the attention of powerful and influential people.”
Too bad New Mexico doesn’t have a harbor with a shipload of tea to mess around with! Maybe a bunch of NM patriots could burn an 18 wheeler load of Poblano peppers at the state capitol instead?
There were scores of Armed Citizens, with their licenses and Concealed-Carry permits, walking around the NM Capitol. LEOs did not enforce the diktat of the Governess.
And I believe there were *NO* reports of gun violence all through the Demonstration…
Whenever a progressive says “we” or “ours”, it’s hard to tell if they mean all of “us” as Americans or just themselves employing the royal first person plural.
If nobody follows her order then she hasn’t any authority to give the order. By obeying the order people give her the authority. Everyone thinks that “somebody” aught to do “something”. Well, everyone IS SOMEBODY!
“Never give an order which you know will not be obeyed.”

Deplorable MAGADONIAN Mutt-PaulS
Remembering the Anniversary today, it seems that perhaps the attack accomplished the goal by loosing a bureaucratic “Safety over Freedom” Cancer that has done nothing but metastasize for 22 years.
“If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same; or
If two or more persons go in disguise on the highway, or on the premises of another, with intent to prevent or hinder his free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege so secured—
They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.”
If we had a federal government that was actually interested in its job (protecting the rights of its citizens) the governor, along with anyone on her staff that assisted in drafting or promulgating this blatantly unconstitutional executive order, would be rounded up, imprisoned, tried, and convicted under this code. If anyone were to be arrested and jailed under this ukase this could then be considered kidnapping, and the death penalty would be on the table.
If anyone here on this site honestly believes that our current SwampState will do literally ANYTHING about this, I’ve got a large bridge for sale in Brooklyn; cash only, small non-consecutive bills, please.
You could use that Section to lock up any and all ‘progressive’ politicians and most of the swamp rats they appointed to do their bidding.
All it takes is one successful conviction and the rest will finish themselves off with apoplectic fits.
Start with killary, pelousy and the *resident for conspiring to prevent citizens from enjoying their right to vote freely and fairly and have their votes counted equally.
Politicians keep coming up with new laws because they’re afraid of the old ones.
The Chief of Police, Harold Medina, has ordered his officers not to enforce her edict. Sheriff John Allen of Bernalillo County (also covered by the diktat) has ordered his deputies not to enforce it also.
I recall the primary LEOs named to enforce her edict was the State Po-lice. I Googled to see if there was a statement release from the Superintendent about it, but no luck.
“Mr. Marshall has made his ruling- – – -now let him enforce it!”

My Cherokee ancestors were the victims of that mindset, which resulted in the Trail of Tears, but it goes to show just how much effect an unpopular executive order, or even a SCOTUS decision is capable of accomplishing. Eventually, “We the People” decide how much official tyranny we are willing to tolerate! The Tree of Liberty is getting very thirsty.
The veil is lifted, and we see the ugliest side of them all in her. She is a tyrant the likes of George III and Pol Pot. She should face a legal consequence, but alas, she will not. Vote her out.
I keep reading of politicians announcing ‘this, that and the other’ rule, law, etc., isn’t ‘absolute’. To be enforced only when it benefits them. One would sincerely hope they realize 2A is absolutely ‘absolute’.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
In the “we live in interesting times” meaning.

The American Revolution is on the horizon. Red Coat tyrants beware…
That will be 3.0. Revolution 2.0 ended in 1865.

At an entry point on the border. The closest thing NM has to a port.
Upwind from Lujan’s office.
The Rio Grande flows through Albuquerque, their largest city. That might count as a “port.”
Throw a truckload of Hach Chili into the ditch instead.
You should remember that, wench….

Any time the commies break out their “feelz”, better hang on to your wallet and your guns…

I always just believe they are lying and it is opposite of what they say. Their lips were moving.
Whenever a Progressive says “we” or “ours” . . . they mean “yours” becoming “theirs.”
Hell froze over.
Ted Lieu and David Hogg both said she can’t do this.
The Commissar Grisham seems more qualified and better suited to be a governor anywhere in Old Mexico, not New Mexico.
Send her down south with the rest of the 21st century caudillos, aka cartels.
Adios muchacha …

POGO WAS RIGHT!
US Code 18 Section 241 states:
“If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same; or

What part of Shall not be infringed doesn’t she understand???
But then she’s a demorat!

When they stop you for carrying, just tell them that emergency orders of the governor are not absolute either.
Hochul, Witmer, and now Grisham. I see a pattern here which suggest nobody despots quite like a femal Democrat Governor.
Thank God for the constitutional county sheriff’s who are telling her to pound sand, and God help the ones who aren’t.
