What WILL happen is that the 5th Amendment will suddenly become sacrosanct and then extended to anyone associated, specifically hunter, and that will be the end of it.
They need to do this now, before the chance of a real majority in both Houses comes to be in the next ‘election’, it’ll be too late then…or it should be, politicians vote out of convenience, not conviction.

Every morning, I gear up, load the rifle, and go out on my front porch. I look left, I look right. If all I see are empty porches, I go back inside, put the gear away and have breakfast.
I expect that, one day, I’ll look left, look right, and see other guys looking back. That’ll be the day the world changes.

I’m sorry, I am not as optimistic as you all seem to be. There will be no revolution. There will be no dramatic change in that direction. There will be only dissolution, perhaps slowly, but probably building up slowly to a sudden break of some kind. And then, it will no long be even as it is now, much less as it was. It will be different, and it will probably be worse. At least for a time.
I’m expecting something H.Beam Piper, Arnold Toynbee, and Ayn Rand would have recognized. We’re well into the Time of Troubles that presage the fall of any Empire, and not just “domestically”. The West is falling apart, and the East is trying to rise- but it has nothing to stand upon.
Meanwhile, the South (and I don’t mean Dixie) is trying to unload its excess population on the North.
Islam is still trying to rise to hegemony- while remaining jammed in neutral in the 9th century A.D.
And Africa…is still Africa. With 90% of the population living on 15% of the land, and the 5 degree north latitude line marking the border between the predominantly Christian and Animist south and the almost entirely Islamic north. About the best thing that can be said is that everybody there hates everybody else there to Hell and back.
Put it all together, it’s a recipe for a new Dark Age.
Everyone should concentrate on taking care of themselves and their nearest and dearest. learning new “old” skills would be a good idea, too.
(Do you know how to milk a cow by hand? How good are you with a crossbow or longbow? Can you work metal in a forge? And so on. The Backwoodsman magazine might be a good one to read regularly.)
When government offers largesse, accept it with a smile and a thank you, but do not reciprocate beyond that. Do not resist, but don’t assist, either.
In short, just don’t “be there”.
And remember, you’re not “preserving” anything. Except the knowledge that will be needed by the next civilization.
It should be along in about two centuries, give or take.
He also crossed the Delaware River on Christmas, attacked, and won a major battle. That was hard core military compared to the snowflake military of today. Since AF pilots are approximately 85% white, what happens when the New Bai Den AF chief of staff, Charles Q. Brown Jr., wants that to be 43%?
