      Line them stockings up and pin ’em against the chimney wall so they can get filled with Santa’s “coal” and then help keep the fire going…

      Once you understand that progressive dogma is a secular religion (mostly about progressives worshiping themselves and their self-anointed “superior consciousness”), you understand how applicable this observation is;

      “When religion and politics travel in the same cart, the riders believe nothing can stand in their way. Their movements become headlong – faster and faster and faster. They put aside all thoughts of obstacles and forget the precipice does not show itself to the man in a blind rush until it’s too late.”

        Examples: Communism is a religion masquerading as a political system. Islam is a political system masquerading as a religion . . .

      Make sure it’s rough-cut, not finished. You want lots of nice, sharp splinters to make sure he gets the “point”!

    When queried on whether this edict would have any effect on criminals, the governor, in a rare moment of candor for a Democrat said, “uh…no.”

    So why do it?

      They are not afraid of their pampered subjects. (Unless They, themselves, get brutally mugged, broken leg, bleeding head wounds as per a very recent example) Only the people that want to be left alone and are law abiding are to be feared when the “elites” push to far and the pitchforks (now Guns) and torches come out.

    Of course our wonderful (sarc) NY Gov institutes all background checks to go through the state Police starting tomorow the 13th. Along with this will go additional fees and background checks for firearms (both modern and antique) and ammo. OF course her horrible Concealed Carry Improvement Act pretty much did what NM’s Gov did as she prohibited carry in most public venues. Lawsuits abound here in NY and the libby courts have been dragging their feet in providing any emergency relief to the legal gun owner so back to SCOTUS for us. What saddens me is many other gun owners I’ve spoken with here in NY are woefully ignorant of much of this because they watch/read only the lamestream news sources and don’t bother doing their own independent research…

    You don’t use petroleum tar; you use pine tar, which can be administered at room temperature. Amazon carries it. Of course.

      So do your local forests, and the rails to boot…provided they haven’t been deliberately torched by some ‘gorebull warming’ zealot to prove that climate change burns forests…or in accordance with the orders of the imams to ‘terrorize the infidels’

      Indeed, Pine tar was used extensively on the ships of merchants and Navies from the Bronze Age up until around 1910 or so. Now it is only used on Vessels Like the USS Constitution or HMS Warrior and the HMS Victory.

      While pine tar can be spread at about eighty degrees F, general application, particularly when used as a punishment, is to heat the pine tar mix to around 120-145 degrees, and pour or splash it on the victim, or use a stiff-bristle tar brush(which can lacerate the skin). Feathers are then dumped from a sack about twice the size of a standard pillow case, onto the person being punished.

      From a quick search, it seems the first recorded use was under King Richard the Lionhearted, who ordered it to be used on thieves caught sailing with his Crusade. Most of us are more familiar with its use on Tories in the 18th century…

      Tarring and feathering dated back to the days of the Crusades and King Richard the Lionhearted. It began to appear in New England seaports in the 1760s and was most often used by patriot mobs against loyalists.”

      Of course, there was a Saturday Educational cartoon show back in the 1970s 0r later, called ‘Liberty’s Kids, that showed the PC Version of its use, and made it seem excessively unjust and cruel…
