Does it have to be “Twisted Tea?”

  • December 31, 2020 at 1:14 am

I looked it up…there is no product called Libertea. There are two words; liber tea about some detox drink but Libertea is open. Maybe capitalize the second part: LiberTea.

In ancient Roman religion and mythology, Liber, also known as Liber Pater, was a god of viticulture and wine, fertility and freedom. He was a patron deity of Rome’s plebeians and was part of their Aventine Triad. His festival of Liberalia became associated with free speech and the rights attached to coming of age.

“America will NEVER be a socialist country” – PDT
That was a sacred promise, and I’ve wondered why he felt he had to repeat it so often, given so few Democrats admit their socialist intentions. To whom was he sending the message, and what has he known about the Coup/Mob?

    Tea time.

Atlanta and Fulton county are 98% Socialcrat. It will be interesting to see the divide and protests after the results of the 5th and then that flowing into the 6th. My first thought was holding McCollum Field. I hate being forced to pick a side.

Tea stocks? That’s a reference to China. Isn’t that obvious?

I don’t think so. Two Boston references in two panels.

Beware, 3 January, the date new members of Congress must be sworn in. Some of the left are suggesting new Republican members not be sworn in.

They have no authority to refuse to seat a duly elected Representative.

Once seated they can attempt to expel him, but not before.

    • January 1, 2021 at 3:22 pm

Oh please, please, let them do that.

DC 2021 will make Sumter look like a pub brawl.

  • December 31, 2020 at 10:44 am

Well, I am planning on going to D.C. on the 6th. Not sure what to expect. I suspect the police will be in riot gear to greet us. I also expect Antifa to show up with shock troops. I hope the numbers are so lopsided, they stay on the perimeter looking to ambush stragglers, or hit people on the way out. It will be historic. Kind of like the Alamo, or the Little Big Horn.

PLEASE wear a body-cam and post either live feed or vid ASAP? I would love to be there and you are elected as my designated rep. :O

  • December 31, 2020 at 11:06 am

However, there is a flaw in the Democrats’ plan for 3 January. The vote for a new Speaker, is held after members are sworn in. All members of the House vote on the Speake r.

Well after all I have read about Dept of Corruption (DC), the mayor, police,
anti 1st amendment, Burn,Loot,Murder, and what has happened there since our President Trump was sworn in, I do not think it is a place for me to be.
I am way too old for a brawl but my old shotgun is in favor of diversity, equality and is totally non-discriminating. So maybe it would be welcome.

74 million with almost as much voice in our governance now as our forbearers had in 1775. Ain’t saying we’re all gonna die, Mr Muir; just saying things are likely to get bumpier than an unpaved country road out in West Texas. I’ve been on more than a couple of those. At the right speed, you get a resonance between the washboard of the road and your car’s suspension. Damned near like hydroplaning with about the same degree of control. Kinda fun, actually. Like driving on ice.

This was my son’s ex, divorced her 18 mo ago due to her addiction and other issues, actually saved her from that several years ago but you can’t help them that won’t or can’t be helped. Ashley was a beautiful girl and radically conservative like her family in Iowa and she was not all bad but she was ill in several ways. She still carried my son’s (and my) last name so he was contacted by LE and asked by her family to help with arrangements. Not the way you want to end this rotten year or begin the new one, but may God have mercy on her soul and soothe the hearts and minds of her family which includes two daughters that she did not have custody of for the same reasons she very likely lost her life. RIP Ashley.

      • December 31, 2020 at 9:08 pm

I am very saddened to read that. May she rest in peace, and may her family receive comfort and remember the good that she had been able to do. Addition is horrible. She was not. RIP.

      • January 1, 2021 at 7:10 pm

Very much sorry to hear that – my (our) prayers are with you and yours. Be thankful for the good times and memories.

  • December 31, 2020 at 8:47 pm

Ashley (RIP) and Peace for you and yours.
