A complete, succinct, accurate. State of the Union in 2022.

  • January 3, 2022 at 12:09 am

All right! Right attitude to have, Zed and Sam!

  • January 3, 2022 at 12:19 am

Funniest one I saw somewhe, hopefully not here…

    Anyway a double screenshot of bullet points, one an official list of omicron symptoms;

headache, sore throat, stuffy nose, sniffles, cough…

    And the other a bottle of NyQuil with the symptoms it relieves on the label;

headache, sore throat, stuffy nose, sniffles, cough…

And the tag line, “Fixed it!”

  • January 3, 2022 at 12:23 am

Gosh the eyes on that girl; even with Chris’ uncanny ability to show emotion, concern, a little worried; just beautiful!

  • January 3, 2022 at 12:30 am

    Question for the heartless Vermonster;

Where’d you get the nice stone home and shiny Bentley, dead hubby’s hard work, his insurance payout, the fish…or Bernie?

    • January 3, 2022 at 8:45 am

The Vermonster (h/t JTC) is doing an outstanding job raising a future pole dancer with Daddy Issues who will be a lifetime Progtard. voter.

Nice “Kalli” reference, Dunno if it was intentional or not, but it’s absolutely spot on.

      Very interesting Pamela.

Though it does raise, again, the disturbing question of why PDT is still pushing for the jabs. I can’t square that circle yet.

      • January 3, 2022 at 8:49 am

The unfortunately all-too-common inability to admit he was wrong.

It’s better to admit you had bad data, and correct the error, than continue to insist that you “did the right thing”. That is the way engineering works, and the way science generally is supposed to work.

(Did you know we used the wrong figure for the specific gravity of fluorine for seventy-three years? Moissan measured it as 1.51 in 1886; Callery Chemical determined that it was actually 1.108 in 1959. There’s a phase shift at cryogenic temps that screwed everything up.)

But politicians are not engineers or scientists. They just think they are.

This probably explains why they often act more like the high priests of a cult.

The problem is that right now, the “cult” has the reins of power. And that never ends well.

There were a bunch of folks down in Guyana that found exactly that out. I knew this theme was sounding familiar.

      • January 3, 2022 at 11:24 am

That’s it, the cold does it !!!
We need more ‘gorebull warming’ to fight the fakeflu 😉

All 25 researchers were fully vaccinated and one had a booster shot. Before leaving for the station, they underwent a PCR test in Belgium two hours before flying to South Africa…In South Africa, they quarantined for 10 days and took another PCR test. A further test was needed when leaving Cape Town for Antarctica and a final one five days after that.”

        After they reached Antarctica…

Two-thirds of the researchers have tested positive.

      • January 4, 2022 at 1:28 am

“(Did you know we used the wrong figure for the specific gravity of fluorine for seventy-three years?”

And the “official” human chromosome count was wrong for years as well — despite all the other scientists “confirming” it.

And then there was that Pluto embarrassment.

Don’t get me started on the “food pyramid.”

      • January 3, 2022 at 10:12 am

As to DJT , while in my view he has been awol from the primary cause since mid-‘20, -said absence only explainable for the darkest of reasons- he is an old man dealing with personal fear for his personal well-being and has jumped on every potion since he had the crap while still in office…and he has that right like everybody else, and is more afraid of being “intubated” than of long-term effects of the vax, as he knows there is probably no long-term for him.

He does NOT have the right to push that fear onto the people. He should make his own choice for his own self and stfu about it.

      • January 3, 2022 at 12:51 pm

We shouldn’t be surprised at DJT’s behavior. He is a notorious germ phobe and has been for a long long time.
So was Howard Hughes, and look what happened to him.
Phobias are by definition irrational. They may or may not otherwise affect the victim’s judgment, but we must be wary of the fact that they often escalate with age.
It would be doubly tragic if we followed one dotard with another in the White House.
Our best insurance is to Primary the whole lot, clear away the deadwood, parasites, and the Deep State, and so restore Constitutional government.
Fire them all and let God sort us out.

    • January 3, 2022 at 12:41 pm

Well, ‘big pharma’ got protection from jab outcomes, one would think ‘big insurance’ is protected as well.

      • January 3, 2022 at 12:54 pm

“Protection” is the name of the game on Capitol Hill.
The only way this happens is by Congress insulating itself from everything but the bribes.

      • January 3, 2022 at 1:36 pm

Actually, they knew going in the Juice would cause major problems.
Therefore, no protections from legal and financial hits are warranted.

    • January 3, 2022 at 2:26 pm

I wouldn’t want to lay this purely at the feet of strokes, clots, and other adverse Vax reactions.

Invisibly factored in here are deaths from folks who missed chemo appointments, delayed surgeries, and any number of other ‘elective’ medical procedures because our medical leadership chained themselves to a singular approach and their pharma/political cronies insisted that all bend the knee and accept their prescription.

The butchers bill will climb higher as the medical community has placed their reputations on this pyre and trust of one’s physician has become some quaint, old-fashioned notion. When I go see the reflector-heads, all I ever get is the party line; take the jab, sign up for a lifetime of statins, and don’t you read any of the research material or consult actuarial tabes as you are horribly unqualified and will certainly misunderstand it.

  • January 3, 2022 at 3:11 am

Chris, I just love the comparison. Great work.

  • January 3, 2022 at 5:41 am

As paralyzed-into-submission as they are by the constant FearPorn, one does have to wonder whether their deepest fear is not really of “covid” – but of a MAGA resurgence… why else drag this deadly farce on so interminably? why else the Stasi-inspired censorship?

The wife and I escaped from the Peoples’ Republic of Vermont seven years ago. I maintain communications with a clandestine Conservative radio station and resistance groups. Things have continued to go downhill since we went over the wire. The first panel is an excellent portrayal of Chittenden County. Vermont is one of the most vaxxed states, yet it has the highest number of cases.

“Everything the Left touches it ruins.”

Keep in mind that Vermont was at the center of Colonel-Commadant Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys in the late 18th Century.

Add Vermont onto the pile of ruins …

What in the holy hell is this about?

Daughter sent a link that I can’t get to copy here…from The Patriot Chris about all theaters everywhere showing only one movie on Jan 7 and 8 “The 355”..and also apparently corresponding to a Trump press conference on the 8th…

She confirmed this in our little FL town too…???

    • January 3, 2022 at 3:36 pm

Just looks like an attempt to save the theaters.
The trailer looks entertaining. Wonder if I can watch it on one of the “free” on my TV sites.

      • January 3, 2022 at 3:45 pm

Save the theaters how? Many movies playing today, but Fri and Sat just the one? Crazy…

      • January 3, 2022 at 7:39 pm

Dunno about subject movie, but for ‘free’ stuff:

    • January 3, 2022 at 3:43 pm

Somebody search for movies near you on Friday 1/7 and let us know please; even the large fancy theaters near us confirm what daughter said, only The 355 showing…wth?

      • January 3, 2022 at 6:40 pm

Bradenton/Sarasota 24+ screens and none showing that for the 7th. and even in coming attractions at this time.

      • January 3, 2022 at 10:36 pm

Weird, Yet Regal theaters in Sarasota and Bradenton are also The 355 only while AMC Sarasota 12 has a full slate through Thursday and nothing on Fri and Sat., got to be something political going on with that…

      • January 3, 2022 at 9:47 pm
        OH Bridge Guy

the Cinemark near me (north central Ohio) has only “The 355” on both Friday and Saturday this week.

      • January 3, 2022 at 10:42 pm
        CDR 215

        6 of 9 Knoxville AMC showing 355

      • January 4, 2022 at 12:14 am
        The Nth Doctor

Checked a couple of the theaters near me in the Austin, TX area. They are showing “The 355” on thr 7th, but it’s not the *only* movie being shown on the 7th…

Could just be that the theaters you’re looking at haven’t yet decided which movies currently on their roster this week are going to get held over for another week’s run (the “week” for theaters runs Friday through the following Thursday for scheduling purposes), so they’re only showing listing(s) for the *new* film(s) which are starting on Friday the 7th.

Booster or no booster? To do or to be, or scooby, dooby, doobie…? Why is it that the most restrictive places are the sickest? Cold environment, lack of blue skies, dark clothes, surly attitudes? Questions one ponders, (okay, just me).

Chris~ Should include an aspirin with the vitamin. Spike doesn’t like aspirin.

  • January 3, 2022 at 4:55 pm

I had omicron. I also was vaccinated. Omicron was really boring. I took an advil, had a sniffle for a couple of days, drank tea and chicken soup, and took a nap that first afternoon. That was my entire COVID experience. Probably, the vaccination reduced the severity, but also probably, omicron COVID is as mild as they say it is.

And we killed civilization for that?

    • January 3, 2022 at 6:44 pm

No, jabless me had it too (either that or an uncharacteristic cold)…as shown in the NyQuil joke at the top, those are the typical symptoms. And a healthy adult with a decent immune system is a lot more critical to it being only that than a jab, the effects of which could come home to roost years from now.

      • January 3, 2022 at 6:49 pm

Happily, now you and I both have naturally acquired immunity, by all reports a lot better than the chemically induced kind…but they don’t want that happy news getting out…
