Day By Day

  • JTC

Okay, that’s a pretty good bad joke.

But who are you, you grotesque mummified caricature imitation of my prez?

    • Malatrope

Agreed…Chris, this isn’t as good a job as you usually do at drawing The Scary Orange Man! Or is it supposed to be somebody else? Head is too skinny.

      • Henry

For a second I thought he was wearing a Guy Fawkes (“V”) mask.

  • Calvin

There might be a kernel of a piece of an idea here. Organize a counter White House Correspondents dinner event. Libs love anything that is “counter” and put it on the same night as the original but make it funny. In a few years they will televise the Trump Correspondence dinner event and comedy roast.

  • Pamela

He is not Milton Berle, more Jackie Gleason…

    • Toxic Deplorable B Woodman

      And awaaaaaaaay we go…….

      • Bill G

But there won’t be ‘more than 47 beans’ in his cup … or am I remembering the wrong comedian? (And I’m not even sure of the number. Snicker.)

      • Pamela

With his Scotch in a tea cup. On Camera. He looked more like a Bourbon man to me.

    • Interventor

      AKA, the Great One

    • Henry

      “To da moon, Alexandria!”

  • Toxic Deplorable B Woodman

Book him? That’s what Mule-Ear tried to do to President Trump for the past two years.

  • Toxic Deplorable B Woodman

Reporters? Victims? Only of their own stoopidity and Libtard politics.
They ain’t seen “victim” yet. Let any one of them come up to me to ask a question or my opinion. I’ll be beating them up one side and down the other, all while hollering about “verbal assault” and “defending myself”.
And being an old man with a cane, ya think I could get away with it?

    • Punta Gorda

      Only if you are transgender.

    • Pamela

Depending on the length of cane or crook, you might be able to remove them exit stage left. Being Bad Actors and all. Many can’t spell or parse a coherent sentence. They remind me of the emoting an actor would do to convey a feeling…circa 1920. Some much for Dancing Cavilers and Maidens requiring rescue.

  • WayneM

The MSM are just dirty dirty smear merchants… and they’ve proved it in the coverage of DJT from the day he announced his candidacy forward… and they’re proving it again in the UK just now as they’re using every nasty trick in their filthy playbook as they ‘re going after Sargon of Akkad with a vengeance.

  • NotYetInACamp

The evil merchants of fake have helped their fellow leftist types delay the implementation of the people’s agenda for another two and a half years.

By that measure the libetards have not been that tarded.

    Another French model internet statistic.
It has been said that our US Congress occupiers have voted against the will of the people on the important matters at least 85% of the time in the past 50 years.
Convince me that I am wrong.

And convince me that the people would not rather tune in and watch our President than the MSM crappissindents dinner roast and moron fest.

    • JTC

As we laugh at the farce that the media and the rest of the leftist .org truly are we should keep the truth of your words at the top of your comment in mind…where could this country be right now without this full-on effort to obstruct and deny and attack our President and the will of our people based on nothing but hate and greed? Really not too funny is it?

    • Maybe the MSM/Dem alliance are simply giving DJT the plausible deniability that he needs.

I mean; T can’t run on building the wall, for example, and win, and then not build the wall unless he has an excuse that is at least semi-plausible, can he? And if that is the case then they are all partners in a great circus. Fellow actors in a grand theatre, cast by the same directors.

Likewise, do the republicans not support the Democrats by offering up lame, flabby, watered-down and compromised representations of “conservatism”, “capitalism”, “limited government”, “faith” “liberty” and “patriotism”?

If I truly believed that the Republican Party was the incarnation, the very embodiment and ultimate champion of the principles of liberty upon which this country was ostensibly founded, then I’d hate this country as much as the Democrats/communists, the students of Critical Theory and the race & poverty pimps do.

Go ahead and pick your “side” in this Roman arena and be a cheerleader. It will help both “sides” because it will bolster the ratings of the charade.

      • JTC

T can’t run on building the wall and win, and then not build the wall unless he has an excuse that is plausible, can he? The MSM/Dem/Rino alliance are giving DJT plausible deniability. and if that is the case then that alliance are partners in a great campaign of collusion and obstruction. Fellow actors in a grand scheme to defraud the electors and deny the President’s efforts to fulfill his promised initiatives.

Not much different than what you wrote in your first three paras Lyle. As to the next part, I’m not sure what the R party is an incarnation of but for the most part it is not the champion of the principles of the founders, nor mine, nor Trump’s.

And that last part is just gratuitous and rather insulting blather.

We don’t disagree much on substance, just the failure to differentiate the motives of the players and the fatalism and you seem to embrace.

        • Lyle’s a blackpiller.

      • NotYetInACamp

        So run, Lyle.

      • NotYetInACamp

They want us to believe that we can’t change anything.
        – Clair Quinn
Standing for an EU Member of Parliament from Ireland from near the border with Derry. The National Party.

They are trying to avoid the troubles others are bringing to Europe.

  • CaptDMO

Calvin: “Organize a counter White House Correspondents dinner event.”
I believe that’s called the family at the dinner table, during the dinner hour, with no exceptions, and no printed circuits.
    Call me old school.

  • Bill G

Given the DMC member’s propensities, this should be called a Co-respondent’s Dinner.

  • Tagg

Its occurred to me this morning that the media portrays Trump as an uncivilized vicious and vinductive madman who tweets out of control and unnecessarily, all because he dares to stand up for America and himself. But the whole time, it is they who are uncivilized, vicious, vindictive, and bat shit crazy. They learned their lessons well from Alenski and Mama Clinton.

  • Wotan

An ink stained wretch wrote this about the WHCD:

“And the glurge and treacle kept flowing. At the end of a family trip to Mexico, Knox mused that “if the president tried to keep me out of the country, at least Uncle Josh is a good lawyer and will get you home.” Journalists in the Trump era are actually under physical threat, Knox said somberly.”

“…fake news and enemies of the people are not punch lines…”

No, that’s your job description as the PR cog in the leftist machine.

But your lack of grok of the irony is funny is a sad sort of way.

      • JTC

And speaking of fake (and funny!) it is apparent that you attended the Smollett School of victimhood…did the newsroom coffee boy you hired to leave that package on your porch run away cackling epithets and wearing a MAGA hat? 😀

  • Tagg

Funny what creeps in my head each morning, seemingly fueled by reading DBD. Thinkinf that since the Dems and RINOs wont fund the peoples wall, Trump should ask for additional funding for the department of the interior to better protect the flora and fauna of our precious national parks. Then spend the money on building the wall to protect our natural areas against “invasive species”. Then, he can tweet “what a fat cow Stacy ZhuAdams is” and no one will ever notice that he did it. Especially, our low IQ media.

    • NotYetInACamp

The invaders sent in by the Democrats have done massive damage to the National Parks and federal land in the areas near or on the US-Mexico border. The ecological damage extends on both sides of the border and in many places on the USA side is extensive and is spread many dozens of miles inside the US. Many ecosystems are extensively damaged by the people illegally crossing into the USA.

Audubon Society used to be against the masive immigration (illegal and legal) to the USA due to the massive increased impact they claim on the Earth by these people moving from third world nations to the first world USA. Various liberal gave many tens of millions of dollars to the leftists in the Audubon Society that successfully switch thew society’s former policy to a policy supporting the invasions of the USA.
Alleged damaging ecological ootprints can magically vanish when money is involved being spread around.

“I don’t want to dwell on the President.”
As he continued to dwell on the President…….

  • James F Gemind

Joke wasn’t bad, but the ‘They should book me’ line was excellent. Artwork was not up to your usual high standard though. Hope you are sick or something…

  • JTC

    Nah, it’s a TrumpTrain wreck. 😀

But with that title and knowing of our host’s fondness for obscure references, I can’t help thinking it’s intentional. But I’ll be damned if I can figure it out.

    • kadaka

Like with the ancient theater masks like sadness and joy? It’s tragedy or comedy.

  • This would seem the place for a memory of mine: “It’s hard to remember the object is to drain the swamp when you’re up to your ass in alligators”. He’s got that sniper grade focus, up to his ass in demoncraps and still draining that swamp. I’m just waiting for the hangings. I’ll pay per view for those.
