Except for the “cold”, no, this is NOT a bad thing.
I like Jo. I think I’m warming up to her.

Thank you, I’ll be here all week.

Who is Jo speaking to? Not Sam? Skye in an off lighting? (showing hair as brown instead of black)

Imagination, perception, judgement, language, consciousness & empathy? At least three of those disqualify Jo from running as a Democrat…

At least two of them disqualify her from running as GOPe, too.

Given all the Dem candidates, and proggies in general, who lack any real empathy although they pretend well for the camera, this “humanish” concept could use some further thought.

The new progressive catchphrase is “post-human”. The conventional wisdom on that side is that machines will replace us, and the enlightened ones will upload their consciousness into the network, thereby becoming the gods they have always conceived themselves to be.

Those of us who remain organic will likely be fed into the mass-converters. Unless of course they keep some as slaves to feed their own egos. (See The Dancers of Noyo by Margaret St. Clair.)

How they expect to make this work in the Bronze Age agrarian feudalist/socialist environment they wish to create with the Green New Deal is not entirely clear. Someone should explain to them that the Hunger Games world can’t possibly work.

Not that they’ll believe it. Magical thinking is the only kind they ever bother using.

Man that humanish thing is HOT to be so cold…

If those running for office think being human is so bad, you wouldn’t think they would be doing their best to make it so bad for us all to be running FROM office.

Why don’t they just STFU and let us live?

“Why don’t they just STFU and let us live?”

We are not yet servile enough to be a proper slave class that is obedient and ultimately disposable.

Plant-based diets risk ‘dumbing down’ the next generation, nutritionist warns

As I remember being a key part of an ancient episode of 21 Jump Street, cults promote a no-meat vegetarian diet because the lack of key nutrients promotes obedience, as researchers long knew. Then criticizing no-meat diets became Very Bad. Now our moral, ethical, and intellectual betters want to make no-meat mandatory to Save The Planetâ„¢ from GlobalClimateWarmingChange, except for maybe free-range crickets humanely harvested.

The elite are currently hoping the ongoing tech revolution will remove the need for a permanent worker class altogether, leaving only occasional minions that could be rented.

Artwork is excellent! Eyes on Jo and Skye done very well. Making Jo Asian in the last shot was pretty nicely done as well.

Jo’s learned behaviors of imagination, perception, judgement… reminds me of a new series on Netflix- “Better than us” about a robot with these skills who attached herself to a family. Anyone seen it? It’s Russian, dubbed in English, and really good.
