Anyone heard what (if any) the policy platform looks like for the Democrats coming into the midterms? Looking objectively, it appears to be “We hate Trump and must stop him from making America great again by any means necessary!!”

        Actually, that’s exactly what they are running on;

        1. National $15/hr. minimum wage

        2. Free college for all

        3. Amnesty and citizenship for all

        4. Rolling back the tax cuts and increasing taxes

        5. A “reasonable foreign policy”- i.e., The One’s

        6. Expanding O-Care as the next step to single-payer (eugenics)

        7. Defense… uhh, can’t quite make up their minds on that but the F-35 must be saved and wars of “nation building’ must continue at all costs

        8. Criminal justice reform – stop locking up minorities and start taking guns away from rednecks, by force if necessary (in fact, they’d prefer it)

        9. Pull out all stops to stop global warming, meaning Holy Wind and Holy Sun only, forever and ever, Praise Henry David Thoreau and Jean-Jacques Rousseau.

        10. Abolish ICE, the Electoral College, stack SCOTUS with a dozen new “enlightened” justices, and do whatever else it takes to ensure they never lose an election ever again.

        11. And oh yes, impeach Trump, Kavanaugh, and everybody who didn’t vote for Hillary. Ideally, pass a law stating that if they can prove you voted for DJT, you are barred from ever voting again, even on what’s for dinner. (You will eat vegetarian kibble to Save Holy Mother Gaia and you will LOVE IT- or else.)

When progressives see that people are turning away from them, they never ask themselves why or reconsider their philosophies or actions. They just conclude that those people are stupid. wrong, and evil for not seeing their innate superiority and bowing to them.

And they double down on “conquer and rule”.

This is why progressivism, from Plato to Pelosi, has been the world’s prime purveyor of Blood, Devastation, Death, War and Horror for the last two and a half millennia.

But what else would you expect from someone who looks in a mirror, sees a god, and is incensed that they are not being worshiped properly?

Great list, but the TL;DR version (I’m one to reference that, right?) is to just about exactly reverse the order based on their priorities as so much of what they want is based on what you have at #11, maybe even pare your list down to just that as in their minds if they take out Trump the others will follow. If they can do that they believe they can take out us, as they do not grok that the movement is driven by us through him because that’s not the way it works in their top-down world. So yeah, take down Trump and take down the red wave is that it lefties? I am grateful to him for taking all the flak and getting a lot of our shit done, But we’ll have to wait and see if Trumpism is the genesis of the preference cascade or vice versa.

Those are the linchpins of their planned leftist takeover; definitely priorities. But their insane wild-eyed hatred for anything and everything Trump including his positions and progress on those issues goes beyond that into full blown psychotic damn the consequences crazy. It’s insane…literally.

But in about two weeks we’re going to find out to what degree the “electorate” agrees with that assessment or with the insanity, most especially their bread, butter, and circus issues you mention.

In about two weeks in Florida we are going to find out. In a state that has always had a weird split of old-lind progs and old-line conservatives, the politics have been dependably toward the latter, with even dem governors leaning well right.

And that is still the case; we are coming off eight years of R Rick Scott, identifies very Trumpist and solid on most convictions like flatly turning down billions already budgeted and offered to the state to build a stupid-ass “high speed rail” line up the I-4 median from Tampa to Orlando. He recognized the boondoggle of liability and subsidies that the state would assume and took Nancy R.’s words to heart: Just Say NO to all drugs including OPM. Yet he later lost his bald-headed mind and waaayyyy jumped the gun in his paniced and arbitrary response to having Parkland happen in his state and on his watch…we have now joined lovely beacons of freedom like Cali, NY, MD, and the Massholes in the ranks of state restrictions on firearms that are way beyond the federal requirements. Nice.

But I digress (shocker). Scott is also running, but for Senate against the fossil Nelson, an empty suit but dependably party line left. So he does play into the whole radical insanity but to a lesser degree than this governor race. Because there we’re about to see whether the decades long conservative operation of Florida will continue or whether we take a hard 90-degree and in many ways 180-degree turn, with an open and avowed conservative Trump supporter who has his endorsement, or an open and avowed socialist and Bernie supporter who has his endorsement, and that of the Bobo who recently visited and campaigned for his brother “brother”. Desantis is the most right leaning in what was a field of right leaning R noms, and Gillum is by far the most leftist in what was a field of leftist noms…think old-line South Florida Jews. And the latter is shown at above even in LSM polls.

And make no mistake, this dude is not hiding this agenda at all as eon suggests of the most leftist candidates…he is campaigning hard on radically increased taxes, open immigration/sanctuaries, 15.00 minimum wage, totally “free” health care and education, emptying the jails, and tripling down on gun regs. He wants a socialist operation as his adoration of Sanders indicates but this corrupt (multiple federal investigations) little commie presents a far greater danger to the future of this state and is a highly watched model for many others (even the leftist here were shocked at just how leftist their constituents went), and they are not hiding what they are, what they are doing, and what they want at all.

Progressives really do need their own planet. There are several systems with rocky Earth-type planets orbiting SOL-type stars in the Goldilocks zone. Some red dwarf stars, e.g., Proxima Centauri, also have rocky planets, such as Proxima b. I suggest we offer these benighted souls, including their “leaders”, refuge from the thundering herd of conservatives and the dreadful reality of the real world by sending them to Proxima b, and tell them to ‘SMEG OFF!’
Of course, it will be a one-way trip. No telling what’s already there. They can be the Pioneers of Their Generation. Proxima b is only about 4 light years away, in a triple star system. They can watch the three suns set, just like Luke Skywhatshisname.
Now, remember, Beto is NOT going to share any of that $38 million with the other people who were running for office with him and part of that fund raiser campaign. He’s keeping it all for himself. He has said so. He’s already got that smug-assed Trudeaud facial expression down pat. Women will vote for him with their vaginas in a heartbeat. They would never do it. First of all, it requires work, which they don’t do- they order peasants to do it, preferably at gunpoint. (Guns in the hands of their thugs, which is why they want everyone else disarmed.)

Second, that would require technology, which other than their tech toys they are violently opposed to. Primitivists who want civilization to vanish so they can have Eden all over again (in spite of not believing in the original) aren’t getting on a colony transport voluntarily.

Third, going back to peasants, they want slaves, and the idea of a colony where everybody has to volunteer just doesn’t work for them. They want to rule Botany Bay, not Plymouth.

Finally and most importantly, that would leave people here on Earth and possibly elsewhere who were not under their bootheels. And that they will never tolerate.

Progressives are gods. Gods do not allow mortals to be free of them. They grind mortals ‘ faces into the dirt forever, under their feet.

Just ask them, they’ll tell you.

When deportation became popular in the 17th century, the British government started deporting the criminals to America. Then Australia became the next destination after the Brits lost their battle (twice) to us. So I’d say deportation to another planet is a humane, and certainly reasonable, way to deal with people who are destructive of everything in their soulless existences, including the legitimate government of this country.
Send a few to Proxima b and see what happens.

The truth? There is idealism and Reality. There are also Lies and Damn Lies.

I am a Moderate Republican. On a political scale of one to eleven, where one is Nancy Pelosi and Mad Maxine Waters, and eleven is…Rush Limbaugh plus three, I am about 6.9 I have issues with abortion, but accept that at times it should be available to a woman. Just not because having a child is ‘Inconvenient. I believe that a Law abiding Citizen should be allowed to own weapons without questions beyond ‘Have you committed a violent felony?’

The environment? I believe that the EPA, at the Local, State, and Federal Levels, has gone completely out of control, when it is not ineffective, or worse, totally incompetent. An example of that that makes me angry, is the contaminated river that supplied a Native American Reservation with nearly half its drinking water. Why was the river contaminated? Because the EPA SCREWED UP BY THE NUMBERS, when they were dealing with an abandoned mine in Colorado.

The EPA has saved several dozen species from Extinction, like the Bald Eagle, and quite possibly the California Condor. But they go to far too often, with no controls placed on them. Until Trump came to town…

Here’s a link to an essay that clearly defines what the Leftreds think and almost how they think. It could be possibly termed ‘narrow focused thinking,’ the kind that frequently leads to failure to reach a goal.

    https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/10/13/president-trump-is-the-strongest-and-most-determined-political-force-in-our-lifetime/

Good essay there D. I do think it assigns Trump as the godhead too much “President Trump is the strongest and most determined political force in our lifetimes.”…but that is immediately corrected in the title of the vid in Donald’s own words “I am your voice.” We could more correctly edit that first one to “President Trump is guiding the strongest…”
