Some people Progtard Dildocrats just want to see it burn…so they can take our property and our rights.

    • eon

They dream of standing limned against the ruins by the sunrise as they build Utopia on top of same. But to get the full effect their egos demand, they first need the ruins.

Their Utopia would of course look more like Everytown under The Boss in Things to Come (1936). Except I doubt they could come up with anything like Wings Over The World, no matter how much it would appeal to their innate fascism.

  • Excellent fits for characters. Amazing.

Nadler, who belts his pants at chest level. Outfit him with a top hat, monocle and cigarette holder and you’ve got the Penguin.

  • NotYetInACamp

    Entertaining.

But if only the real crime characters were only as dangerous as these imagined ones.
We could survive the imaginary characters if they were real. The real people want us dead or enslaved.

    Another outta da ball park.
I just wish that we could round up those people (along with several dozen others) in one place, lock the door behind them, then just turn around, and walk away.

    • OH Bridge Guy

I just wish that we could round up those people (along with several dozen others) in one place, lock the door behind them, then just turn around, and walk away.

I understand and concur with this wish…

…but my first thought on reading it was, how is that different from what we accuse them of wanting to do to us?

We tire of playing Whack-a-Mole with those who would deprive us of our liberties, but eternal vigilance is the cost of Liberty. I don’t want to stoop to their level

      • eon

If our laws were enforced as written, half of them would already be behind bars.

But as with most such systems, the ruling class do as they please and tell the ruled, “what are you gonna do about it, peasant?”

        You’re kidding, right?

That’s like saying that defending your life when someone tries to take it, is “stooping to their level”.

They do not deserve that particular consideration! Not my fault, theirs!

  • WayneM

Yet despite all of the madness, the emotional rhetoric and the absolute lack of ethical behaviour, the Democrats have slowly managed to push the Overton Window to the left… have managed to grow the size and scope of government… have introduced and/or implemented nearly every aspect of socialism… and came very close to placing a monster in a pantsuit in the White House.

Bill Whittle asserted recently that the Tea Party movement was responsible for turning the tide and creating the conditions; Trump was just the right guy in the right place at the right time. I’m not sure I totally agree but it got me thinking.

I want to be hopeful for the final light of liberty on the planet… but when wackaloons like “the Squad” manage to get elected… When freaks like Schumer, Schiff and Pelosi get repeatedly elected… Damn, it’s hard to believe.

    • interventor

It might be argued that using a weaponized IRS to destroy the Tea Party movement resulted in Trump’s election — blow back.

      • WayneM

They also weaponized the FBI and other federal agencies to try to prevent Trump’s election but he managed it regardless.

Perhaps we should be grateful they’re not more effective?

Obama’s picks for the Supreme Court were designed to ensure the slow march toward communism continued. Let’s hope Trump fills at least one more seat to reverse that tide.

The definition of Insanity is to keep doing the same things over and over again expecting a certain desired outcome. I’d say Thorazine and some Large Animal Tranquilizers all around for the next foreseeable future.

  • Pete231

    Birds of a feather…….

  • Bill G

Crazed, perhaps, but not crazy. Unless you count the lust for power, the desire to tell everyone else how to live, as an insanity. I simply think it’s evil.

The sisters don’t have points, just curves.

“points of her own, way up high. Way up firm and high” Apologies to Bob Seger

Careful. Italy is their inspiration. Open borders and let Corona trash the system. Then “they” who they think are immune, will get to install socialism, “for the duration of the Emergency”. I am guessing that is a way to eliminate the older adults who have been keeping them from doing what they want. The frenzy to do “stupid” will be un-worldly. Free! Free! Free! Then the Gulags.

    • NotYetInACamp

      Using the BOOMER REMOVER.

Crazy is one thing. Crazy + criminal is another.
I wish they were merely nuts.

    • Old Codger

      Amen to that.

Oh! Oh! I have squirrels we can feed them to in my neighborhood.
Caught one this morning chewing in the cable connectors up on the phone/electric pole in my backyard.

      • pyrodice

They normally only do that ONCE.

  • Dread

There has been a huge lack of natural selection. Take all warning labels away for one year. Very likely the worlds political condition would improve drastically.

  • PaulS

They took an oath, were given the trust of the people, they then abused that trust and acted contrary to the interests of the Laws of the Constitution they swore to uphold! We used to execute those whom waged this sort of war against our country. When they know they can get away with anything, they will do anything.

  • The 300

The Democrats have surpassed the magnesium flare level and are now at the willie pete stage of flaming idiocy.

    • Pamela

What puts out willie pete (technical question)? Does it burn out?
Can it be doused with something else? As to flaming idiocy…

        • John

I guess this includes the Va legislature? The National Guard?

      • Pat Umaporn

Practically speaking, not much puts out WP. Vague memories of long-ago service related first aid techniques included digging it out, flushing with copious amounts of cool water, and packing the wound with wet earth followed by immediate medevac. Excepting small exposure, prognosis is poor. Perhaps someone with more recent training can comment.

        • Punta Gorda

Problem is, those high energy metal fires can snatch the oxygen out of the water.

      • Too Tall

Re: Extinguishing White Phosphorous (Willy Peter).

You need to remove all sources of oxygen, burying it deeply in sand is one method.

Submerging it in water will work, but if you spray it with water it will fragment and burn more fiercely due to the increased surface area

Before the “revolution” Russia had the best/most armed society in the civilized world. Disarmament was the top priority, and for enforcement the Cheka was organized. For those who were suspected of less than total allegiance death was too easy.
One should remember all the awards the press won in the 1920’s and 30’s glossing over the reality of the birth of communism. I see too many similarities from then to now to think any of this will turn out well by treating them with more deference than they’re treating the country.
For instance – why is Schumer still walking around? There are many answers…

    • NotYetInACamp

The New York Times. Bring the USA lies since even before the 1920’2. Lies about communists being the good guys are a specialty.

Fidel Castro was a great hero according to the New York Times, as was his brother Raul, and the racist Argentine doctor Che Guevara.
No communist could wrong according to the Grey Lady.

  • Halley

If your mind has been infected and rendered impervious to reason by TDS, is this the pathway to joining the Corona Is The Bubonic Plague hysteria? Just throwing out a theory…

    • John

Oddly enough the hysteria actually works to our favor, barring things like toilet paper hoarding.
The legitimate public health goal is to keep the Wuhan virus suppressed long enough to establish a decent herd immunity.
We won’t stop it, or even contain it, but we will keep hospitalizations down to a manageable rate, that is to say one where we won’t have to turn people away from hospital care like in Italy.
Our news media is so dysfunctional that that simple fact, which every citizen should have been made aware of _two months ago_, is STILL not common knowledge.
I find it disturbing that the Corporate Elite in this country is so deeply in cahoots with Beijing that all mention of the origin of the Wuhan virus as such has been banned from the news media and the fact that it was created in the bio-weapons research facility in that city is now a taboo subject.
