Key word is “act”. Their only real interest in Kurt’s freaks is to nurture them as destructive diversions…

People are surprised to find out Eric Swalwell has been running for president but he just bowed out. Pledging to nuke gun owners who refuse to surrender to government confiscation was a winning strategy he’ll stick with but his reasons for quitting involved the DNC debate rules being unfair, etc.

However taking his place in the gauntlet will apparently be billionaire Tom Steyer, who will settle for no-knock midnight SWAT raids of all AR-15 owners and other alt-right white supremacist wannabe domestic terrorists. He’ll also impound any non-electric pickups for which you’re refusing to buy carbon credits.

Why am I thinking of the governor in the movie “Blazing Saddles?”
Or rather the person attending to the governor in truth.

Some claim the Democrats are turning hard-left on the advice of consultants. It’s hard to imagine they would pay for such abysmal advice but who knows?

Others claim the Democrats are pursuing the “progressive” voters; a small but vocal minority of leftists much loved by the media for their click-bait headlines.

To me, it seems like the clown carload of candidates are engaged in political one-up-man-ship… each trying to out-crazy the rest in order to differentiate themselves from the crowd. When geriatric Bernie Sanders, the self-avouched socialist who actually yearns for communism, is being passed on the left… it’s just craziness.

On an unrelated note, I wonder if Epstein will survive to trial?

        “…survive to trial?”

Hard to say. Billy slob is already on the record of acknowledging only 4 flights yet the pilots flight logs show 26. WITH lolita party favors onboard if I remember the clip correctly.

To recall a line from the UCMJ (which I don’t think applies)

“Penetration, however slight,” is sufficient to satisfy the requirements of this article.

    So they led our way.
Not a clown show. Not our Democrats.
The Swiss have borders, three languages, and are not clamoring to give up their nation. The peaceful Swiss have guns for all worthy of them. And jet fighters inside mountains.

Switzerland gun control: Voters back EU regulations
      19 May 2019

Almost 64% of voters in Sunday’s referendum supported tougher restrictions on semi-automatic and automatic weapons, final results show.

Switzerland is not an EU member, but risked removal from the open-border Schengen Area if it had voted “no”.

Nearly 48% of Swiss households own a gun – among the highest rates of private ownership in Europe.

      The rules called for:
      * A ban on weapons capable of rapidly firing multiple rounds
      * Automatic and semi-automatic weapons to either be banned or heavily restricted
      * Each owner of such a weapon, and the weapon itself, to be known to police across Europe
      * All essential weapon components to be clearly labelled and registered electronically

For the Swiss to keep open borders they are agreeing to European-wide tracking of owners and weapons, down to individual components, and weapon bans.

In the main – That sucks.
The EU self appointed tyrants bully another nation yet again.
The insanity of Europe that has infected all of western Civilization to such a point that it is threatened is shown by this. The wackadoodles in suicidal form act as their solution to violent people imported (invaded) is to bring more of those culturally violent enemy people into the nations the tyrants believe that they own.
obviously the Swiss have been successfully convinced that all of Europe knowing where individuals there have weapons is more important and beneficial to the Swiss than having the Shengen Area removed and border controls going back up.
The vast military stockpiles of heavy and light weapons are nt included I would surmise.
I believe the tradition of keeping one’s family’s battle rifles and assault rifles at home will continue, even though the entire of the Schengen area now knows where those are.
The EU’s initial proposal sparked criticism in Switzerland, because it meant a ban on the tradition of ex-soldiers keeping their assault rifles.

” The EU’s initial proposal sparked criticism in Switzerland, because it meant a ban on the tradition of ex-soldiers keeping their assault rifles.
Swiss officials negotiated concessions, but some gun activists argued that the rules still encroached on citizens’ rights. ”

And they do encroach. Across the world such encroachments continue. – And how’s that ammunition control system working in California? It probably is keeping people from the Ammo they want and or need. Two minute ammo buyer checks are really more often 30 minutes to two hours or more I have heard.

I can’t just wax pleasantly thoughtfully on the past glories of what an armed people can do to tyrants. Hints of reality have to be pointed out. Brought back down to earth again. But I can hope and dream.

Switzerland’s independence has been an affront to European heads of states’ opinion of their own superiority going back to Charles the Bold of Burgundy (1433-77). I believe that the only people they have ever hated worse were the Hussites (another bunch of armed peasants) and of course the Jews.

Also, the EU crowd still believes that all those Swiss banks have vast gold reserves, and naturally that gold rightfully belongs to Eueope’s Enlightened Leaders (TM). So they can play in it like Scrooge McDuck, and then lie on top of it while lighting up a joint and getting orally “serviced” by the Swedish Women’s Bikini Volleyball Team.

The delusions of self-anointed Ruling Classes never go away, they just get passed down from one generation to the next.

The Swiss have more than just the accounts of the very wealthy, now. During the last recession, the low end rich and the high end middle class made pilgrimages to Switzerland about once a month. They’d stop at currency exchanges to swap euros for Swiss francs, at coin shops to buy gold coins and at jewelry shops to buy 24 karat gold jewelry. Then to the banks. The Swiss francs would be deposited in their accounts. As so much currency as coming in, the Swiss stopped paying their one percent interest on deposits, plus charged a negative interest to accept non-Swiss currency. The gold went into safe deposit boxes. The travelers would charge their expenses and pay in euros when they returned home.

I hope that an armed citizen stops it.

But then it might not be a mass shooting, and the stopping will be of no interest at all to the prostitute media.
