After the Boston Massacre on March 5, 1770, John Adams successfully defended the British soldiers who killed Crispus Attucks and four other colonists from charges of murder. Two were found guilty of manslaughter.
The events of that evening started at dusk, around 5:30 PM.
Crispus Attucks was 47 when he died. John Adams was 35 at the time.
This story line is going to get very interesting….
The Girondists didn’t like the way to Chamber ran France. They wanted France run more like the new United States.
The Jacobins weren’t having any of it. They wanted total destruction so they could create a Utopia on the ruins, with themselves ruling it forever by “the unhesitating use of revolutionary terror”.
So, after the Girondists had helped the Jacobins overthrow and behead the King, the Jacobins did likewise to the Girondists. They had outlived their usefulness.
The Democrats, especially the Socialist version, are simply another iteration of Jacobinism.
They won’t stop, and they won’t leave. They are Hell-bent on destruction in the belief that it will give them Absolute Power Forever.
(Yes, they are the kind of fanatics who Think In Capital Letters.)
Expecting them to “just go away” is asking too much of their Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.
They want most Americans exterminated and the few they graciously allow to live as their slaves.
The thing is, they believe the Islamists are the perfect tool to achieve this. Not realizing that the Islamists have a similar view of them.
We face two lots of irrational enemies. Expecting them to behave rationally is simply not realistic.
At least you might be Canada, we won’t be for much longer…West Calcutta just doesn’t have the same ring to it.

Too Tall
Political acts motivated by a perceived need for revenue and expediency are almost always a terrible idea whose unintended negative consequences impose far greater damages on the country that created them than the meager benefits that result.
The Seven Years War, known as the French and Indian War in the Colonies, nearly doubled the national debt of Great Britain, and left it with a large standing army of 10,000 soldiers, led by 1,500 officers who were for the most part commissioned for their politics instead of their leadership and military skills.
Demobilization after a war is always politically difficult, and despite the facts that the French and Indian War was a minor sideshow in the Seven Years War and the Colonies had born more than their fair share of the costs in blood and treasure, Great Britain decided to recoup the costs and impose the burden for quartering the army on the Colonies.
Thus, the Sugar Act, Quartering Acts, Stamp Act, Townsend Acts, and post-Boston Tea Party, the Intolerable Acts were all passed, each driving the Colonies to a Revolutionary War.
The most egregious own goal among these acts is probably the Quebec Act, which inflicted long-term problems on Canada that persist to this day.
The collective positive outcomes of theses Acts are some of the most masterful language in our Constitution and Bill of Rights, written to prevent such abuses by our government. At least until the Sixteenth Amendment opened the door to the Progressives destroying this nation.
T. Rex Arms did a video for today, about the “hidden secrets” of the 2nd Amendment. As he pointed out, we as Colonists basicly REMEMBERED the lessions of Magna Carta, the Assize of Arms, and the English Civil War better, on our frontier than the Brits did at home where they were created.
MAY WE NEVER FORGET THOSE LESSIONS, and keep Govt. In it’s proper-sized (small !!) box!
Each town kept its own time by the sun, it wasn’t until the 1800’s that the railroads implemented a ‘standard time’ to get schedules and telegraph messages to make sense. Sanford Fleming was a major force behind that, unfortuately the village idiot sneaked in and created ‘Daylight Saving Time’ which hopefully will fade away sooner rather later…somebody is making money based on it or it would have happened years ago. Could be worse though, during WW2 in Britain there was ‘Double Daylight Saving Time’ leading to the exchange “What time is it ?”, “One of the clock by G-d’s time, Two by man’s time and three by the devil’s time(referring to hitler)”…guess how long that little bit of useless trivia has been rattling around in my head waiting for an excuse, any excuse, to jump out and annoy people 🙂
