At this moment, enough ordnance is being detonated over the skies of our nation’s capitol to vanquish any foe.

Mar God continue to bless America, and may Old Glory continue to wave for another 2,500 years.

The best is yet to come.

    I beg to differ.
OUR Revolution made way for the institution of Individual Rights and the Liberties that resulted.
The results of our success in simply being able to keep the fruits of our labors attracted the Parasites en masse who were and are now being generated in the Old World.
These Parasites even invented “religions” and “political movements” that they used to justify the wrongful taking of Life, Liberty, and Property.
We now call these organized looters Feminists, Islamists and Communists, but Man Haters, Murderers and Thieves are a far better description, no matter how they might justify themselves.

Sam and Zed are a little early with the desire to change things.
I can think of several later time points to make any changes.
Add somewhere in the Constitution about nominal base pay and term limits (both politicians and bureaucrats), and not taxing the citizens’ income, from any source (removes the Whiskey Rebellion and the 16th A)
Possibly rewrite the 2A so that it can’t (CAN’T) be misinterpreted by Libtards.
After that, make the 14th a law, not an Amendment, with a ohhh…..say……20 year sunset clause.
After that, I think history will be bent enough to wait for future ripples to die down and see what happens in the “present”.

Agreed! The Second Amendment should have used the wording from the Montana Constitution:
“The right of any citizen to keep or bear arms in defense of his own home, person, and property, or in aid of the civil power when thereto legally summoned, shall not be called in question.”

It sort of was, the phrase “a well regulated militia” has a completely different meaning to what the liebrals try to tack onto it today. ‘Well regulated’ meant ‘well armed and drilled in their use’ and militia members were expected to bring their own military comparable arms and ammunition when called up…including cannons, which were privately owned at the time…so the phrase “shall not be infringed” means the gov’t can’t take the people’s arms like the redcoats tried to do which started the shenanigans.

Heartily concur with your sentiment. Respectfully disagree with your plan. Changing the words on paper will change nothing, and will likely encourage our enemies. We already have words on paper, good words.
We need to live up to them. What we need to change is hearts and minds.

We need to use the “old saw” I first heard in the Vietnam era:

“If you have them by the balls,
their hears and minds will follow.”

        Also heard as:

“If you have ’em by the balls
Squeeze ’em ’til they squeal !!”

Actually there were a few Jews here and there. And there was at least one Muslim (or formerly Muslim ) family. My ancestor, Anthony Janszoon van Salee, son of the pirate king of Salee, Jan Janzoon, came to New Amsterdam with his father’s treasure and set about raising caine with the Dutch. He’s famous, look him up. Eventually his descendants moved to NJ and joined the Dutch Reform Church in Lebanon NJ. He died long before the Revolution and as far as we can tell his family stopped being Islamic. After 13 generations of marriages, some of his family is still here, not a mile from where I live.
Muzzies were very few here in those days but they were around.

    Guys,

I hate to interrupt but this morning I found another one of my kitties had crossed the rainbow bridge this morning. Mahvis was strong, sweet one whose big heart just gave out from battling an aggressive tumor. We were going out to watch the fireworks but God whispered to us to stay home. Glad we did because Mahvis was extra cuddly last night. Guess she knew what was coming. We could use your prayers. God bless you all and the USA!

Sorry to hear of your loss. I experienced the loss of one of my cats this past January. She was 18 years old and been feeling poorly for a couple of weeks.

It’s never easy to lose one of our fur kids.

      Son of Valkyrie…
You have my sincere condolences. I have one that’s over 17 years old. He’s been through a lot with me in my later years. I just dropped almost a thousand dollars that I ‘don’t have’ trying to make him as comfortable as possible last week. This morning, I noticed his left pupil is much more dilated than his right. I’m thinking stroke but even if I had the money, there’s not much that can be done about it, if that is the case.
I’ve had a cat in my life since I was six. I like dogs but they’re not as independent. A dog is loyal and will treat you like a king. A cat will sit on your chest at 4AM and demand a sacrifice. If only we could domesticate jaguars and leopards like Belgian Malinois…
