Don’t think that’s an automatic. What usually happens if, it’s not done at sentencing, is that someone sues to be made whole and “profits” can divert to a victim’s fund.
His lawyers and family are complaining he was put in protective custody…calling it ‘solitary’…when he most likely ‘checked in’ all by himself.
Put him in population and see how well his “I can go where I want to” schtick works out and how long before he whines to get back in.
I believe there was about $650,000 raised for his legal defense fund.
After their new house and car, they didn’t have enough money to hire an appeals lawyer.
