What are the Odds?

And now, as Paul Harvey would say, we know “The Rest Of The Story”.

After McDonnell-Douglas did their hostile takeover of Boeing under The One, they basically gutted its personnel roster and replaced practically every actual expert wit trust-fund babies in bespoke suits, mostly the sons/daughters/nephews/nieces etc. of McD-D bigwigs.

Then they DEI-hired anybody who checked a box on their POC/:LGBTQ+ submission to the Feds, regardless of qualifications or lack of same.

The most obvious result of this clusterfark was the 737 Max 8 debacle’. But it’s been a cascade failure throughout what used to be Boeing.

Word of G-d from forcibly retired engineers and managers is that the 2022 corporate HQ move from Chicago to Arlington VA was mainly to please the Democrats.

As for Commercial Aircraft Div at Renton WA, it’s basically a hollow shell now, as production is being shifted to St. Louis along with Boeing Defense Div to reduce costs.

And maybe, just maybe, get the KC-35 Pegasus in the air and operational sometime before it’s officially obsoleted by a blended wing body (BWB) low-RCS supertanker in the next twenty years.

Which ironically will probably be built by Airbus- in Texas.

I hadn’t heard about BWB. (Infantry officer here, when USAF is overhead, we’re looking for cover.) Those look radical. Thanks.

Looks like they’re talking with a new guy, JetZero? Might as well build em here. Everybody else is moving to the Lone Star State.

President Trump accepted a state-of-the-art AF-1 as a gift from Quatar, which will transport future presidents around the world, and he’s privately funding a ballroom that future administrations will host events in, instead of pitching tents on the White House lawn.

President Obama built a tennis court for his use, which last I heard is repurposed as a basketball court, and eminent-domained land to build a publicly funded (but not yet paid for) Borg prison disguised as a library.

Therefore, “President Trump is a tyrant.”

And after building that tennis court, The One spent most of his time slouching on a sofa in the WH basement, sucking on a doobie and watching reruns of pro basketball games.

I genuinely believe that we were saved from even worse results from his eight years in the Oval Office than what we actually had simply due to his incredible laziness.

By comparison, Biden was the poster boy for “active/stupid” even before he lost his few remaining marbles around late 2019.
