So true. I suspect she will have a difficult time sorting through all that has happened, but it sounds like she is certainly ‘all there’ and that’s a darn big plus in my book.

I LOVE Jalapeno’s on my burger (although some restaurants cheat and use those that have minimum heat. I mean what’s the point) I have 5 different kinds of hot sauce at home.

I don’t shy away from heat myself, but the best jalapeños I ever had were some I discovered in Taos. They were so mild I almost had to ask if they weren’t something else, but the flavor was to die for.
I’ve never come across anything like them again, so I have to assume they were local produce.

I throughly dislike the taste of most chili peppers, I do put curry powder on my hamburgers though
I’ll eat a curry or biryani that glows in the dark then go looking for more and I know curry does have hot peppers in it but the taste is completely different 😉

I LOVE Jalepenos, but prefer mild one. I like LOTS of them. I can take ridiculous heat, but I don’t enjoy it, so why should I?

I’d like to file this under “The Immutable Law of Unintended Consequences”, but anyone with more than one brain cell to rub together could see what would happen when a municipality defunds the local po-po.

This current development hurts so much!
I’m still waiting for the strip where this all turns out to be a dream sequence, and Jack and Kiko are fine. It’s only comics; nobody really dies. Right? Right?
The Niger minister of finance has be given 48hrs by the military, after a coup overthrow, to explain the country’s missing finances or face execution by firing squad.
Should politicians in the US and elsewhere face the same?
Homeless are an expensive thrill. Previously, CATO (Crazy, Addicted, Tramp, Other). There are better ways to assist the “Other”, who have had a run of bad luck. If the situation changes, the “Tramps” will just move on to a more tolerant location. The Crazy and Addicts may require (expensive) long term care lest they move to “self medication” with street drugs. No one is likely to trust the “authorities” with an institutionalization decision, since political disagreement is typically considered “crazy” or “criminal”. That is how the Soviet system worked.
