Don’t be so cocksure Red, it does repeat itself. If it’s allowed to.

    • JTC

      They do seem determined though, in their quest to demonize others by “advocating” for the downtrodden, to trod them down themselves without their consent…and the real real behind their labels will ultimately throw off their advocates and turn against them;

ADL ain’t real Jews. BLM ain’t real blacks. And pussyhatters sure as hell ain’t real women.

The leftist machine that purports to control and speak for them is in fact awakening some real sleeping giants. Talk about “woke”.

It seems like the Democratic Party is about to schism into two parts; the old venal corporate-Dems that we all know & loath vs. the new regressive progressives…

    Lebensraum and the Nazi State

In the Nazi state, Lebensraum became not just a romantic yearning for a return to the East but a vital strategic component of its imperial and racist visions. For the Germans, eastern Europe represented their “Manifest Destiny.” Hitler and other Nazi thinkers drew direct comparisons to American expansion in the West.

Take a charged term with deep significance like “White Supremacist” or “Lebensraum”, pass it off as something more benign like “White Nationalist” or “living space” to those who don’t realize what is really meant. Effective technique, like when Progressives innocently say “from the river to the sea”.

    • JTC

I think that’s exactly backwards. In fact leftists take perfectly cromulent, meaningful and innocuous terms like White Nationalist or Patriot or MAGA and manipulate and twist it into something they so desperately want it to mean and want everyone else to think it means. Like when leftists, self-haters, and signallers say “White Privilege”.

Fuck them and their attempted hijacking of my language, my meaning, and my contexts. I will keep my words and insist that those around me understand and accept them for the meaning I intend to convey. Words mean something. Protect them, for they are the tools of our defense against the destruction of our culture.

      • Kafiroon

        Yup.

The “twisted cross” is an important symbol in mysticism and occultism and an ancient religious icon throughout Europe and elsewhere. A simple geometric pattern, it has been found worldwide from ancient Greek and Roman times, throughout Asia and Africa and the Americas.

Everyone knows what a swastika means.

          • JTC

It is exactly like bump stocks.

And anybody who doesn’t grok what they are giving up in the micro may already have already lost more than they can fathom in the macro.

If you have to choose between a plan for success you absolutely know will work, and a good recovery plan for if it all falls apart, choose pragmatism over vanity.

        • eon

I was always taught that after somebody explains The Plan, the first question you need to ask is, “OK, what’s Plan B?”

The second question is, “Now, what’s your Go-To-Hell Plan?”

If they don’t have answers for those two questions (preferably ones that would make sense to an intelligent six-year-old), you need to rethink letting them run things.

Ever since the “progressives” chose the wrong side during the War on Terror, I’ve been wondering when the Democrat Left would wake up to the fact that its precious Marxist sympathies also share a certain infamous German relationship…

So much of being on the Left entails not admitting things. It’s the greatest coverup operation in the history of history.

The TV said France no longer has trees big enough for the timbers to rebuild Notre Dame. Expected as Europe was almost stripped bare for firewood and furniture until we started burning fossil fuels. Notice how the Pilgrims and other settlers sent back logs to Europe.

An obvious source of big timber might be California Redwoods, about the only source left that’s not in an “environmentally sensitive” rain forest.

The lawsuits from the Green Socialist groups will be impressive. I wouldn’t give it a month after being proposed before the protests start, screaming we shouldn’t kill living trees to build monuments to dead gods, etc. Oh, and VP Pence will be behind it somehow, because Christianity.

    • Wood

It’s worth proposing just to hear the wailing. It might also really throw them for a loop when they’re supposed to be getting their poop in a group for an election…

    • Delilah T.

The rafters of the spire and the roofing were not single timbers. Trees have a growth limit. There were and are none in Europe the size of the sequoias in the western USA. The wood the beams were made of is centuries old, which is why it burned so quickly. The rest of the cathedral is cut and mortared stone. The flying buttresses act as braces to absorb some of the weight of those thousands of tons of stone.

What the news media noticed was people falling onto their knees at the sight of the fire. They aren’t a “soulless” as the lefties,
      after all.

      Something’s going on.

      • kadaka

Given what I’ve heard of that deteriorating stone, with sections crumbling, it may be smart to actually tear it apart, inspect then replace stone as needed, and reassemble using modern methods and materials.

Although I’m certain that’ll uncover an uncomfortable amount of human remains, not all of which were officially buried there as was done in cathedrals. Likely there will be several former workers who fell between the cracks during construction, literally.

He looks just like that. He is Alfred E. And that he needs a “Who Me, President?” caption on every picture seems obvious. I already envision that as a meme running through the campaign. Every sign will be calling for a Who? ME? sticker or paint job on it. The peculiarity of the idiocy of the enemies of all sanity have been evolved into the perfect wrong candidate. What else can I expect from the wreck of a town that is next to my school which has succumbed so much to the idiocy afoot in the world today. The interbreeding of so many deviant thought chains devised to end real civilization have been bearing much absurd and very dangerous fruit. Ocassio, Pelosi, Frank, Teddy, MaCain, the Sharia House members, Hawaiian Senators, and so many more, are here spouting whatever they believe will bring them victory. And so many are just sociopaths to whom “by any means necessary” is wired into their brains. It has taken a while for the fruit to reach the extended harvest we have seen. We will survive the poison harvest it is. but the cost all have borne and will bear for the evil that has manifested.

They have no moral restriction on taking.

Actually both our government and our capitalism require moral people to function properly.
Morals have had nothing to do with the socialists and other miscreants that have gained so much power and done so much damage.

The infusion of incompatible cultures has been an intentional series of acts by those seeking the end of the USA which they see as an enemy.

They are not bound by the mores and beliefs that most of Western Civilization had developed to attempt limit immoral and unjust acts that damaged society and the people in it.

We are so racist that we made laws against “white” people and changed the population from 92% diverse “white” groups and cultures to the measly number that it is today.

I will have to finish watching when I have some time. But what he misses is that though someone like Smallet may show that there is less racism (only on the part of the “diverse white groups.”), it also shows a lack of responsibility, that may be endemic, by those not of the many “diverse white cultural groups.” They don’t have “whitey” to blame it all on, and they may have no internalized moral compass. Can they be OK being alone with themselves?

Speaking of the “right side of history” thang…

There was a general election in Alberta, Canada yesterday. I mentioned previously that Alberta is to Canada what Texas is to the USA… tending toward rugged individualism, small c-conservatism, rich in resources and fiscally solid. Toward the end of +40 years of government, the Conservatives were becoming infiltrated by leftists… to the point where the Premier (our version of a governor) ended up resigning in disgrace as a result of financial shenanigans. Losing the Premier did not flush out all of the leftists so the party had a schism.

A new party was formed, called the Wild Rose Party (after the provincial flower) espousing fiscally conservative & socially liberal policies… and they began enjoying electoral success… until the leader of the Conservative Party persuaded the Wild Rose Party leader to attempt a reconciliation… and then went into an election, proposing a deficit spending budget. The result was the voters spanked both the Conservatives and the Wild Rosers… and protest voted in the New Democratic Party… the most left-leaning major political party in Canada.

Realizing they were likely only going to have one kick at the can, the NDP pushed through a ton of legislation designed the deeply entrench labour rights while undermining family businesses, especially farms… running up massive deficits…

Long story short, the political parties of the right realized they needed to return to grass roots conservatism. They created a new party called the United Conservative Party, elected a new leader and moved boldly forward.

The media was filled with accusations of white supremacy, how this new party was top-filled with neanderthals, how the NDP were on the right side of history…

Long story short, the United Conservatives Party blew out the NDP, winning government decisively. The NDP managed to keep seats only in the concentrated urban areas. Hurray!!

Yet the damage done by the previous stupididty and treachery will take much time to repair. Reason did have a chance and may have prevailed.

The new German sociopaths are attempting to get their new living space in the destruction of the way over 150 separate cultures that currently exist in europe. they are importing replacement people of incompatible cultures that act to destroy all other culture.

Hungarian Prime Minister Orban spoke recently about our tribe which has been defending Europe from such invasions for more than a thousand years. (Never mind about those about 75 years after they bought the Carpathian Basin that they plundered the rest of Europe at will. People will do things. Especially Eurasian warrior tribes on horseback.)

Many who have been fighting \to save Europe are uniting with him and others to stop those such as Macron, Merkel, Junkers, Sutherland (deceased), Soros, who believe that Europe is a culture that must be diversified out of existence. Their diversification, if successful, will wipe out the more than 150 existing cultures already in Europe.

H ere is PM Viktor Orban at the meeting leading up to the European Parliamentary elections. (The EU Parliament is a show horse with no real power. They accept or reject laws presented to them by the EU. The EU can pass laws the EU Parliament rejects.)

The conservancy that oversees Notre Dame stated unless maintenance and repairs were performed, the cathedral was in danger of collapse within 10 years. Where wood shows, such the interior carvings, wood should be used. Where it doesn’t show, use steel and modern materials. A sprinkler system such as that in the US National Cathedral would be in order. Failure of emergency response may have contributed to the extent of the fire. Reportedly, it took 2.5 hours for the fire trucks to respond. There was one fire boat attempting to fight the fire earlier. I saw about six or so pumpers working at a medium height. But, only one ladder truck hovering above the roof spraying water from above — the best method. Most of Paris is 5 to six stories tall. Which could explain the lack of ladder trucks.

France announces Notre Dame competition to rebuild cathedral’s spire

According to the Washington Post, Phillippe said the competition is designed to give the cathedral ‘a spire adapted to the technologies and challenges of our times.’

I’m worried Macron is going to have the spire be a wind turbine and cover the new roof with solar panels because We only have 11 1/2 years to save the planet!

The people who experienced them die. Those who heard the firsthand accounts from their elders die. Those who want to learn what happened are left with whatever written or spoken histories can be found which has questionable biases and distortions.

That’s changed now, we have recordings and a plethora of histories from different viewpoints and many sources, available with a few clicks. As long as we can keep gatekeepers from censoring “for the greater good”, the upcoming next time for something will see us better prepared to prevent or mitigate it.

      • Doggo

It still requires effort and initiative on somebody’s part to actually study those histories through the efforts to downplay or distort it. It’s much easier to ignore it entirely, especially if you’ve been taught that old, dead guys made no meaningful contributions to human advancement.
