Well, Harvey and Irma didn’t cooperate and hit massive Democrat populations. FL is red, and Houston might be blue, but it’s Texas. All those folks were getting to work rebuilding and repairing, and didn’t have time to be yakking in front of the cameras.

Reminds me of the summer I spent at Clark AB, the Phillipines. A huge typhoon swept accross Mindinau and afterwards they put out a call for donations for relief. Between Clark, and Subic Bay they got 2 C-141 loads of donated clothing and other supplies plus the BX and Commissary kicked in another couple of plain loads/ Abudy of mine sid that before the planes were loaded there were guys runnung around with spray cans and stencils in English and Tagalog painting a message on each pallett. Message read, “Provided by your President, Ferdinand Marcos”. Our guys were not allowed to paint over it.
