Can we just let kaepernick go whirling down the drain of history, to be forgotten, as is only proper?

I haven’t seen Trump-blaming for Las Vegas in news reports so far. Is this coming from the Moonbat Section? They’ll say anything to get attention, y’know. It’s what they live for.

I heard one report that the (now former) senior lawyer at CBS posted on facebook that she didn’t feel at all bad about theshooting, because so many country music fans are gun loving Republicans, and that they would never get it right and deserved it for the children that have been killed (or some strange thing fairly close to that.

Hillary, Shannon Watts and The Brady Campaign are doing their best to “Never let a crisis or tragedy go to waste”. All of them aiming at the NRA which had nothing to do with this event. And all of them, shooting themselves in the foot in the process.

My guess is that Pelosi and Schumer will start ragging on President Trump, his voters and gun owners tomorrow morning.

      From the above article:
“After years of relaxing federal gun laws and multiple failed attempts to pass something — anything — that has the lightest whiff of new restrictions, trust and patience are all but gone. ”
But we have had neither trust nor patience for the left for a long time. We know that their actual agenda is to completely remove all legal weapons from the American people; this will push a few more of the left to blurt that out. They will ignore the ways that their home ground, cities with the policies they advocate, are terribly violent.
      Screw’em.

The Media finally got the Assault Rifle shooting they’ve been looking for for the last 15 years. I hope they’re happy.
Next question: what are they going to try to control? Fully automatic weapons have been illegal since the 1930s. The article linked above says Hillary wants to ban silencers. Silencers?!? Really?!? The perp didn’t have one and didn’t care. He was on full rock -n- roll. On the other hand, I think he had a better grip on reality than either Hillary or Pelosi.

So… armchair quarterbacks occasionally reach reasonable conclusions. Armchair Kaepernicks consistently reach wrong conclusions. Let’s try that on for size. “In an orgy of Monday morning Kaepernicking, the New York times……” I like it.

As this HORRIBLE Las Vegas massacre (is there any other way to refer to it?) takes the place of Puerto Rico in the MSM News cycle, there was at least enough time there to show that that San Juan Mayor was a Hilliarite Leftist! Thank goodness for that BUT the effort for relief for Puerto Rico MUST BE maintained.

As for the LEFTist idiocy about Country Music & Trump Supporters, I’d be inclined to reverse cram it down their throats with a match to the Orlando ‘Pulse Nightclub’ massacre and their patron’s politics. Both places were full of true innocents enjoying their AMERICAN Freedom to assemble (1st A) when murdered in true ‘Cold Blood’. Only difference is that Pulse could have been made better with a little Second Amendment!

I noticed that the CBS hack legal counsel has been canned for her statements made earlier today concerning the folks at the C/W fest. Then, just 12 hours after the shooting, the FBI has deemed the perp innocent of any ties to terrorism. But, after over a year of searching, they still can’t find anything to pin on President Trump. Amazing…….

If the globalist get their way, Kaepernick and his ilk will be venerated like post-modern heroes… Instead, let’s use his name to accurately reflect what he represents… an under-talented overpaid petulant crybaby who wants to blame his lack of success on others rather than his own pathetic underperformance.

So, by that standard, the Hildabeast is a kaepernick, n’est-pas?

The shooter was apparently photographed at an anti-Trump rally, as Chris alludes to, since he was seen wearing a pink pussie shirt and pink pussie hat. Another mass shooting by a Lefty psycho. Seems like almost all of the mass shootings have been by Lefties or muslim scum.

An atrocity like this is seen as a perfect opportunity for Super-Extra Virtue Signaling by the progressives. Which as usual includes demands for enactment of more restrictions on people they hate.

It’s worth noting that they make no such demands re Islamists when a suicide bomb or car bomb is set off in a bazaar or other public place in the Mideast. Apparently that is seen as normal and acceptable; never mind that such bombs can create much higher body counts than seen in LV.

NB; it’s now believed that the film of the killer at an anti-Trump rally was faked. So no, we really DON’T know exactly what was happening with him, other than him being a multimillionaire real estate type who was also a serious gambler, and frequent “guest” at the Mandalay Bay casino. Who also somehow acquired a substantial number of Class III weapons in a very short time without anyone else knowing it- at least, they aren’t admitting they knew about it.

I expect the end result to be more legislation against gun ownership. It fits progressives’ dogmas and dreams of hegemony (including being able to abuse people they dislike with no fear of adverse consequences for themselves), and avoids dealing with problems (like an entire industry devoted to feeding an out-of-control addiction called “gambling”) that they happen to approve of. Rather like they approve of drug dealing, and getting high themselves.

Before anyone equates the gun industry with the gambling industry, which I know somebody will, I would ask; suppose this “troubled” gambler had just set fire to the hotel and casino, or just tried to blow it up? (A considerable amount of explosives and materials for same have been found at his domicile.)

My guess is the result would have been even more people dead- and the progressives commiserating over the “senseless tragedy” rather than trying to make political profit out of it.

The MGM Grand is not in their memory banks.

As for his being a multimillionaire, which apparently facilitated his rampage, expect progressives to demand even higher taxes. on the principle of, “nobody should have any money but us because only we can use it ‘responsibly’.”

Sort of the way they believe only their paid bodyguards should be allowed to possess firearms.

Anyone else notice the similarities between this and the opening scene in Matt Bracken’s Enemies Foreign and Domestic?
Large crowd, shooting, stampede, unlikely patsy that has a vast “aresenal” found at his residence (though his brother thought he owned “a gun or two”). Convenient suicide of said patsy.
This was obviously planned well in advance, executed as a “fish in a barrel “ exercise, with what appears to be a class III weapon in a state where ownership can be legal. The part that doesn’t fit is why would he have so many weapons in the room? No more than a pair would be required and the more brought would increase the odds of being noticed.

Who’s going to be first to call for National firearm confiscation?
Holy Crap! Hitlary was “supposed “ to be president with all her people in place by now. As bad as it is, yes, it could have been far worse.

That very thing occurred to me as soon as I heard that the guy was already dead when the Police entered the room. I don’t suppose it would have been too awfully difficult to plant the arsenal at his residence, either.

Unfortunately, the left controllong the narrative as it does, I very much doubt that we will ever know the truth in this.

Since the SHARE Act was about to pass, they needed to do something like this. The problem being that this makes how many times they’ve run this scenario? Every single time there is about to be a law relaxing gun control, there’s a mass shooting. Hmmmm, baffling. Why would that be?

Aren’t the same people who insist we need more gun laws to fight gun crime the same people who insist we need to pass amnesty for illegal immigrants? So gun laws GOOD/ Immigration laws BAD…got it….More mental masturbation from the loony left.

The facts just never fit their narrative.

    https://mises.org/blog/gun-control-fails-what-happened-england-ireland-and-canada

“The first significant modern gun control law in the UK was the Firearms Act of 1920. The Act abolished what had been up until then an assumed right to carry arms. The Act was likely introduced as an anti-Irish and anti-communist measure, as there was no evidence (then or now) of rising crime at the time. The 1920 act was followed by increasingly restrictive gun control laws in 1937, 1968, and 1988. From the 1950s into the early 2000’s however, the homicide rate grew steadily.”

“Ireland has a long history of highly restrictive gun control laws, many of them justified on the grounds of combating the IRA and similar organizations. Gun control was stepped up in the early 70s when new legislation was introduced, accompanied by a large-scale gun confiscation operation that occurred when police asked for guns to be turned in “temporarily” for inspection. The guns were never returned by police.
Since then, the homicide rate in Ireland has increased significantly, and in recent years, Ireland has adopted numerous additional gun control laws in the face of growing homicide rates.”

You cannot fix evil anymore than you can fix stupid.

HOWEVER, I wonder if anyone on the loony left has ever asked how the crime rate in America, including gun violence has skyrocketed since prayer was removed from school, families were destroyed by welfare, and the general attitude of “if it feels good, do it” took over American society.

    NAHHHH, probably not.

Yes, I have became that grumpy old man my father was…and I am just fine with that.

The country’s going to hell in a handbasket and it’s mostly the left’s fault…there…I said it.

Sorry PR, y’all had your minute in the spotlight.

So what do lefties love more than signaling their virtuous preference for non-US pain and suffering and how we need to forget taking care of ourselves so as to give away our means of doing so to take care of OTUS?

Why dancing in blood of course, and calling for us to give away our means of protecting ourselves from OTUS, and from the lefties themselves.

There’s a line in the movie “Shooter” that goes “we’re good but not that good.” This alludes to the “facts” that come out way to early in a scenario. Number one is why do we know the shooters name unbelievably early in the kinetic nature of the event. What purpose does it serve other than to be a red herring for the press and the sheep to follow.

At this point I’m believing my lying ears. In one of the videos in the “Daily Mail” reporting is the sound of two full auto weapons firing out of synchronicity. This is not an echo of the first. Also the it is pretty easy to figure out from the rate of fire its an AK type. Is it possible that it is a two shooter situation? That it is the perfect set up to promote required mental health checks for purchase plus scuttle the current legislation?

Also all the weapons should be inventoried and their owner history is determined. I’d like to know the path of each weapon. I bet that their is some ‘splaining that needs to be done. This reeks of a horrible crime perpetrated on the citizenry by whom and for what other purpose is still to be determined.

Why all those guns and ammo in the room? To help the narrative that we should not be able to buy weapons? Why as a pilot with his own plane did he not fuel up and go 9/11 if body count was the goal. I like Bracken’s story better and better.

I don’t think you will find, when the facts come out, full auto weapons. Just slide fire type stocks. Probably no AKs or SKS Type carbines. Slide fires slow down the rate of fire on a AR and it sounds like an SKS.

Not the best AR but not bad for budget basic…$450 with free ship and no tax to your FFL, this is what right now might be called a “limited time opportunity”. Add a dozen p-mags and a case of mil-spec 5.56 and that’s a pretty good starter kit for the SHTF being planned by the blood dancers right now.
