Oh, CNN… the sooner your shit-hole service implodes, the better. Good riddance!

    • WayneM

      Oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Chris!!

      • Too Tall

Happy Birthday, and take comfort that to some of us you will always be a youngster.

        • NotYetInACamp

Happy Birthday. Your birthday is bracketed between my younger sister’s and mine.
There was no money left for birthdays after my sister’s birthday.
          I hope you fared better.
May you have many more great birthdays. And several more with our same President in the White House. i had to get political. 🙂

  • The House just voted 405-11 to recognize the Armenian Genocide by Turkey took place. Ilhan Omar voted present and released a statement saying there’s no point if you’re not recognizing all genocides from American slavery to Israel’s ongoing genocide of the Palestinians.

This was followed by voting 403-16 to sanction Turkey for their military incursion into Northern Syria. Ilhan Omar voted present because only Israel deserves sanctions for their ongoing genocide of the Palestinians.

Omar missed the Nobel Peace Prize this year but CNN will now give her many glowing write-ups and interviews as a global champion of peace and human rights.

BTW: Joe Biden’s Latest Pitch to Voters: He Owns a Dog

      • James McEnanly

al-Baghdadi feared no man. Dogs were another matter.

        • More like she knows she’s going down with assorted campaign finance, tax law, and ethics violations, so why not blow up her political career by being the only Democrat voting against sanctioning a NATO ally.

Oh, and I’ve found the best joke of the day from Robert J. O’Neill, former SEAL:

Guess who quit smoking today??? Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi….

  • Kafiroon

Well they are totally committed to their cause.
They were quite happy with the Obama droning American citizens and whomever else happened to be in range of the weapons. Including wedding party guests.

    • GWB

Sorry, but I don’t hold that against 0bama. If a US citizen takes up arms with our actual enemy, he can be killed on the field of battle without recourse to due process. Period.

(I would actually prefer he be ‘droned’ in these days. If he could be captured, you know he would never receive the trial and sentence he should for being a traitor. He’d probably languish in some extra-judicial setup because the people in our ‘elite’ would think it was sticking their neck out to try him. Or they are sympathizers and wouldn’t want to hang one of their own.)

And, if the SoBs in charge of a terror organization, or plotters of attacks happen to be surrounded by people who aren’t appalled by their behavior when the time is tactically correct for a strike, that’s not the fault of the person driving the strike, or the one approving it.

If you don’t want to be collateral damage, then don’t pal around with the guy after he declares war on folks. It sucks for kids, but it’s their parents’ fault, not ours.

      • Kafiroon

I totally agree with all of that.
It’s just cnn was happy with all of what he did.

  • Halley

They use to pretend to be journalists. Now they’re pretending not to be criminal Spygate co-conspirators. We despise them even more than the criminal DC Dims they work as shields for, as they inject their toxic poisons into the national bloodstream 24/7.

  • Bill G

The Democrat Media Complex in action.

  • eon

    Happy Birthday, CM.

    cheers

The third ‘R’ is silent. It’s in the “Republican” part of the word.

  • Bill G

Pfui, my short-term memory sucks these days. Happy Birthday, Chris.

  • Some days I despair for the future, with despicable people such as this in positions of influence. Have a merry birthing day, Squire Chris, may your mind and soul stay as sharp as your characters….

  • PaulS

Wow Chris’ Birthday and I get the present, sahwheet! Happy birthday brother! 🙂

  • Hoosier Native

    Happy birthday, Chris!

  • JohnB

Ditto on the happy birthdays, Chris. My package also arrived yesterday. Thanks!

  • MikeS

Happy Birthday Mr. Muir! I got my DBD bling and already have been asked about it.

As a side note, The VA has finally recognized my PTSD the Psychiatrist said I need a ‘buddy letter’ to get credit for it. So If anyone was in the DMZ around Guard Post Oulette on or about August 28, 1982, I could use your help. As what happens in the DMZ never really happens and there is no paper trail, I didn’t get affected by being a FO at the only live fire base in the Army at the time. My Tours were 79-80 and 81-83.

    Thanks ahead of Time!
Hey, this could make a great story line…

    • Punta Gorda

      Just a note.

Togetherweserved is a good resource to help you reconnect with former ship-mates or soldiers. They feature branch related subsections as well a whole community areas.

“‘Day’ is a vestigial mode of time measurement based on solar cycles. It’s not applicable… I didn’t get you anything.”

    River Tam

Neither did I. I’ll PayPal you a couple of bucks for a Shiner.
    Happy Birthday!

  • Roger

Happy Birthday Chris! Thanks for giving us a gift, day by day!

  • Doggo

Chris, Happy birthday. It’s already been said above in every way I can think of, but my lack of originality shouldn’t be confused with a lack of sincerity. BTW, I received a present from YOU! Seems a little off.

  • Roland Deschain

They have made it pretty clear whose side they are on, civilized people or terrorist scum. They chose the latter. They are literally paying jizya to the muslim terrorists.

  • Kafiroon

Your site is a Present for all of us!
    Happy Birthday!

  • Pamela

    Happy Birthday Chris

  • Please don’t shoot their dogs.

Parents Outraged at Austin’s New Sex-Ed Curriculum That Trains Children to Become LGBT Activists

On Tuesday morning, the Austin Independent School District (ISD) school board approved a radical new sex-education curriculum for grades 3-8 that encourages all kinds of sex at young ages, urges kids to join LGBT “pride” parades, and aims to redefine biological sex and erase the words “mom” and “dad” from children’s vocabulary.

What are the state standards for the home schooled?

  • DonS

    Happy Birthday Chris!
And all y’all, on your birthday, if she’s still among the living, don’t forget to wish your Mom a happy labor day…
    and thank her for EVERYTHING!

  • Pamela

CNN likes to run with scissors

  • Grunt GI

    Dang almost missed it

    Happy Birthday Chris.
Can’t wait to see what the next year holds.

  • Nothing good on, watching “How to Survive” on Weather Channel, learned how to make a fire with corn chips. Narrator just said the family has been stranded for days without food or water. Images show them surrounded by deep snow.

The older you get, the stupider the world gets. Hope you’re planning a good retirement someday, Chris, far away from the idiots.

    • JTC

He even has a place picked out. Might still be some idiots there, but less of them and a lot more solitude, possibly a lot more freedom too.

And DBD can come from anywhere. Well yeah, his heart and his brain, but I was talking more geographical, based on our wistful chat a while back about what the future holds.

Talks that guys of a certain age start to have.
