+1 on the HB Southpaw! I’m a southpaw, too. Most discriminated against minority on the planet. BUT we are the only ones in our right minds. 😉

Trivia note: When Willie Jeff was running against Bush Sr. and Perot, ALL THREE candidates were southpaws.

OC, I’m afraid that little bit of trivia makes the case for LEFT mindedness, I’d be reluctant to cast my lot with that bunch. But I’m sure y’all must qualify for some kind of minority class redistribution benefits. 😉

Keep in mind that as a mystic, The One sees everything going on up there as good.

By his standards, Sweden is the model for what The Radiant Future should look like everywhere. Mystical, “enlightened”, transgressive, and grinding evil materialistic Western values into the dirt.

Which means he is simply a very typical progressive. As is Hillary. As is Bernie. As is Warren, Reid, Pelosi, etc., etc., etc.

I firmly believe that the only reason we have survived this long with this lot in charge is that their ideological, pseudo-Utopian fanaticism is exceeded only by their stupidity. They keep over-reaching and it keeps backfiring.

If Hillary wins, the overreach will attain apocalyptic proportions. Imagine The One with no sense of self-preservation whatever and a belief in a holy mission to create Paradise on Earth no matter what the cost to others. Because revenge, revenge, revenge.

You’d be better off being ruled by some if China’s nuttier Emperors. Like the one who threw people off cliffs for fun, or the one who ordered all books in the empire destroyed and all teachers executed so that “all history may begin with my reign”.

That is probably roughly Hillary’s idea of a “reset button”, too.

“If Hillary wins, the overreach will attain apocalyptic proportions. Imagine The One with no sense of self-preservation whatever and a belief in a holy mission to create Paradise on Earth no matter what the cost to others. Because revenge, revenge, revenge.”

eon, with the commie throwing in with the beast now, we can stop saying “if”…she is now the presumptive nominee and presumptive potus.

The overreach will indeed be apocalyptic and there is no doubt of her belief that history begins with herself, as it might depending on the response to the apocalypse by the resistance; I don’t wish for that but I for one will engage if forced rather than acquiesce.

But it cannot be said that she has no sense of self-preservation, as her belief in her holy mission is inextricable from belief in her unholy self.

And to that end of self-preservation she is taking measured and premeditated steps like this: http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/warren-to-meet-with-clinton-amid-vp-speculation/ar-AAgT35H?li=BBnb7Kz

She absolutely knows that there are few “persons” that patriotic Americans would less likely want sitting on the throne, but that sickening sack of evil shit Warren is one of them. Pretty good, and pretty “smart” insurance.

Indeed, one must have the right hardware to properly utilize the software for its design purpose. There are so many choices these days, but not all are worthy of consideration. A few, a select few, bring out the best in each other. The search is time-consuming and not without much effort, but the rewards can be great. Keep it up and enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Lots of buzz on the west coast today about the 9th circus court of schlemiels overruling of the 2nd amendment. “No right to concealed carry in public”.

And to think Vermont is the place that has this RIGHT (and correct), very strange.

Sounds like a ruling that will not be easily enforced. Can you see the po-po attempting to search EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE (locations AND body AND purses, backpacks, etc) without a hell of a lot of blowback? Someone with a spine, if/when “asked” if they can be searched, is going to say “NO, not without probable cause and/or a warrant. Am I free to go? If I am NOT free to go, am I being detained?” And then the Fan will surely hit the shit.

Ninth Court. . . . (shakes head. does Cpt Picard Double FacePalm)

    • June 10, 2016 at 10:03 am

Ok, I might be a bit of contrarian here, but it appears (appears and I am no lawyer cuz my parents were married) that what these bozos said was no UNLIMITED right to canceled carry….obviously the numerous states that require a permit to carry seem to me will be unaffected since the ruling was to determine if a law that required a permit to canceled carry was constitutional.

But here’s the money quote from this ruling that was in the article I read:

      http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/appeals-court-no-2nd-amendment-right-concealed-carry

“The Second Amendment may or may not protect to some degree a right of a member of the general public to carry a firearm in public. If there is such a right, it is only a right to carry a firearm openly,” the opinion said. “But Plaintiffs do not challenge California’s restrictions on open carry; they challenge only restrictions on concealed carry.”

SO, what the hell, go for an open carry law…that will certainly let the bad guys know who’s packing….it’s the usual contorted liberal ruling to make the Constitution say something it doesn’t say, but HEY, if I was being a Grouchy Historian, I would say the colonists didn’t worry bout no stinkin’ canceled carry, they packed their heat plenty openly.
      🙂

So, everyone go back to open carry like the 1800’s. Let the bad boys see you are heeled. Remember: “An armed society is a POLITE society” (R.A. Heinlein)

I live in San Diego County whos Sheriff was the defendant in the original Peruta lawsuit. A friend of mine is one of the plaintiffs. The issue is whether the Sheriff can require a ‘good cause’ as a requirement for issuing a CCW. Present California law says he may. Self defense alone, absent specific threats, has not been accepted as a valid reason in San Diego County and some other counties. There is no specific definition(s) in the Penal Code of ‘good cause’ so each Sheriff is free to make up his/her standards. The Peruta lawsuit intended to force Sheriffs to issue a CCW without any ‘good cause’ other than self defense. Clean record, no mental health issues, county residency, training and range qualifications all would continue to be required before issuing. The original decision of a three judge panel found for the plaintiffs; the State appealed the decision and got an en banc-all eleven judges- rehearing of the lawsuit. The current decision is the result if that rehearing. I am obviously not an attorney but I believe that this account is accurate. The only way this can now be reversed is in the Supreme Court, if they would even take it. This is one reason that we need an Administration that will appoint someone to the SCOTUS that is not a Liberal.

This has nothing to do with today’s strip.

I just saw on the news that Google might be skewing search results in favor of Hillary.

Because I don’t trust any media news I did a little experiment. I typed “Hillary” in the search box. The results were a page full of positive articles on the Hildebeast. Down near the bottom was a slightly negative article.

Next I type in “Donald”. The very first article is a negative report by USA today claiming that Trump does not pay many of his workers.. The rest of the results were mostly negative.

    Am I surprised? NO.

The 9th Circus is the most overturned court at the SCOTUS level. The ladies of the DDQ should be turned regularly but never overturned.

The problem is that, unless SCROTUS decides to hear a case, what the Ninth decides remains in force. And SCROTUS often refuses to hear – or never even sees, because most folks can’t afford the appeal – the majority of the Ninth’s rulings.
