Wooooahhhhh. What happened to the swimming hole?!?!
    🙁

    • John M.

YEAH! We were supposed to get a week!

      • Something nekkied this way comes

        • Doggo

No disrespect intended, but I’m not sure I want to see anything from Portland. Nor would I want you to go through the horrible experience of drawing it.

    • GWB

At least Jan could have been topless.

    • WayneM

I bet Jan wishes she was at the swimming hole… Or perhaps I’m projecting?

    • I agree, the swimming hole is quite important. But what’s MORE important?

  • Too Tall

Going to need a lot of “Checkpoint Charlies” on the highways leading to major cities.

    • MasterDiver

      Abbattis, minefields, snipers, and claymores.

      Zar Belk!

  • Henry

“Traffic subject to frequent stops next 5 miles.”

  • ExNuke

Democrats have been trying for years to turn their plantations into “Green Zones” for years. It looks like BLM submitted a lower bid than Blackwater. But then they have always rented their votes cheaper than the people who had to pay the rent. I wonder who they are going to tax, when all the normals leave, to pay their mercenaries not to burn down the rest of the city? Trump should look in to how Washington handled the “Whiskey Rebellion” if he is undecided how to handle Portland and others. While the “protesters” are members of the “people”, they are not “the people”, they are in rebellion against society and should be treated as such.

    • Punta Gorda

Dunno. Word is MLS listings are through the roof for bla-bla-bla cities.

Good fucking luck finding a buyer.

    • Randy

Ready to “pay the rent” as long a they accept copper and lead.

    • Dave

After the few “normals” leave Portland, there won’t be anybody left to tax. It’ll basically be Mogadishu, and their leftist wack-job leaders are just fine with that.

      • Then let it fucking fold. No federal assistance, fuck them, it’s ON them.

    • NotYetInACamp

Deport 20 to 30 million plus through constitutional application of the 14th Amendment.

  • Hal Dall MD

Corrected should read: No Climate Deniers or Republicans. No Whites Unless LBGTQ etc.

  • Steveb919

Something I brought up yesterday about Covid 19 made me wonder why were the Chinese even producing the stuff in the first place? Then let it escape? That could be classified as a weapon of mass destruction or germ warfare couldn’t it. Just my brain wondering about this crap that all.

    • TOXIC DASTARDLY DAN

I tried to post something about that topic yesterday, reference to Mike Rowe and a doctor who predicted this years ago. It never went through.

      • Toxic Deplorable Racist SAH B Woodman

Did you try to post a website link?
Something about this site doesn’t like that, and the postings just………disappear. They don’t even go into moderation for CM to approve.

    • GWB

Biologists evidently spend a large portion of their time figuring out these bugs by engineering them to get more virulent or more powerful or whatever – it’s called Growth Of Function research. It supposedly helps them understand the virii better.

Because we couldn’t trust the docs in American research centers anymore to not horribly screw up and send this crap through the mail like it was an Amazon package or something, they outlawed it in America.

So, Faucci financed the Chinese (in Wuhan) to do it. Because, you know, the Chinese are SO much better at safety protocols than American researchers…….

    • Norm

They weren’t “producing” it. It developed in the wild and their “wet markets” and then jumped over to humans. They were studying the animal version in their labs. Once that happened, China restricted in-country travel from Wuhan but allowed international air travel to the rest of the world. THAT’s what they need to be held accountable for.

      • John

The “wet markets” explanation turned out to be yet another official hoax. Covid 19 started in the lab and was “discovered” in the local wet market.

  • Punta Gorda

Purportedly… Pence made a deal wi5h Portland. ALLEGEDLY, the state Police are supposed to take over duty protecting federal property.

Since when have you ever known a Democrat to keep their word?

    • Punta Gorda

      Sucker….

    • interventor

The feds are staying around to ensure they do.

      • John

Even if they do, and the State of Oregon delivers it will be amusing to see what Antifa actually does.
If they spread out into the suburbs before the Oregon state authorities can get a handle on them, Trump will get a Twofer, that is credit for getting Oregon off its commie butts _and_ frightening the erstwhile Hillary voters into reconsidering their voting habits.

  • Kafiroon

I still think the Romans at Masada did it correctly.
They surrounded the plateau and kept them up there.
Then Maybe, the end result will be the same.
with them turning on each other as they are wont to do.

  • Wood

Stop sending the delivery trucks in. Don’t let any of them out. Done.

    • GWB

That was my solution for CHAZ. Well, along with cutting off the electricity, water, and cellphone service.

  • Toxic Deplorable Racist SAH B Woodman

Supposedly states seceeding (sp?) from the Union is A Bad Thing. We have the (un)Civil War (or the War of Northern Agression, as some Southerners would call it) to prove that.
BUT……can the Union kick a state out for “misbehavior”? Obviously and specifically looking at Washington, Oregon, Kalifornication, New York. To be re-admitted only upon changes in “behavior” .
Hmmmmmm……..that might give the people who want to split Kalifornication and Washington into smaller states, getting away from the Big Blue Cities and the “tail wagging the dog”.

    • GWB

Just return them to territory status, since they can’t actually manage a republican form of gov’t. I volunteer to be the territorial governor.

I’ll bring my own paddle ball, even.

    • Old Codger

Secession was only a bad thing ’cause that rat bastard Lincoln was bound and determined to preserve the holy union at any/all cost. FYI, it truly WAS a war of “Northern Aggression” since it was the North which, in fact, WAS the aggressor. The North declared war upon a nation (the CSA) it did not – formally – recognize. The upstart was that the North DID recognize the CSA – at least tacitly – when it either transported or destroyed in place all its military supplies and closed all but two if its military installations.

      • interventor

There was never a formal declaration of war by Congress, as they didn’t wish to recognize the CSA as a nation.

      • GregD

From 1 old codger to another,

You need to calm down! What your writing there is just pure nonsense. Recognizing the CSA as a nation? Bull S#*t!!!

  • Toxic Deplorable Racist SAH B Woodman

That Portland road sign reminds me of my year in Saudi Arabia (96-97). We were approaching Mecca, and had to take the detour route around the city instead of being able to drive through it. (good times……)

  • Well, since the Fed was the one that cut up the Territories then States into the shapes they are, I suppose if one state government wanted to leave, the Fed could carve the State up and give it to other states. The citizens could then execute their right and privilege to move someplace they wanted to live in. The state would not exist and the Fed still owns the land. It is just part of another.

    • John

Not a half bad idea in the case of the People’s Democratic Republic of California. One proposal is to chop it up into at least five different states. The Democrats think they will get more leverage in Washington with eight more Senators, but I think that is remarkably short sighted considering just how concentrated the Blue counties are.

  • interventor

The military have an old Oplan to deal with secessionist Democrat governors — Reconstruction.

    • MAJ Arkay

As one of those plans officers, I can state flat out that “reconstruction” is not in our plans panoply and has not been since the Posse Comitatus Act was passed in 1878.

Trying to make the US military out to be the heavy boots in this situation is what the lefty progs do. It ain’t funny, not one little bit.

      • interventor

The plan still exists in the Office of the Chief of Military History archives.

    • JTC

Notwithstanding the irrelevance of the former conflict to this one, the operative word is Deconstruction.

    • John

We must keep in mind that self-hatred is a hallmark of the White Left. It’s why they jump from one Cause Celeb to the next with such zeal. They have to concentrate on things other than their internal faults (something those of us steeped in the Judaeo Cristian tradition know we have to grapple with) to pretend they are “superior”.

      • John

John … you hit upon something that op-ed writer Sarah Hoyt really crystallized clearly in her recent column at PJMedia. She really delves into the mythos of Marxism, socialism, communism, fascism, the Jacobins and Hegelians, and/or any other collectivist ideologies.

        Here is a portion of Hoyt’s c0lumn …

“The myth goes like this: in the beginning, there was no capitalism (the cult’s quaint name for any free buying and selling or trade. (This is why they call monarchies capitalism or private property.) This was the dawn of man, the perfect state of humanity.

Because there was no property there was no envy and no crime. Man (and particularly woman) lived in a time of innocence. In this perfect utopia – feminist version – women ruled, sex was free, babies were brought up communally, and every woman could do as she pleased. In the racial version, the poor now-oppressed race were the rulers, and therefore there was no property, etc., etc. No crime.

But then the serpent evil white race showed up. Or males rebelled. Whatever. Because, you know they didn’t like paradise. And they instituted private property and “capitalism” and since then there’s been this great struggle by the good to overturn the evil. In the end, the good prevails, they confiscate and redistribute all private property and reeducate the people maimed by living under the unjust capitalist system and we go back to living in a utopia.

The liniments of the story should sound familiar if you come from a Judeo-Christian background. It’s the story of creation, fall, and eventual world-redemption, only stripped of a creator, any power superior to the Kommissars and the idea of personal redemption. In fact, in this heresy the individual doesn’t matter at all, only the group he belongs to.”

  • Browncoat

Southbound on I-5? Evacing Seattle or just relocating expecting more… ‘freedom’… to burn, loot and pillage?

  • Halley

The Road Never Before Travelled is the one where the Democrats are finally exposed for what they really are, and held accountable for the destruction as well as the crimes. Let’s hope we reach that destination in 2020 before it’s too late.

  • NotYetInACamp

Well! I soitainly am NOT allowed in that city.

  • Roger

I’m a 4th generation Oregonian, and it makes me sick to see how quickly Oregon has changed in just the time I’ve been alive. I watched a documentary about the Portland area during WWII and back then the city rejected government plans for housing all the shipyard workers that would be moving in from out of state. Because it smacked of socialism! There were plenty of other examples that showed Portland and Oregon were actually extremely conservative. 80 years later a beautiful state, that was once full of farmers, ranchers, loggers and fishermen, is now full of entitled commies. Fortunately, I live in a rural area 200 miles from Portland… but even here the tentacles, of those spoiled children, reach out to attempt to bring anarchy.

    • JRC

Everything you just wrote could have been by Pamela about her family’s homeland Cali. More expected there maybe until you look st a 2016 county by county red/blue map. The majority there are held in bondage, in every sense of the word.

  • CuriousB

Trump again showed his mastery of trolling the adversaries. Today he tweeted that since mail in balloting would be a cluster, shouldn’t we delay the election until everyone can physically vote in person? Oh my God, you could see the heads exploding into flames all over the place.
