Can’t feel bad for her; it was there in the open for so long.

But I’d fix her a hot cocoa to make her feel better.

Really, CM, if I did not come here I might not know that as usual, the dumbocraps are trying every trick in the book to stifle us.

    Thanks for the heads up.

Now I owe you cookies or something.

Delilah you send him cookies and I will send a bottle of my vanilla made with Dewars White Label.

    • October 28, 2017 at 11:20 pm

If D and P are passing out cookies and such, no doubt they’d put Oreos and milk to shame. But if you’ve seen the new commercial for them with the father and daughter stargazers and heard that sweet raw soundtrack song? My sweetie loves the commercial and the song so I dug around a little, and it doesn’t get much sweeter than this:

Sorry for the offshoot CM, but as we discuss the foul flavor of so much of life today, it’s good to savor something sweet and simple.

May many more like Jan here, start to use them.

      Propaganda resquires “The Human Element”.

The Lame Stream Media’s “News” and always wrong “Polls” have no effect if you neither care nor listen.

Which roughly translates into that entity and its parent corporation, the DNC spending itself poor and destroying itself as President Trump and VP Pence enter another term in 2020.

The is a scene in a movie where Mr. Hyde does something so vile that even his dog deserts him. Everybody is demanding that PDT act….
He is letting the Truth Play out there in the Blue Lands, thereby
catching the conscience of the honest (or at least fearful) Blue voters.
This has to stop, they are thinking; I might be next.

What a fair number of our “rulers” need right now is a strenuous application of the “vertical hold” feature. Sadly, remotes were never equipped with that.

The Democrats have for so long maintained the facades and illusions that all that they supported was good. Many that they have duped really do believe that they are doing right. There is great evil at the top of the Establishment Democrats and Republicans. Individuals vary slightly.
The great lies. I crushed Bill Ayers in argument on people joining him to do violence to change America by saying that truth is something that needed to be developed slowly and people educated into truth and the good. That it would take a long while to educate the people and that is was a long slow process. He went on and was a terrorist without adding anyone from my university, as far as I knew. What I did not realize was that they would go on and pervert the truth, teach lies and delusion, adopt Alinski’s Rules For Radicals which was new or not yet out, and generally follow the Gruber path of lies and deception to con the American voters. I sensed and discussed the invasions with some who supported it back then, but, as a child seeing such as G Edward Griffin on TV, I was too lax in thinking that such people had control of how our government developed. Foreign Affairs and a mass of reading that actually offered all of the options available to the world and nation actually misled me into thinking that people with morals and good intentions would use the options available to make the right ones that would help empower people, and not global tyrannical control.
I do not blame her the bad decisions that she made. I still communicate with men and women that I know who have good intentions, but are so wrong as to reality. One couple that I know in Brooklyn said that I was the only person that they knew who was going to and then did vote for President Trump. They said that I was the only Republican that they would invite into their home for dinner. As I don’t go to NYC, It likely won’t happen soon.
It is still a very slow process to convince people of good heart that they are so wrong. Sometimes it never happens. Sometimes they just cannot leave the comfort of their beliefs. Their feelings are very important to them. They want to feel that they are good people. As does the lady who feels remote.

Sounds like he followed your advice precisely. It simply depends on what the meaning of “truth” is.

My view is nearly the opposite; Truth is fact based and can be learned quickly as long as the student is objective and is also taught critical thinking skills.

Often the things these people believe are so oxymoronic that one would think it would be impossible to believe, I.e. It’s okay to kill a completely innocent human being, but killing a laboriously proven murderer is wrong. I’m sure many other examples come to mind, and if they don’t, just listen to them for awhile and try to reconcile what is being said.

      • October 28, 2017 at 11:32 am

Objectivity and critical thinking on the part of people who have been inundated and inoculated by every virtue-signaling educator, entertainer, and news reader they’ve ever been exposed to?

No, NYIAC is right, truth is a process that has to play out and manifest itself in your own backyard. We just have to hope that we and the Republic survive long enough for that to happen.

Jan and Skye are perfect examples that it can happen in cyberspace, and I am seeing it happen -slowly- here in meatspace too.

That is a thought that I painfully considered when I saw him on video speaking about what he had done over time when he made a public appearance at an early Black Lives Matter demonstration in Chicago that garnered a lot of press when they were trying to ramp up BLM efforts on a wider scale after Ferguson.
You have a point. He only adopted that teaching lies long term after the killing terrorism was stopped and after many of his fellow terrorists died when the bombs they prepared for US non commissioned officers dance and then for the medical and police response blew up in their apartment and killed them. The FBI violated search and 4th Amendment rules and his case was thrown out. His wife spent years in the federal pen, way before he and his wife hosted Barrack Hussein Obama’s first State Senate fundraiser in Ayer’s home in Chicago. Small world.
But in Post Modernism truth has no meaning, it seems. Critical Theory that has been poured into the children’s minds means destroying all that is so the “real truth” will have the opportunity for the perfect society to spring forth – and all such garbage and any means necessary garbage the communists, progressives and Alinsky followers spout.
It actually requires a mind that can use logic and that understands reality for truth to be learned quickly. (Caution: many have used that to slip in falsehood as the oxymoron statements will show)

The strength of falsehood is seen in how these untrue movements can spread. Destruction is easy. The Islam that sprang out of the Arabian Peninsula and gutted Classic Western Civilization and almost conquered Europe within 175 years was based on using whatever means were available and necessary. Throw in making the vices man has being allowed by a god, or critical theory, and you get quick massive destructive conquests.
Truth can be quick, but often takes much time to develop. People’s minds must be ready to understand new concepts. that is why generations often are needed for some new concepts. But truth remains eternal. Seeing truth is individual.
        Good thoughts PaulS and JTC.

We create civilization one child at a time.
The true source of sanity in Western Civilization will be the reinstatement of logic and rhetoric in the school curriculum.
Granted, not all will be up to the task, just as we fail to make Readin’, ‘Rittin’, an’ ‘Rithmatic universal, Reasoning will not be found in all the citizenry, but it beats nothing at all.

I’m going to take the center lane in this: the whole Russia+Trump business started by the dumbocraps during the campaign season last year has now turned into a conspiracy between shrillary and Uranium One, a now-wholly-owned subsidiary of Putin’s Rosatom mining company.
When shrillary sat in the State Dept. group that had the approve/disapprove power for this kind of contract, she was one of NINE people who had the right to approve the deal or disapprove it. My understanding of that approval process was that only one “NO” vote could have killed the deal/contract, and she could have voted ‘NO”.
    With me so far? Okay.
Uranium One was at the time partly owned by Rosatom and is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rosatom in Canada. It can mine 20% of our uranium ore, which is processed in Canada AS LONG AS AN APPROVED LICENSE TO MOVE IT THERE IS IN PLACE. Once it is processed into pellets, it goes to nuclear power plants in this country. It’s not that we don’t have a nukes program. WE just don’t test missiles that way any more.

Now, we have to ask why, when Russia has a higher level of uranium ore assets itself, it would need a contract to mine and process US uranium, and also, why we aren’t doing that ourselves. Rosatom is a state-owned Russian company. It produces 500,000 tonnes of uranium ore per year in Russia alone.

The reality of it is that the entire bastion of environmentalists, greenbeans, lefties and whatever other moonbat twits there are on the left side of the political fence put a stop to the US doing that on our own soil because CHERNOBYL!!!!!!!

And just so you know, yesterday, people living in Siberia were out in the street shooting pictures of a weird glowing ball of fire in the night sky, which was a missile test, the launch of a Topol-M intercontinental ballistic missile from Plesetsk cosmodrome aimed at the Kura testing range in Kamchatka on the country’s Pacific coast. You’d have to ask if Vlad is testing those to show off and paw the ground and snort, or if he’s up to something else. Knowing what I do about what little I’ve found about him, I’d say he’s up to something. But that’s just me. His lovely new mansion on a hill overlooking the Black Sea has an entrance that makes it quite clear that the building is hiding a fallout shelter.

So if you want to blame what is going on now in the world on shrillary, please do so. One “no” vote on her part on that contract could have stopped it. It’s just that there is no real conspiracy, but her greed for power and money have put the rest of us in danger. I despise her with every molecule I have, but one of these days, she will just go belly up and we’ll be rid of her.

Thanks for letting me post this, Chris.

Watching the MSM attempt to cover up and minimize the reality of how crooked the Clinton Machine really is, while at the same time feebly trying to prop up the fake Russian Interference Hoax, is saddening and maddening. They really are – ALL of them – just the propaganda arm of the DNC.

Well, all the libtards are drooling all over themselves waiting on Mueller to frog-march Trump out of the White House on Monday.

I hope they heads don’t explode much when that doesn’t happen. Mueller will pick off some small fish like maybe Manafort and Flynn to justify the millions wasted on this witch hunt.

Hell, who knows he may indict ol’ Podesta’s brother too, just to balance the scales. I don’t see any obstruction of justice by Trump as the star chamber investigation is continuing and I don’t think ol’ Bob wants to shine too much light on his protege’s incompetence or corruption or both.

We shall see….gonna be another interesting soap opera here around the Beltway.

I can sympathize with Jan. I grew up in a Democratic household in Massachusetts in the 70s. This was when the Democrats stood for The Working Man and Family. And I might have been a Democrat still, except as has been said by others, “I didn’t leave them, they left me.” (don’t remember who said that).
By fortuitous circumstance, and history, I was able to change my thinking from Democrat, to Republican, to Conservative.

“What a long strange trip it’s been”.
