Before you all get too antsy about Sessions, you need to remember a brief moment in time when Obama’s AG Loretta Lynch hung herself out to dry when she started to act on a petition to prosecute people who disagreed with the current Whizbanger notion that global warming is a threat to civilization.
If you will recall, it was a letter asking her to prosecute anyone who disagreed with CAGW under the RICO Act. It was generated by a greedy, grant money-sucking jerk at George Mason University in Virginia, who saw his grant money going out the window. That’s a couple million a year (half the actual grant goes to the school) plus his salary, his wife’s salary and his daughter’s salary. He hosed nineteen other fellow scientists into signing that petition, without letting them know what he was really up to.
So Loretta Lynch (love that last name!) started to do just that, until – wait for it – she was informed that the guy who started it had coerced those 19 others into signing that letter. OOOOPPSSSS!
That meant that Loretta had to pull back, apologize to anyone she had threatened, and prosecute (meaning persecute) the grant-greedy perfesser under the RICO Act. It also meant she didn’t get to have the glory of hanging anyone except the guy who started it.
So if Sessions is moving too slowly for you guys, you must realize that he does work in a cesspit. Throw him a bone. If things don’t change (which takes time) he’ll get shown the door.
