In this context, it should probably read “…shot our dogs, burnt our children….”

I figure AR2.0/CW2.0 is at most 5 years down the road after Trump moves out of DC – Unless Pence follows him like Bush Sr. did Uncle Ronald. In that case it will be no more than 5 years after Pence moves out. I have about 11 years left on the battery in my pacer after which I don’t know if I’ll get a 2nd replacement. So I probably won’t live to see it. Death just might be a blessing. I don’t expect the time of AR2.0 is gonna be any picnic for you younger, healthier folks. Might not be a bad idea to look into prepping. Whatcha think?

If’ins you think you will not be here, maybe do a little prepping anyway and if you need too you could leave it to someone else. Even if you don’t think you will be there fix up a little for the grandkids or a neighbor on your block. Decide who gets the guns now.

The guns I have already decided about. Actually starting on collecting dome supplies. Got almost 1,000 for the FNAR now figure to double that. Want several krds for the .22LR – equally valuable for small game (and feral dogs) and barter goods. I’m working on it. My son is 800 miles away but daughter and g’kids here. Will also stock dried herbs and spices. I figure somebody’s gonna be willing to give up something for black pepper on their eggs or ground cinnamon or other things that don’t grow in this hemisphere.

At my age, prepping is not a major concern — a couple of months in canned goods and a few freeze dried items. I would suggest soap for those planning long term. Its a very necessary item for hygiene and hard to make from scratch. Best bet — Ivory soap. I remember grands using it for baths, washing clothes and dishes — just shave off some for the latter two.

I think the police now have license plate scanners that can instantly flag suspect vehicles. Facial recognition is getting better and cameras are everywhere, including in cell phones where they can be turned on remotely. Technology as used in airport full-body scanners can see right through disguises. The package may arrive at your door in nondescript packaging but the shipping companies know what company it was shipped from.

It’s only a lack of processing power keeping everyone from being tracked, all the pictures and posts on social media analyzed to build relationship trees, little traces you never knew about pointing right to you. And the computers keep getting faster. But also great computing power is already directed at us, learning our browsing habits, offering certain ads to influence our buying, suggesting certain stories and sites, predicting our decisions.

Then when it gets to the point the truly secretive elite know they’re in control and can make us do whatever they want in ways we don’t realize, just before the machines realize society runs smoother when they likewise control the elite… They’ll probably just humor us. Americans in general are more comfortable thinking they can fight back if they have to? Sure, that works, whatever keeps them content.

It was once said that the old Soviet Union would be most dangerous when its leaders were convinced that they could get away with anything.

That time was 1979-80, and the result was Afghanistan, followed by the dissolution of the Soviet Union a decade later.

Our enlightened elite’ believed they could get away with anything when The Self-Exalted One became President and even got re-elected. Today, they still believe that in spite of mounting evidence to the contrary worldwide.

It will continue until they do something so blatantly stupid that nobody else can tolerate it, and they respond to everyone else’s objections with what amounts to “Obey us or die”.

And believe that their imported Janissaries will “take care” of the peasants’ intransigence for them.

France right now is just a preview. The show won’t be over soon.

That “secretive elite” is something I’ve pondered on a bit…I do know the O and the Beast and their replacements are not pulling the strings but rather having theirs pulled. By who or what?

Maybe you hit on it; the hidden godhead that thinks it is the ultimate is setting its ownself up to have its slave machines commit the ultimate mutiny? Who knows?

Poetic justice maybe, but I would think that would be a good time for the Big Man Upstairs to step in and end this insanity.

I think the answer, or at least a partial answer, is something Adam Smith observed in the 18th Century. He called it “rent seeking”, that is the tendency for established money to further itself by buying influence over the government.
In other words corruption by way of the law.
In a myopic way this is perfectly rational and takes advantage of the fact that elderly politicians know _they_ will never suffer the consequences of their perfidy.
The corruption spans political lines, and note that the oft ballyhooed Democratic Party Vote Plantation is run by by people who boast a net worth upward of eight digits.
My remedy to the rent seeking problem is to change the Constitution to reflect the woes of the taxpayer in addition to the already well established “Will of the People”.
Elect Senators by way of the taxpayers in proportion to taxes paid.
Note that the “1%” is just that and is fond of avoiding taxes, while, at least in terms of the income tax, 50% of us have to shell out.

  • December 16, 2018 at 1:08 am

At my age? It is a good day to die, as my forefathers have said. I’ll be out there until I can no more, and I’m well trained in the art. So long as I can, I will support and defend The Constitution.

But I’m still thinking there is far more to this than meets the eye.

Just like King George, such people will not care, nor modify their behavior, by what you say, no matter how loudly or in what numbers you say it. They will only pay attention to what you DO.

So defy them. Resist their laws. Evade them. Smuggle in what they command you not to have. Only by our ACTS will they be impressed. Then, if they mean to have a civil war, they will at least have been informed of the unintended consequences of their tyrannical actions. Again I say —

Defy. Resist. Evade. Smuggle. If you wish to stay free and to pass down that freedom to your children’s children you can do no less than to become the lawbreakers that they have unconstitutionally made of you. Accept that fact. Embrace it. And resolve to be the very best, most successful lawbreakers you can be. —-Mike Vanderboegh, in CT on 4/20/13

Nobody else is buying their Intersectional Claptrap when they find out what is really going on and the Internet is presently undergoing a rebellion against the SJW controllers in Silicon Valley.

And last but not least, a section with thoughtful comments following the cartoon panels.

What I see happening now in this country (and many places in the world today) is a country and a people that have lost their way, and have assumed that the good life is a right they are entitled to. Well it is not. Every generation is part of an unwritten covenant to pass on the values and infrastructure to future generations. i.e., an nation of givers, vs a nation of takers. That is not sustainable if we are a nation of takers.

Well, we are going to have to learn the hard way, I guess. That means it may collapse before it gets better. We hope for the best and plan for the worst. The cautious optimist says that it will get better. But I do believe that we will face a period of hard times and conflict before it gets better. Also there will be casualties. The congress is worthless. The govt are parasites. Since we cannot control govt, it must go through like the course of a disease. We must take care of our families, our true friends and ourselves now and beyond.

Hi folks. There is a book with an unusual title that I recommend:
Trump and a Post-Truth World”, by Ken Wilber.
It explains why and how Donald got elected President.
The way it happened is really surprising!
Free ebook download available in the Site, below:
    :
    https://mindfulnessexercises.com/trump-post-truth-world/
    :
    Quote:
It is the ethnocentric crowd that, in addition to being the primary level of
attraction, has perhaps the most number of other variables working in
favor of their activation: their race, their sex, technological currents,
governmental drivers, economic factors, cultural resentment. Trump’s
success has most often been attributed to a great while male underclass.
While that is only one factor, and a big one, it is nevertheless only part of
the overall picture. But it’s true that this class has been stereotyped in
especially nasty ways by the elite—primarily by the green leading-edge.
They are everything that Hillary Clinton meant when she tellingly called
Trump’s supporters “a basket of deplorables.” This group is viewed as the
single, great, rednecked, oafish, uneducated, gigantic instigator of
oppression of all minorities. This large white lower class somehow has
oppressed and disenfranchised African-Americans, women, gays and
lesbians, “real” foreigners (like Mexicans, not like the Irish or Germans),
and they are said to loathe and hate anybody not of their race, sex, blood,
origins, or creed. We’ll address whether that is true or not in a moment,
but it is true that this “underclass” (white, male, lower education, lower
class, rural) group did indeed vote for Trump in a big way. The massive
resentment that they had developed, the anger at being looked at by the
leading elites as “deplorables” (which the elite most certainly did), was a
festering sore spot which Trump’s every anti-green salvo tended to soothe
mightily. They loved Trump for this, and even with many of them feeling
he was “unqualifed,” “misogynistic,” or even “unstable,” they voted for
    him en masse.
    Unquote.
