    It is poetic…

I did not see the GHLB coming.

    Question:

BTW, ours is DDQ, always has been.

Just cant’t beat it; descriptive, succinct, and evocative

Checks all the right promo boxes, makes you wonder who or what tf is running what used to be called Madison Avenue anymore,..where does that stupid shit that you can’t even tell wtf it’s about come from?

Don’t have to wonder about the DDQ.

Cut the tether to that bag of hot air and give the good folks at Laughlin Air Force Base a call. Tell ’em you’ve got a moving target floating just outside of town that would be perfect target practice for their Undergraduate Pilot Training program. And while they’re at it they can shoot down the balloon too.

Could be worse, could be pizza…road pizza
The rumour that Google bought Pizza Hut is wrong but if it did…

    – Hello, Pizza Hut?
    – No sir it’s Google pizza.

    – So it’s a wrong number? Sorry
    – No sir, Google bought it.

    – OK. Take my order please
    – Well sir, you want the usual?

    – The usual? You know me?
    – According to our caller ID data sheet, in the last 12 times, you ordered pizza with cheese, sausage, thick crust.

    – OK! This is it …
    – May I suggest to you this time ricotta, arugula with dry tomato.?

    – What? I hate vegetables.
    – Your cholesterol is not good, sir.

    – How do you know?
    – We crossed the number of your fixed line with your name, through the subscribers guide.
We have the result of your blood tests for the last 7 years.

    – Okay, but I do not want this pizza!,I already take medicine …
-Excuse me, but you have not taken the medicine regularly, from our commercial database, 4 months ago, you only purchased a box with 30 cholesterol tablets at Drugsale Network.

    – I bought more from another drugstore.
    – It’s not showing on your credit card statement

    – I paid in cash
    – But you did not withdraw that much cash according to your bank statement

    – I have have other sources of cash
    – This is not showing as per you last Tax form unless you bought them from an undeclared income source.

    -WHAT THE HELL?
    – I’m sorry, sir, we use such information only with the intention of helping you.

    – Enough! I’m sick of google, facebook, twitter, WhatsApp. I’m going to an Island without internet, cable TV, where there is no cell phone line and no one to watch me or spy on me

    – I understand sir but you need to renew your passport first as it has expired 5 weeks ago

      LIKE!

In 2007, my wife and I wanted to rent a house on North Padre Island, just south of Corpus Christi, Texas.

When I did the online lease application, ‘it’ wanted to verify who I was by giving me different lists of things, and I had to select the answer that was true or applicable.

One of the lists was five different addresses, and I had to select the one where I had previously lived.

The correct address was a house my grandparents had rented, when my mother and I had lived with them when I was about four years old, around 1960-ish.

The ONLY time I had ever, consciously listed that address was in 1987, when I had applied for a pipefitter position at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in 1987 and applied for a DOD security clearance. I was required list every place I had lived since birth.

Information on a Federal DOD document had found its way onto a commercial property management site.

I’ve determined that the data in those sorts of validation forms come from financial documents. It’s more likely that you listed that address on an application for a bank account, home mortgage, direct deposit arrangement, etc., than that they lifted it from federal data.

I am plagued by their insistence on archiving a cell phone number I had for about six months in 1998 and promptly forgot. They ask me to pick from a list of my old phone numbers, and I don’t remember ANY of them because the one I’m supposed to recognize is that one. I actually had to save it in my phone’s contact card for myself so I could look it up whenever I had to take that quiz.

The first time I updated my clearance after my father died, they asked for his current address, not his last address but his current one, so I put down Glenville Cemetery, plot XXXX..it came back of course wanting his last address as expected, but they did change the form to add a ‘last address if deceased’ space 🙂 Odd, I didn’t think I’d be the first to do that…or maybe I was just the latest and it was just the straw that broke the camel’s back so they fixed it 🙂

I told that one to tell this one…years later, I started getting spam ads inviting me to ‘check out retirement properties for sale near you in Glenville’…there is no town or village of Glenville and as far as I know there never has been, it’s just the name of a cemetary…far outside of any town…in a glen…I doubt the spammers, who most likely don’t speak english anyway, have any idea what they did 🙂

First storm and that GHLB-loon gonna go for a wander.
Over Teeter- might be a liberal come to god moment when they see the Mayor’s undercarriage.
Then towards an AFB – where a Nader is Nope-ing out after seeing it up close.
Then it lands in Muslim city, cable tying around minaret as if pole dancing.
Radar flight pathing makes a suggestive outline. Making one think it was piloted.
When no one’s looking, the GHLB-loon giggles.
