      Like Minerva Long?

  • Pamela

ER Sam, keep the top. Any other females voting in your area might be upset and vote for your opponent instead.

I would vote for her in a heartbeat. With or without the top.
Wish Florida would go back to open carry, in more ways than one.

or as they say on Masked Singer:

    “Take it off!”

And by removing her top, she goes from Red, White & Blue, to Bonnie Blue. There’s something symbolic there somewhere.

    • RapidRobert

Not really. She’s still Red, White & Blue. It’s just shifted a mite.

    • MasterDiver

      Lone Star State!

      Now THAT’S Transparency!

      Zar Belk!

I think I need one of those. Um, the flag that is. It is from about 1810 when it was used to represent the Republic of West Florida also.

  • AngryWhiteMaleChauvanistNeanderthalRightwingExtremist PaulS

Oh my! The lone star of Texas! 🙂

  • Steve S

In this case I AM voting for ‘concealed carry’. It is CRYSTAL CLEAR that she has GOT IT, so no need to flaunt it! RA Heinlein [Notebooks of Lazarus Long] “Darling, a true lady takes off her dignity with her clothes and does her whorish best. At other times you can be as modest and dignified as your persona requires.” In this case specifically, Sam, in near full exposure, stands to unnecessarily lose votes from the jealous, offended and others. My opinion!

  • Dread

The eyes of Texas are upon… um, about to bludge from their sockets! If they can be pryed from their locked REAR position. And what a rear! Now that’s FINE art!

  • Arkay

Well, that’s cute and all, but in the real world a campaign photo of those unconcealed will just piss off all the prudes, make the less endowed highly jealous, and guarantee she’ll lose.

Guns with bullets unconcealed are one thing; those spectacular guns are another entirely. Makes no sense, but there it is.

  • TreHammer

Drop the top, indeed. And I don’t mean on the convertible. Oof!

  • DogByte6RER

    Q. But where does she store the extra magazine?

    A. In her magazine pouch … of course.

    • steveb919

Chris, Having read the whole article there is a big mistake in paragraph 3 “The dispute between Lincoln and Pickens that led to the attack on Fort Sumter was not simply a political struggle. Ultimately, it was a question of whether we would be a nation for free citizens or one that held men and women in bondage”. Bullshit, Lincoln never even mentioned slavery until about the last half of the war to gain support from the North. Support was waning at that point for the war and getting worse. Check the date of the Emancipation Proclamation. 01/01/1863. The South never wanted to rule the North they just wanted to be left alone.

      Otherwise the article was OK.

    • JTC

Without a doubt one of the most tone-deaf parallels ever drawn between the old civil war and the new one.

Lincoln (the First Rino) was the pattern on which the Leftist agenda is based, and the article makes many salient points and proofs of it, while naively confusing the true causes of what was then a battle of North and South with the battle that is now Left and Right.

Lincoln was Obama’s mentor and his muse, and his government-by-force tactics couched within cruel and deceitful justifications for waging genocidal war on fellow Americans are exactly the ones used now.

    Actually, they don’t say that.

Minerva Long was small-breasted. From “Time Enough for Love”:

“Justin Foote liked what he saw—a tall, slender young woman with an erect carriage, a small, firm bust, long chestnut hair worn in a part and brushed straight down, a sober, intelligent face, handsome rather than pretty, but which blossomed into beauty each time she gave one of her quick smiles.”
