Sam, tell you what. I’LL cook, and YOU do the dishes. I’m an advanced non-cook, but I think even I could do better than you. (I just need to find and read the recipes first) At least I won’t launch the turkey into orbit, or even into the barn.

Speaking of non-cooks. My wife is in the other room cussing herself for peeling a pan of potatoes and then accidently throwing them into the trash.

June had respect and pride for herself, her home, and her family. She wasn’t afraid to show it, either.

You know, Ozzie didn’t actually have a job. Harriet must have had some cash.
Ward Cleaver worked for a trust company and drove a Plymouth.
Donna Stone was married to Alex Stone, a pediatrician.
And Steven Douglas raised his three sons with the help of his father-in=law Bub O’Casey, and later his hard-nosed brother Charlie.
And Jim Anderson was an insurance agent. I never did believe he “always knew best” but then, he turned into Marcus Welby, MD, later on, so maybe Margaret booted him out of the house. 🙂

Ozzie was a band director. The band performed at a large hotel on radio. That was in the first episode. He never was portrayed there again — just coming home from work.

Having too “Naomi’s” around is simply bad-ass. Woe to the idiot that would be on the nuclear receiving end of messing with this family.

@Badger, I think Jo is wearing a Sam shell, but with Naomi’s imperatives.
I found that when I asked and was told about family history, that oddly made up families arent just a modern convention. Its pretty much always been that way, except during the June Cleaver age which was only propaganda. America never existed that way.

“Ward, you were a little hard on the beaver last night”…..that could be appropriate in this continuing saga….

Well, she’s the one prancing around in heels all the time, it could be argued that she was inviting the activity.

Let me rephrase that… “inviting the attention” heels don’t specifically invite copulation.
