Interesting turn of events. Apparently, Tyler is a happy, well-adjusted trans person who is up front about his/her situation. My tolerance level has increased as my years have advanced. I hope that I would extend the same consideration to Tyler that I accord to my gay and liberal friends. If we share the same basic values, then we can be friends without obsessing on our differences.

Agreed. There’s nothing wrong with being truly trans. Kaitlin Jenner is an example.

Unfortunately the “You have to watch me naked in your dressing room” or “You have to let me beat you on sports” or “You have to let me trans your child” people ruin it for the reasonable ones.

For a woman my age I am unusually tall. Pseudo-men are generally short with somewhat reedy voices. But, standing in a small group discussing usual social trivia and his work making jewelry a pseudo-man can project confident manhood and seem to loom over me even as I look down on him, Don’t scoff. This is a real thing. I think a lot of his “presence” came from his quiet settled confidence about who and what he was.

    An unusual dream sequence.
A young person who is not mentally ill, is well adjusted to their trans-ness, is not angry, and is not pushing an agenda.
    A “rara avis” indeed.
I’m not sure that i would make (him?) a regular out at the Double D, but maybe have (him?) pop up from time to time so we can follow (his?) progress in life.
