The other journalists should demand the removal of Jim “Look At ME” Acosta since he is clearly not a “value added contribution” to the WH Press Corps.

    • eon

I suspect most of them admire him for “speaking truth to power” in their idiom.

To most of the audience, a more likely explanation is that he’s there to make the rest of them look somewhat less moronic. And that takes some doing.

Wonder what the reaction would be if PDJT started using his given name: Abelio. He’s a Hispanic-hating Cuban-American; his parents are ex-pats – and staunch Conservatives . . .

      • Heck of a plan!

  • Punta Gorda

In “Rock, Paper, Scissors,” he always brings a potato.

Yeah. And he wears the label “I-da-ho.”

The DMC; the Democrat Media Complex. They can now be considered Chinese functionaries. Anything to get rid of the Bad Orange Man.
      Bah!

      • John

I long wondered why DJT only became “racist” the moment he announced his run for the presidency.
Now considering the events surrounding the CCP virus all has become clear. DJT was down on the ChiComs for a long time before his announcement because of their corruption of the Corporate Elite using wage slave money as bribes. Those bribes were targeted to cripple any US ability to retaliate against Beijing. And now we find that same Corporate Elite, who owns almost all of the national news media, is taking their talking points from Beijing and has apparently been doing so all along.

  • Paladin

Yellow Journalism never went away. They just got rid of the opposition. Now it all one sided.

    • Bill G

Which is the way they like it. And it’s why they’ve fought against talk radio and want to strangle conservative voices on the web.

  • Bill G

We need to keep reminding folks that if they liked their temporary subscription to socialism, they should vote the democrat ticket come November. But if they didn’t care for empty stores. restaurants, and travel restrictions, they should never vote (D) again.

    • JTC

      “Temporary subscription to socialism”

Excellent, as succinctly and accurately as I have ever see it put.

      • Bill G

Yeah, I thought so to. I wish I could remember who I stole, er, borrowed it from to credit them with it.

Yeah. Next we’ll hear of a reporter being sequestered in a basement closet while Bad Orange Man talks upstairs … oh, wait … that happened under the Holy O.

  • Bill G

And I forgot to mention that I loved the reference to an iconic Original Star Trek moment.

Nothing about this “Corona Crisis” has made one smidgen of sense. I am reminded of: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1nnyrQ6h4Y

The (D) exploitation of a most convenient “pandemic” in an election year is as predictable as it is treasonous. It’s the PDT Administration’s reaction that is the mystery here. But perhaps that inner donut hole is becoming visible: https://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2020/04/07/cnn-misreports-what-i-said-about-china-weaponizing-the-virus/

If they’ve known since late 2019 that this leaked from a ChiCom bioweapons lab, many pieces suddenly start falling into place…

      • Henry

I’m pretty sure I understood the donut hole speech (even though I had to VPN in from Latvia to view it). It’s what we in the computer industry used to refer to as “fixing a leak in a bucket by putting a smaller bucket underneath it… that also leaks.”

Sometimes when the character said “donut hole,” he meant a hole in a donut, and other times he meant the little balls sold as “donut holes.” Strangely, his delivery seemed to clarify which one he meant every time.

      • Oldarmourer

I was a little apprehensive about that movie going in but I’m glad I went.
I didn’t think Craig could pull that kind of character off and the trailer didn’t do it justice at all but he nailed it…impressively, and the rest of the cast was great too. It looked like they were having fun with their parts and when that comes through it really makes a picture work.
Highly recommend it for anyone who likes being entertained instead of ‘socially indoctrinated’ the way the new hollywood is so fond of doing.

    • John

I think a lot of people have missed one particular aspect of the CCP virus.
It is well documented that the Chinese were lying about their economic numbers prior to this, some claiming they might actually be on their way to an economic depression.
If Beijing knew this to be the case then would it not be in their interest to release the virus, not only to distract the populace from their economic woes, but to kill off their own most unproductive portion of the populace?
Too many people can’t wrap their minds around the fact that in a Communist system people, human beings, are State property, to be disposed of at will.

      • MasterDiver

It’s called a “Water Monopoly Empire”, although “Water” can placeholder for any critical commodities controlled by the State.
The state controls the availability of water, thus food, electricity, etc can be controlled by a central authority, and loyalty rewarded and disloyalty punished by the providing or withholding them. The ruling bureaucracy can become weak and corrupt, but almost never toppled from within. But they are easily destroyed from without. Larry Niven provides a very good example in his novel, “A World Out of Time”

I just wonder how long it will be before DJT is blamed by the media for milk being dumped , fruits and vegetables not being picked, or left to rot on the beach in Florida and the meat packing plants being shut down, then the animals slaughtered and left to rot.

    • Halley

They’re doing that now. It’s their TDS talking.

    • Oldarmourer

That’s the ‘progressive’ way…make welfare and government handouts much more lucrative than actually working and you end up with a huge layer of completely unskilled ‘workers’ that never work a day but end up with more and better toys than those who do.

Then import more ‘workers’, legally or illegally it doesn’t matter, to ‘do the jobs people won’t do’ , then demand they be given more and bigger handouts than the original citizens and make those who do develop skills and work hard pay for it all, while being called every name in the book, and watch your country implode into a third world $h*thole…which is the idea, those are much easier for the ‘rulers’ to line their own pockets in.

It appears by now that COVID-19 is an engineered virus. IMHO it got out one way or another, got loose and started to infect people around Wuhan. Having a Stage 4 lab in town is also suspicious. People got infected, the CCP realized what happened, but told no one, and by benign neglect they let the planes fly unimpeded out of Wuhan. We saw the birth of this plague in Seattle. President Trump stopped the flights to the US out of China, but the cat was already out of the bag, due to the decision by the CCP to communicate nothing about it.

I think that the CCP decided that this accidental or negligent discharge of the virus was an opportunity to heavily damage the US economy and to set the stage for Trump’s defeat in the upcoming election. This would shove the US aside, and would bring to the table a malleable new president subservient to the CCP, which would further their aims of domination.

By the dems’ Trump Derangement Syndrome, or their ties to China, they see another angle to tie up the President and beat him over the coals with this COVID-19 situation, to be used as a scandal.

Many nations are pi$$ed off at the CCP, but the one that really matters is the US. We can go to war with them with their lying and their exports by drying them up. And when they reach a financial or trade crisis, let the Chinese people deal with them.

Our war at this time is with the traitorous dems, with people like Schumer and Pelosi. They are the number one enemy of this country. One way or another, the President and the Country are going to have to get inside Schumer’s and Pelosi’s OODA loop, isolate, ridicule, and show the country the traitors for what they are. In other words, destroy them.

    • MAJ Arkay

Alaska Paul, there is no such thing as “benign neglect” when dealing with a totalitarian government like China’s.

    • Henry

Whether or not they thought it was a good idea to take down the US economy, it’s clear that coming clean early would result in China and no one else bearing the brunt of the consequences, and that would put them at a competitive disadvantage. Better follow the time-tested communist ethic, and share the misery equally.
