We always could identify the monsters in the past. They were hideous to behold.
These days they move around in plain sight behind a facade of money and surgical beauty.

That’s actually been the point of some fairy tales and myths – the monsters can look very normal, indeed.

Because the real monsters tended to be beautiful. Consider Gaius Germanicus Caesar, better known as Caligula. He was called the most beautiful boy in Rome.

Or Nero. His voice may not have been up to performing on stage, but he was acknowledged to be almost too gorgeous to be a man.

Then the Borgias, Cesare and Lucretia, not to mention Alexander, the Borgia Pope. They were the Kardashians of their day; everybody “knew” they were murderous, borderline psychopaths determined to have power and control at any cost, but they were just so damned pretty they had what amounted to fan clubs all over Europe.

In France, the Marquise de Brinvilliers was considered one of the most beautiful women who ever lived. She was also a full-on psychopath who poisoned over forty people, notably her lovers (which included her husband, son, and brother). She was one of the very few noblewomen ever executed in France’s pre-Revolutionary history, and it was the Sun King himself, Louis XIV, who signed her death-warrant. (Granted, mainly because some of her followers ended up as Royal mistresses; Louis may simply have been hedging his bets.)

Mary Godwin (Shelley) made Frankenstein’s creation horrid because it was the result of Man’s primitive attempt to play God. Bram Stoker made Dracula horrific to reflect what was in his soul. (Nosferatu by F.W. Murnau was the only really accurate film adaptation of Stoker’s book until the remake with Klaus Kinski.)

I suspect the authors really did it it because making their monsters as pretty as the real thing would have been sailing too close to the wind for comfort in oh-so-sophisticated Europe.

As Stefan Molyneux says the Hollyweird lot are ugly inside so they hate & defile anything that isn’t as wretched as themselves… all the while claiming to have moral authority because they pretend to be virtuous for a camera…

But just think, Halloween could have been really bad this year with a certain witch in the White House. We have that to be thankful for.

“Just the monsters”? Only in certain details. As a whole, not so much.

Correction: A rapist and “life rapist” enabler; and his enabler, documented domestic abuser, and “life rapist”, AKA, paternity fraudster- Rodham “objectified” Bill Clinton as her political “success object”, married him, later engaged in an affair, and became pregnant by family friend Webb Hubbell behind Bill’s back. Chelsea isn’t Bill Clinton’s daughter- she’s Web Hubbell’s daughter. Bill of course accepted this situtation because the shadow matriarchy and its enablers would have ended his political career were he to have divorced Rodham for cause. But then again their’s is a political marriage.

cannot see any male wanting to have even an affair with that total turn-off, but maybe i’m picky…

For some reason a few of the monsters in our midst are suddenly having their stories deemed newsworthy.
I’m sure it’s purely coincidental that the DMC needs something to switch to now that the Russian connections to the Clinton Crime Cartel are again surfacing.

From what I have seen so far since I’m not really following this is it has nothing to do with the women. Please correct me if I’m wrong. I has all to do with the brother’s efforts to take control over the company. The women are just the excuse. If these so called brave women who made it to the cover of that magazine would have come out years ago when it first started, dozens of women would have been spared. I don’t believe a single women pressed a criminal complaint. That’s also my irritation over the democrat women who let clinton get away with it.

Oh, you saw that, too? It’s as though it’s something new when it has been going on for decades.

Let’s really look at the so-called arts. Jackson Pollack, who drank between bouts of painting, drives his car into a tree with two female passengers, and that’s the end of his career. Pablo Picasso only painted women he could persuade to lay for him. Artemisia Gentileschi (see her very angry painting of “Judith”) was raped by her studio teacher for having the unmitigated gall to be a studio artist in the Renaissance. Yeah, that would teach her, right? Henry Miller’s brilliant and frequently purely vulgar volumes were so offensive to the pseudo-Puritanical literati that he couldn’t get published in the USA until the 1960s. Baryshnikov fathered a child, now a grown woman, on Jessica Lange after he defected to the US from the Bolshoi.

It’s been pure baloney from the day the fig leaf dropped, and we all know it, but the level of hypocrisy in it is more offensive than the reality of it.

These women lining up to whine about Weinstein are looking for cash and not much else. There’s something about the ‘in charge’ position that disconnects the “right/wrong” switches not only in the perps, but also in those who say “yes, please” to them to get what they want.

So what is the difference between them and the temple prostitutes of the ancient world? There is none. Zip. Zero. Nada. Rien.

I’m blaming both sides of that coin.

I wonder if Javier used “Brian” from Seth Mac Farlane’s ‘Family Guy’ as a template for Beta’s programming curiosity, actions and responses.

And if Beta will be pondering “Whose leg do I have to hump to get a Martini around here?” at the upcoming Halloween soiree?

Oh. and Sam is entirely all wrong to play Hillary. In fact, no Democrat woman has Sam’s beauty, poise and affinity for mechanics and firearms!

    Just saying.

Sam dressing as the Hildabeast would make a very effective costume. Nobody would be surprised if she dressed up as Sarah Connor from Terminator or Ripley from Alien. I was going to say nobody would notice, but both of them tended to wear only a thin t-shirt, and you’d better believe EVERYONE would notice Sam dressed like that.

Oh boy. I called this ten days ago when the whole egg cracked regarding the Russian/Hillary/DNC collusion:

I wrote an article stating flatly that Mueller would absolutely bring charges against some Republicans (however minor or flimsy) within this month in order to allow the MSM and the libs to deflect attention from the mass of crooks in the WH/FBI/DOJ/IRS being nailed by the horrible crap that was discovered and got out into the open.

Going to double down: Mueller The Elephant will strain mightily and bring forth an indicted mouse TODAY.

We’ll see. Mueller has today and tomorrow to make MY schedule.

    “Boy, has culture changed.”

Yes, that’s what culture does. Quite literally, that’s what culture *is*…a process of growth more so than a manifestation of it. Often used interchangeably with superiority and refinement, it is more likely (contemporarily as well as historically as eon’s Roman examples attest) to be malignant, consumptive and deadly, as with cancer. Even used in the former sense, its effect on society is more the latter…as with one of Webster’s first examples that is so descriptive of elites (my emphasis):

“enlightenment and excellence of taste acquired by intellectual and aesthetic training; acquaintance with and taste in fine arts, humanities, and broad aspects of science AS DISTINGUISHED FROM VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL SKILLS”

Or as I might define them “parasites”. And as Zed rightly calls them “monsters”.

I think what Sam really meant was that *society* has changed…and it very much has in our lifetimes alone; what we embrace or allow or accept these days is the growth (or decaying) culture that just like the cancer metaphor, will ultimately lead to the death of that society, unless it is arrested and surgically removed.

Let’s start with “arrested”, as in cuffs for the likes of the current reigning queen of the monsters, HRC. And keep going until all the deadly tumors are excised. Remission and recovery is possible. The process is difficult and painful, but the cancer is aggressive and time is of the essence.

I was going to go as Trump in his suit jacket, khackis, white shirt and tie with a MAGA hat on. I know it would have terrified the Proggies and SJWs horribly and thoroughly.
I would have had to leave the plate armor in the bullet resistant carrier I was going to wear under the jacket. Someone may have tried to be a comrade to their New Modernism Allinsky Franklin School type cause. I might need it for real. In my kid days I would have recruited my protection squad and made a fun night of it with female ‘Secret Service’ keeping me safe.
I was a one man marcher in a parade two years ago where I carried a sign that stated:
    “All of the Conspiracy
    Theories are True.
    Now I need a New Job ”

It resulted in great crowd interaction. So many people took photos. Some they came out and stood next to me holding the sign and someone else take the photo of them. Simple costumes and shticks can be tremendous fun.

I cane be those proggies worst monster. The truth.

Those disgusting monsters I learned to recognize and drive them away when I was a small child. I still fight those monsters when we happen to cross paths. The stinks that I have caused with the rich and evil monsters. 🙂 Good memories of battles.
