And Sam has some mighty fine lips. Hmmm. Wonder why she is reapplying lipstick?

    Did it rub off somewhere?

I have been so livid the past day or two. With Pres Trump (squeeeee) signing orders to start the south wall (as is already law to do so), the media (ptu! ptu!) is full of fauxnews stories of panicking foreigners, illegal and legal.
The new mayor, Biskupski (Dem), of Salt Lake City, has said that all aliens need not fear. She says she will not cooperate with the Feds/INS/etc. But she says that Fed funds will still be coming, because “technically we are not a sanctuary city.”

    • January 27, 2017 at 10:45 pm

Yeah, yeah, I know: I’m answering myself. No, this has to do with the Chinese zodiac and the current year, the Year of the Rooster. You’re going to love this analysis.

      Per the http://www.chinahighlights.com/travelguide/chinese-zodiac/rooster:

β€œRoosters expect others to listen to them while they speak, and can become agitated if they don’t. Vain and boastful, Roosters like to brag about themselves and their accomplishments.”

Does that sound like someone we’ve been seeing a lot in the news lately… and maybe someone who just became unemployed?

Obama sets the bar as War criminal and destroyer of nations, destroyer of Christians, Muslims and non Muslims, war crimes, and as Extender of Islam.
As a negative destruction bar, Obama sets a high bar, indeed. Obama said of himself that ‘he kills really well,’
Perspective of what actually has occurred adds to understanding.

As a builder of Western Civilization, the united States of America, and good culture, Obama sets the lowest bar of any person who has occupied the white house, bar none, or of any before the White House, including those under The Articles of Confederation. Serial killers and mass murderers have done less damage than Obama.
(Isn’t it fabulous that we can still say this sort of stuff. Hillary would have had all of us shut down and tagged and bagged by now, most likely.)

Spider Robinson once said of politicians that once they convince themselves that everything they want to do is β€œfor the greater good”, they can cheat at solitaire with a clear conscience.

By the same token, Utopians have an irritating habit of creating dystopias (or if you prefer cacotopias), while claiming that they in fact nothing of the sort. Just “mileposts” on the road to A Perfect World.

But after a while, you have to wonder if they really believe it themselves. And if so, what would their Utopia really look like?

My guess is there would be no one in it but themselves, their slaves, some thugs to keep the slaves in line, and some other slaves for the thugs to murdering inventive ways every night to keep their Masters amused.

Sort of like a typical “blue enclave” today.

Maybe like Dr. Pangloss in Voltaire’s Candide, they really believe that this is “the best of all possible worlds”.

As long as they get to run it their way- and kill anybody they get the urge to.

        GWB

The problem is most of the elite wouldn’t see much wrong that couldn’t be cured with more socialism – because they would still be behind the palace walls. You’d have to strip them of their platinum cards, take away their bodyguards, and dump them on a street corner somewhere – next to a bread line, preferably.

When my wife went through Command and General Staff school she was told that it was likely that the last holdouts for Communism would be found in South America.
You can see that vividly in Venezuela with the massive support of the government by the people most harmed by it. So long as the U.S. can be framed by “fake facts” the idiots will continue to shoot each other.

    • January 28, 2017 at 1:55 am

None of them really need to be sanctuary cities. They still all fit as lip service to the law. Democrat rule pays lip service while crushing all they dislike. They also bring about the tearing down so many of those ilk demand. They just never get a Utopia rising up from their wreckage. The wreck. They don’t build anything but wrecking ability. Clinton sounded to the right side of Trump on illegals during one of his State of the Union Addresses. Lip Service. As CNN says, Trump seems obsessive in his doing what he said that he would do. CNN pays lip service as they expect ALL politicians to do. they follow different agendas. With trump, what you see is what you get. So many cannot handle that. They can’t handle the truth. They can only handle lip service and hypocrisy and lies and distraction and such as that. truth is irrelevant to that ilk.
And yes. it is a great ‘toon.

I know there are enough laws on the books that should be followed since they are practical laws. Then there are the laws that make a person’s head spin because they are so fricking stupid, and should never have been even considered, let alone passed.

Any Sanctuary City, County etc once the Federal or State funding is pulled cannot, will not and shall not divert funds or assess new taxes, levies, bonds, propositions or fees etc to cover or fund any replacement monies for illegals. Said diverting from the original intent will be cause for sanctions and possible arrest on Embezzlement charges.

Sanctuary cities? Nah! The poor things want to go to Canada, except… well, Canada doesn’t want them. http://louderwithcrowder.com/leftists-moving-canada-deadbeats/ No useful skills amongst them.

Strange as it seems, the winds of change are blowing through the world. In the Eurozone, people are so fed up that the elections next fall may do away with the old ‘welcome migrants’ theme and go in exactly the opposite direction. Ditto, Canada.

Hmmm… does it mean….? Is it possible that…? Wait – was the nightmare really just a bad dream? Mom!!!!

I think its time for Sec D to visit the DDQ and have a drink dedicated to him. To wit:

    Splash of Liberal Tears
    Two drops Rattle Snake Venom
    Top with Napalm
    Set alight

Drink while flaming, tastes like Victory, smells like burnt nose hair.

The Big D has issued an EO for the the Military to draft plans to annihilate isis in the next 30 days.
