He wasn’t wearing a shirt in the previous strip.
I dare say it was a towel or undershirt tucked in his waistline there.

Better to know shit and not tell it than to not know shit and tell it anyway…the latter being rife within the media, aka making shit up.

Somebody’s idea about it being easier to know who Skye’s babydaddy isn’t than who it is would apply to all this celebrity assault shit…they’re pretty much all guilty on the giving and taking sides with the difference being the accusers are getting attention, sympathy, a moment in the sun, and maybe some dough while the accusees are pretty much seeing their careers such as they are disappear.

But I’m still waiting for the first one to hit the headlines where the female is harassing/assaulting/raping a dude…you know they’re out there, wonder why we haven’t heard of one yet, hmmm?

Think of Carrie Fisher’s character in the movie “Soap Dish”. She was the casting director and the first time we saw her was when Elisabeth Shue burst in on her finishing up a hot dude. She was tucking in her blouse and pulling down her dress. Hollywood writes what it knows.

Why? Because the late Wade’s taste is not in his feet.

this idea that one can have anything like justice when the accusations are decades old and lack real evidence is ridiculous…the federal statute of limitations for kidnapping is 10 years…this assumption of guilt after decades is anti-american

They’re not looking for justice. This is schoolyard bullying–or Alinsky tactics–find a target, isolate it, and gang up on it. The act that they were bullied on the casting couch decades ago is just an excuse.

If Zed made any mention of himself and fatherhood in the same sentence (even in the form of a denial) it would be (as mentioned in the strip) taken as evidence of his guilt.,, Zed is handling the interrogation perfectly.

having once been on the receiving side of that shit, I can attest that ANY accusation of wrongdoing of a sexual nature is an automatic assumption of guilt be everyone, police, judiciary, society, etc. etc. And the assumption does not necessarily reverse if innocence is proven.

“Fury said to a mouse, That he met in the house,
‘Let us both go to law: I will prosecute you.—
Come, I’ll take no denial; We must have a trial:
For really this morning I’ve nothing to do.’

Said the mouse to the cur, ‘Such a trial, dear sir,
With no jury or judge, would be wasting our breath.’

    ‘I’ll be judge, I’ll be jury,’ Said cunning old Fury;
‘I’ll try the whole cause, and condemn you to death.’ ”

-“A Mouse’s Tale” from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.

It also accurately describes what passes for “jurisprudence” on a college campus today when a male is accused of rape by a female. Or when a white student is accused of anything by anybody. Doubly so if the accusee is male, Christian, or both.

The Weinstein affair and its fallout is basically taking this procedure, borne of the left’s endless pursuit of “social justice”, to the next level. This “pursuit” would be more accurately defined as “Revenge for the fact that real history doesn’t make them feel good about themselves”.

In many ways, the situation resembles that of the various “clubs” in Regency England, such as the Hellfire Club, the Bold Bucks, and other groups of upper-class rakes that came together to indulge their baser reflexes at everyone else’s expense. The difference is that our modern equivalent of the Regency is the glitterati of Hollywood, New York, and DC, and the rakes in question tend to be on the political left.

Back then, accusers were rare, simply because the act of doing so could end in being hanged. Today, the “Bold Bucks” end careers instead of lives.

On campus, white male students are very “soft targets”, with no defenders or even legal recourse. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that people out for “historical revenge” should attack them.

The Weinstein affair and its evolving permutations with other such “rakehells” are a case of the biter bit. One of the dangers of Star Chamber methods is that sooner or later, somebody else may be sitting in Lord Chief Justice Jeffreys’ chair.

The POWER of an accusation — no matter how many decades ago it supposedly happened — is already a tremendously effective tool in the hands of liberals.

Here is either “coincidence” or flat-out proof:

The Republican who was favored to run in the Alabama Senate race (Roy Moore) suddenly had a spear shot right through him when he was accused… wait for it…

…of improper sexual conduct with a 14-year old girl in 1979.

    THIRTY-EIGHT FARGIN YEARS AGO, PILGRIMS.

Just “happened” to pop up one month before the election.

    There, Pilgrims, is power.

The great people of Alabama are seeing right through this horse p-tuey. The dems and swamp rino’s are desperate to derail the grass root populism that is trying to take back the country from the puppet masters. In the greater scheme the Moore play is the bedrock foundation to what will be seen as the ultimate Kryptonite to the conservative movement.

Get a lead as a conservative and expect to be accused of some perverted sexual BS. If this had any truth to it the Rino’s would have used it in the primary when he was running for public office 30 years ago.

Note how fast the Mc’s jumped on the band wagon to burn Moore at the stake. If this BS is allowed to propagate the “people” may decide that it is time for the fourth box. This election will be the latest attempt to reign us in by gelding the President and the movement he represents.

Don’t be surprised to hear that the Moore accuser’s financial problems have suddenly diminished. As they say, in all things political follow the money.

One does wonder indeed why these “allegations” are coming out now. Seems McRhino would surely have wanted them in the primaries to ensure their guy won.

Maybe they’re true, maybe they aren’t…but they seem darn suspicious….wonder if the Russians are involved?

I may be reading this all wrong, but these strips seem to have Sam suggesting Zed knows the paternity. It is also almost insulting and can damage a marriage. Zed is blowing it off here. But I would choose to go on an extended hunting trip numerous states away with no cell phone service after that exchange.

Skye’s pregnancy announcement was about the same time (2012 campaign?) as the Obama ads in defense of Obamcare that talked about the cradle to grave benefits to a hypothetical woman who at one point “decides to have a baby” with no mention of a father.

I always took from that that Hugo and Eva’s father was liberal-Skye’s one true love.

I hate the Republican Party now, they might as well be Democrats. Not one dime more to them and I am going to actively subvert the Rino’s whenever I can. I realize that the Donald has to walk a fine line on this as the trumpeting of the NJ and VA gov races as failures of Trumpism has allowed this crap to be rolled out. If the Repubs had one of those wins then this BS does not happen. Please support the good Judge now that the Republican financing arm has pulled the plug on him. Though I have to say that this is a world class dirty trick, just didn’t expect it from our own side. Just like the Russian dossier was started by that F*ck McStain.

The NJ and VA races were no surprise to anyone who follows politics. NJ has been Democrat forever, Christie was an aberration, their mini-Trump moment, but he was fighting a Democrat congress the whole time. VA has been drifting to the left for at least 12 years, with a new Dem gov replacing the old Dem gov

The danger in these elections this week is not in any turnaround of voters’ choices. As you said, these states were pretty Democrat.

No. The danger in these elections is that the GOPe will see them as a mandate on Trump and work even harder against him.

        They ARE that stupid.
