California has 12 percent of the nation’s population. But, one-third of the nation’s homeless and those under the poverty line. Plus, it has the second worse credit rating in the nation. Illinois has the worst.

    • Stephanie Osborn

Ooo, I wonder what’s in Illinois?
      Peoria, maybe?

      • Stephanie Osborn

Drat. My “end sarc” symbols didn’t “take.”

    • Nancy

And about a third of the nation’s welfare recipients.

      • Nancy

        In California, I mean.

  • WayneM

Reparations are a great idea… but since anyone who was a slave is now dead… and anyone who was a slave owner likewise… who pays whom?

    • Toxic Deplorable B Woodman

“You never picked cotton, and I never owned slaves.”

      • NotYetInACamp

I have been damaged and stolen from by blacks hating whitey. (How the Hell did Irish and Hungarians become whitey? It was a plot.)
I attach or garnish any reparation they may have.
I am alive and damaged. The victims are dead and gone, some of their descendants have transgressed. I, and people similarly situated, are in line for any reparations before they get paid.

I like those old photos of white families with their white privilege picking cotton

    • John M.

Will reparations include descendants of Irish and Scottish
“indentured workers” that usually had a worse of it than Black slaves?

  • Toxic Deplorable B Woodman

The only hit I’ll give you, any of you, is at high velocity, downrange. Pistol or rifle, makes no difference to me. I need the range practice on a moving target.

  • Too Tall

    Magnificent cartoon Chris.

Sadly it grossly underestimates the stupidity and criminality of the Dims.

Not your fault, no amount of fiction can capture their evil reality.

Toxic Deplorable B Woodman correctly identifies the only hit that will cure their addiction to power.

‘Absurd’ delay in Paradise: Endangered frog species blocking Camp Fire cleanup

People were living there, wildfire passed through as has happened for many thousands of years, but this time it will harm endangered species to clean the mess up so humans can move back in.

Enviro-mentals are ultimately self-exterminating. Thankfully everyone will be dead in 11 1/2 years anyway. Maybe that’ll convince the Kalifornian’s to stop breeding now.

  • Pamela

Strange that people who may or may not be descended from slaves are willing to do nothing to stop others as of today from being held as slaves on this planet. Only worried about the past, not concerned about today or making sure it does not happen to future generations.

Slavers never change. Not when there is a profit to be made in peddling flesh.

    • NotYetInACamp

      Slavery is Sharia compliant.

    Today’s Exercise:

Go to lefty-leaning web site. Post in comments “Thank You, Momma!”

See how long it takes for the complaints of hurtfulness/insensitivity because “Some people never had mothers!”

Then you will have confirmation that at least some of these identically-outraged young proggies really were grown in vats.

      • Delilah T.

What? They are komodo dragons? That would explain a lot!

        • interventor

          Giant amoebas.

    • NotYetInACamp

      Are you anti tank?

      • Henry

        No, just armor-piercing.

        • NotYetInACamp

(Snicker!) I actually was referencing Space: Above and Beyond. The tanks there. Vat grown. Maker is a Poindexter in a white lab coat with test tubes, petrie dishes, eye droppers, and tanks.
          Armor-piercing is real good.

  • Mike-SMO

Of Course, payment will be from the original sellers by the Akan/Asante, Ewe/Fon/Dahomet, and/or the Congo (If any are still alive), in local currency , only to those who establish local residency. Sounds like a great deal!! They might even pay double damages for false representation of product suitability.

  • Halley

I agree with Candace Owens, that whoever is or has been a slave owner in the USA should pay reparations to whoever is or has been a slave.

  • Browncoat

“… on our mission to make people better.”

    A world without sin?

    Where have I heard that?

    • GWB

I’ve read it in lots of books. Only one of them was supposed to be an instruction manual (by some dude named “Mao”). All the rest – 1984, Brave New World, Fahrenheit 451, etc. – were warnings.

      • eon

Go back to Plato’s Republic. He was the first to openly state that the purpose of the State was to improve humanity. one dead body at a time.

        • Henry

And Margaret Sanger wasn’t the last.

    • DCE

I also have to wonder whether they mean to “burn their way to a new paradise.”

    • JSStryker

      Great Firefly/Serenity quote!

  • Cliff

I had no trouble discerning this cartoon. It’s all laid out there. Terrific portraits of the villains. Bravo Chris.

  • Delilah T.

My ancestors were forced to come here by the English government to colonize the New World. I should send Parliament a bill for reparations, shouldn’t I?

Can somebody please sew Booker’s mouth shut?

    • interventor

My Scottish ancestors left, on their own, because of the English. Should I send a thank you note?

      • cb

My Scottish root was a POW of the Brits… sold here at public auction.

        • NotYetInACamp

But. But. But they got due process!

    • eon

People who dream of exterminating anyone who isn’t like them don’t want their intended victims to be able to object.

      It’s just that simple.

      clear ether

  • GWB

OK, I’ll admit I don’t know these people by sight well enough (well, that next to last panel, I get those folks; and Tank in the last frame). Who’s the dude in blackface?

    • Wood

Looks like former Tallahassee mayor Andrew Gollum. (That’s a fantastic autocorrect brought to you by iPhone, I decided to leave it). It lacks the wide crazy wall eye of Booker.

    • Norm

The cartoon ex-governor of Newark NJ. He claimed he improved the city, yet by any measure it got worse. Maybe he means that he improved his own bank account. Now, he’s a bad cartoon of a senator. A perfect match for our indited other senator.

    • GWB

      LOL – which is it?

    • JTC

By the context we know it is Cory.

By the blather it could be either.

By the looks…well you know what they say.

  • Jerseygirl Angie

Full reparations ( minus the cost of the Civil War , which freed the slaves ) , should include loss of citizenship, and a one way ticket to the African nation of choice .

After all , we’re trying to restore things to what they were like before slavery , right ?

    • Toxic Deplorable B Woodman

Don’t forget to add in the costs of all the varieties of welfare and affirmative action

    • Advo

For sure, any reparation should include a valuation of United States citizenship, deducted from whatever gets assigned. And since the Confederacy was the slave holding government, the payout should be in CSA currency.

      • JTC

No slaves were ever held by the CSA government. And no “payout” was or will ever be made by any current, former, or future sovereign breakaway American government, except in the blood of Patriots who fight against the bondage and enslavement of its real citizens.

Let the current slaveholders of the left pay, not with our money, but with their lives.

      • interventor

Careful, that has increased in value.

  • kadaka

To recognize the sadness of certain mothers today, at the recent shooting at the STEM School Highlands Ranch in Colorado, the “adult” hated “Christians who hate gays”, Trump, and supported Occupy Democrats. The 16-yr old “child” is “transitioning” female to male, and their father is a twice-deported illegal convicted of domestic assault.

So progressives did the shooting, with one being a multi-intersectional bonus of protected classes, thus the media will now ignore the suffering of the mothers involved and wait for it to be forgotten, or at least the motives. But we won’t.

  • JTC

So the last-ditch suggestion made was mandatory national firearms registration/confiscation, and that is what seems to gotten their attention and elicited the agreement of the DNC chair to give it one last shot as it were.

But there will be many shots involved in that effort. So be it.

    • NotYetInACamp

      A shot too far
      A bridge too far

Yet their enemy armies move across the border in great numbers every day.
One of those DNC guys has parents (two and cis – that anti whatever) who were Mexican citizens who sere subject to the jurisdiction of Mexico when he was born in the USA as a result of progressive uniparty open borders. That DNC is a Mexican citizen, not a US citizen no matter what paperwork some progressive effort gave him.

When they take their shot too far the return shot of applying the law equally across the board will get rid of many bad people along with some good. Trump and Jared seem to not want to reach that complete and total logical legal solution. Though Trump understands it, and has publicly stated the meaning of the 14th Amendment that would result in that, given a constitution supporting Supreme Court.
There are several bridges in all of these various efforts.
This is a difficult swamp. It has burrowed in.
All of those people are examples of various parts of the swamp. There is a much larger swamp that also must be dealt with.

  • John M.

Want to REALLY light some fireworks? Post “Thank you, Mammy” instead…

  • “…one party blue cities are all bankrupt, crime-ridden, corrupt, shit-strewn, drug- filled failures..”

Correction; one party blue cities are all bankrupt, crime-ridden, corrupt, shit-strewn, drug- filled successes. They do this over and over, they see the results, and they call for more. Success or failure is determined by intent. They want these results, so when they get them they’re succeeding.

Let’s stop ascribing good intentions where clearly there are none. The left sees humanity as a cancer on an otherwise pristine Earth. They’ve said it over and over and over again. When will we believe they’re serious about that? How much more evidence evidence will it take to make us understand?

In referring to the successes of the left as failures, we’re letting them off the hook for their evil intent. Can we not stop pretending they have good intentions? Are we as addicted to that denial, to lying to ourselves about their intentions, as they are addicted to coercive power?

What does our denial gain us? Who are we trying to fool besides ourselves, and is not our fooling of ourselves a signal to the left, to the forces of evil, that they have us where they want us?

    • NotYetInACamp

The good of the people is of no importance to the left.

They would kill us all to win. Ask Bill Ayers how many millions he expected they would kill when what they are trying now, as then, if it succeeds this time, pray God no.
To them, the good of the people is not important.

  • NotYetInACamp

Amazing Polly goes into a deep dive down the rabbit hole on one effort by the CIA to break America. They seem to have been applying what they had tested in various areas to the nation and world. I did not know all of this, only some. I am glad that I threw my intellectual and psychological evaluation when I was a wee tadpole of a lad. The white coats would not answer the small child what the purpose of all of it was.
Thank God I never got a free ride to Harvard. He looks like Iceman from Top Gun in an early photo. I used to read Foreign Affairs as a small child, The Club of Rome publications, foreign policy publications, Literary publications, and more.
Amazing Polly comes up with an amazing story.
Donnavan is even in the story as well as the Frankfurt School and more.
Breitbart speaks on The Frankfurt School at 15:00.
Names are named in this piece.
All of those in the above art fit in, in various places.
Morale Operations Branch. MOB warfare. The horror.
    27:23 long

    • NotYetInACamp

So no one thinks that I am Anti-Frankfurt, I must show another import from Frankfurt from around the same time that has helped the galley life of urban dwellers and mobile tiny house ramblers in their small kitchens.

There are “dream kitchens,” and then there’s the Frankfurt Kitchen, designed by architect Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky in 1926.

They did ask how to make people’s lives better, and then did so. One female architect in particular. Some good Frankfurters, all in all.

      • JTC

Dear God don’t let my wife see that white suburban kitchen…

        • NotYetInACamp

Laughing. Oh the unintended consequences. …. So funny.

Recall Stalin’s comment to Pres. Truman at Potsdam, 1945: “We don’t change the orders, we change the guards.”

Just so– since Rats’ Big Talk costs ’em nothing, their ruinously bad faith, ill-willed, false pretense collectivist/Statist divide-and-rule, something-for-nothing, us-against-them mantra –traceable to Sulla’s 1st Century BC Rome, Cleon of Athens during the Peloponnesian War– is mere mindless drivel, bizarrely ignorant and schtoopid on its face.

If you want to save California, Illinois, New York and other such hag-ridden venues from progressive (sic) self-destruction on all fronts, don’t bother excreting Ratski talking-points– hose down their Rats’ nests with incendiaries, ream out their cesspools, start teaching halfway decent, well-meaning victims who these reptilian guttersnipes are, and how to act accordingly.

  • Doggo

Great cartoon, Chris. The dems can’t help themselves. It’s what they DO. Even with Mexican boy there talking truth to power (as if that ever really happens) they keep applying More’s Law (if some anarchy is good, more’s better).
