The SECOND American Revolution has arrived – on the day that King Biden sends the police and military to grab the guns.

    • June 15, 2022 at 12:07 pm

Depends on how you count them.

By my count, Anglophone North America ex Canada is on its fifth legal regime. The First Republic was the Congressional regime, which illegally abolished the British colonial governments. The Second Republic was the Constitutional regime, which illegally abolished the Articles of Confederation. The Third Republic was the Unionist regime, which illegally abolished the principle of federalism. The Fourth Republic is the New Deal regime, which illegally abolished the principle of limited government.
Of course, all these coups are confirmed by the principle of adverse possession. Otherwise we would find ourselves looking for the rightful heirs of Metacom, or Edward the Confessor, or whoever. Nor is there any automatic reason to treat any of these five regimes as better or worse than any of the others. If, like me, you’re tired of the Fourth Republic and would like to see it abolished, all we know about its successor is that it will be the Fifth Republic. It has no need to resemble the Third, the Second or the First.
      — Mencius Moldbug, 2007

Your count may differ, of course, but a proposal to identify “USA” before Civil War and “USA” after Obama vacated Oral Office as the same without any discontinuities simply cannot be taken seriously.

Herd that California will not let you adopt a animal if you are a second amendment supporter. Didn’t catch the whole thing just the tail of it on FOX news.

    • June 15, 2022 at 1:31 am

Make that Heard not Herd in above.

    • June 15, 2022 at 10:40 am

      Read it at:

I grew up not far from Thousand Oaks California. Statistically, it has always been listed as one of the safest communities in America, as per FBI Crime Reports.

What the statistics don’t mention is that this community has lots of cops and military Veteran residing there. I’m willing to safely bet that lots of folks living in this Ventura County suburb also own firearms out of concern for the crime wave in neighboring Los Angeles County spilling over across the County Line into their community.

One No-Kill shelter says they would rather keep a dog in a cage for years than let a Gun Owner give it a good home. Sick but what can you expect from a Regressive who wants to be controlled.

Those folks have built their own cages. And looking out from their bars, congratulate themselves on their ‘freedom.’

      • June 15, 2022 at 6:34 am

Actually, they believe that they can make society a cage in which they can lock up everyone else.

And then they, the enlightened, will rule without let or hindrance.

It generally ends the way the French Revolution did. And it is never pretty.

A little blue-haired old lady at a rescue outfie told me I couldn’t have a cat since I mentioned my other one loved going out on the boat. I reminded her that cats have been on boats since boats were invented. I got the cat.

If the left manages to push us to the Fourth Box, we all lose; there are too many outside forces waiting for us to weaken ourselves that way. But that may be what Soros and his ilk want.

    • June 15, 2022 at 7:04 am

I think we may well win-bigly.

    • June 15, 2022 at 11:25 am

      @eon, “…it is never pretty,”

True that, it will be horribly ugly. But then, it already is.

I would hope to avoid the spilling of blood, but I am willing to spill it or to have it spilled if need be to prevent the outcome they desire so much that they are willing -anxious it seems- to destroy everything that makes life worth living…I won’t allow it.

And the outcome this time, call it Revolution3, will be different than R2 and much more like R1.

“How soon the labor of men would make a paradise of the whole earth, were it not for misgovernment, and a diversion of all his energies from their proper object — the happiness of man — to the selfish interest of kings, nobles, and priests.” –Thomas Jefferson to Ellen W. Coolidge, 1825. ME 18:341

“When we come to the moral principles on which the government is to be administered, we come to what is proper for all conditions of society… Liberty, truth, probity, honor, are declared to be the four cardinal principles of society. I believe… that morality, compassion, generosity, are innate elements of the human constitution; that there exists a right independent of force.” –Thomas Jefferson to Pierre Samuel Dupont de Nemours, 1816. Reading up on Marcuse as of late, as he is the patron saint of many stupid movements in these United States. First, destroy the family. Attack and abolish religion. Blur gender roles so that sex is a tool of gratification, not reproduction, for our species in a stable family environment. Use coercion where necessary. A main focus is a hatred of family and the stability it provides society. Chao as a goal. A complete destruction of the status quo for no other reason than to do so all in the name of utopia, one that will never be attained yet the destruction, (read struggle) is the game. The few will remain on top to watch it all fall to pieces and then shrug their shoulders, “Eh, what? They didn’t listen to us well enough to do our bidding. This is all their fault.” Maybe enough of us patriots can turn this bad tide away. If not the ballot box in November, then the cartridge box when required. Dave Chappelle had a funny, yet serious take on2A and 1A. Truth.

Keep getting declined on 2022 fundraiser no matter which card I use.

    • June 15, 2022 at 10:33 am
      Chris Muir

Due to cancel culture, a card may be declined not by my processor,
but by your bank. 95% of the time, if you contact your bank or retry the puchase they will clear it.

Sorry for the trouble, but bank fraud, + ‘canceling’ is a thing these days.

    • June 15, 2022 at 11:21 am

I had the same problem yesterday, got a fraud alert from my bank. Advised them all was well. Today I tried again without issue.

    • June 15, 2022 at 11:29 am

Bob, my card was declined also. I got a text asking if a purchase for that amount was attempted. I answered “Y” and I tried again and it was approved.

Funny thing- I bought a bag of chips from the vending machine at a Rest Stop on I-85 for less than $2.00. Tried my card later that day and when it was rejected I checked my email. Sure enough I had to call and verify to the fraud dept. that my card wasn’t stolen.

Thanks for all you do Chris! I really think that things will get worse before they get better, and just in case I have my case of ammo.

Thank you all who keep plugging in the cards; just the way it is with credit cards today, I guess.

I’m still here, thanks to y’all.

    A Political Litany

    by Philip Freneau – 1752-1832

Libera Nos, Domine.—Deliver us, O Lord, not only from British dependence, but also

From a junto that labour with absolute power,
Whose schemes disappointed have made them look sowr,
From the lords of the council, who fight against freedom,
Who still follow on where the devil shall lead ’em.

From the group at St. James’s, who slight our Petitions,
And fools that are waiting for further submissions—
From a nation whose manners are rough and abrupt,
From scoundrels and rascals whom gold can corrupt.

From pirates sent out by command of the king
To murder and plunder, but never to swing.
From Wallace and Greaves, and Vipers and Roses*,
Whom, if heaven pleases, we’ll give bloody noses.

From the valiant Dunmore, with his crew of banditti,
Who plunder Virginians at Williamsburg city,
From hot-headed Montague, mighty to swear,
The little fat man with his pretty white hair.

From bishops in Britain, who butchers are grown,
From slaves that would die for a smile from the throne,
From assemblies that vote against Congress proceedings,
(Who now see the fruit of their stupid misleadings.)

From Tryon the mighty, who flies from our city,
And swelled with importance disdains the committee:
(But since he is pleas’d to proclaim us his foes,
What the devil care we where the devil he goes.)

From the soundrel, lord North, who would bind us in chains,
From a dunce of a king who was born without brains,
The utmost extent of whose sense is to see
That reigning and making of buttons agree.

From an island that bullies, and hectors, and swears,
We send up to heaven our wishes and prayers
That we, disunited, may freemen be still,
And Britain go on—to be damned if she will.

*Captains and ships in the British navy, then employed on the American coast. —Freneau’s note.

Beautiful. It’s all been said and done before, hasn’t it? A few small edits and the words and intentions ring true still…

“From a white castle that bullies, and hectors, and swears,
We send up to heaven our wishes and prayers
That we, disunited, may freemen be still,
And the reign go on to be damned, and it will.”

This arc makes me feel like a new-comer to America. All four of my grandparents immigrated here from Norway/Germany/Spain/England in pre-and during the Civil War (Minn/Iowa). Makes me a second-gen American, I guess. Still feels good. But I bleed red, white, and blue. When, not if, the CRA becomes reality and I still survive, I will be there.

OT but critical to the cause…

As I discussed with on the phone Chris the other day, if they want to take all the guns they sure have made it hard on themselves…

Heeding everyone’s comments I went to my email and Discover had sent a notice. I okayed it and per instructions re-submitted. It cleared the second time.
