Day By Day

  • “Recon” indeed. *AHEM*

  • JTC

    “Ground pounder”

Why does that make a Whopper come to mind? 🙂

    • TomZ.

      Anatoly was the pounder.
      In general, a ground pounding.

      • interventor

She ain’t talking infantry, I suspect.

        • MasterDiver

Might have been an Infant-try! ;-D

          Zar Belk!

          • Roland Deschain

I see what you did there. Nicely done.

      • JTC

        “Anatoly was the pounder.”

And the Whopper, was the inference/implication. 😉

  • Toxic Deplorable B Woodman

Ground-pounder!? Hey, hey, hey! Watch how you talk about the Infantry! I had to support their commo.

    • interventor

      Combat engineer!

  • Toxic Deplorable B Woodman

Recon? Was Naomi doing the low crawl? No wonder her dress is falling off.

    • Toxic Deplorable B Woodman

(further comment) Was she doing recon on her front? Or her back?
      I think I’ll stop now.

      • TomZ.

This is the -1 version of the ‘toon, look at the original.

  • NotYetInACamp

    And from a Flyboy, no less. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
    The Russian …..
There must have been a whole lot of Russian collussion going on.

    • TomZ.

Your ‘handle’ makes me think of a very long story I used to follow online.

      • NotYetInACamp

No clue. I don’t know the story. Whoever wins someone will want me to be in a camp.

I just praised the decision of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg. That decision shows that sometimes we all do get along. Civil Forfeiture has been very egregious activity in our nation.

    • interventor

  • WayneM

Nice to see the young folks getting along well, so to speak…

  • Too Tall

Ground pounder..that’s why they call it straight leg infantry.

    • NotYetInACamp

That’s their area of operation. They were operating there.

  • kadaka

So long ago in Iraq during cold nights, Zed and Naomi used to pound sand.

  • Mike S

Being I was a FO I have a respect for recon and ground-pounders…

  • Punta Gorda

Sam knows, check out the grin. The voice of experience.!

  • Pete231

Confucius say : “Man who lay woman on ground get piece on earth”…..

  • Bill G

Looks to have been well grounded.

  • Paul

well wasnt it a “frontal assault”?

    • PaulS

I dunno, could have been in the rear with the gear… 😉

  • Grunt GI

Well.. the best thing about the DBD women is they wear a minimum of clothing.

Makes it easier to conduct close order drill.

  • JTC

OT but topical, referring back to NYIAC’s late comment and my followup in reference to the correct (and unanimous!) SCOTUS ruling on unreasonable search and seizure, with opinion authored by RBG…

“Is there poetry in justice? There is, and sometimes irony too.

In her writing for the court and its unanimous ruling written by Ginsburg, McDonald v. Chicago is appropriately cited multiple times to reinforce provisions and precedents.

That right there might just bite that bitch in her gnarly wrinkled old ass sometime soon. Even the smartest of socialists sometimes miss the potential of the rule of unintended consequences and end up strengthening that which they abhor in the course of arguing for that which they embrace. Heh.”

    And now we have this:

Even the blueest of states (including Cali!) by vote count actually are mostly inhabited by real and reasonable people as these sheriff’s illustrate. All is not lost, unless the obstructionist hatred of everything America by leftists is allowed to run amok.

May God and Deplorables continue their holy alliance and prevail over evil.

    • John

A classic example of Tyranny of the Majority.
The city dwellers, who cannot be civil to each other or to the rest of the state for that matter, demand gun control. This is the reason why laws must be crafted and enforced to fit local conditions, or at least as local as can be practiced.
DJT won his election precisely because the Founders recognized this reality and instituted it through the Electoral College.
The greatest threat to civilization is Group Think and the massive abuse it enables.

    • NotYetInACamp

Now if only we had actual real conservatives running, instead of the typical blackmailed pseudo-conservatives put forth in sheep’s clothing to appear to the American people that they are like the American people. That is until a very important vote reaches them.

An unconstitutional law is null and void and is unenforceable. It sure makes for interesting times.

And another excessive fnes application that I can think of is the enforcement of code enforcement fines in the massive amounts they engage in in many jurisdictions. An example is one plant (alleged weed) over the height of a milk bottle (12 inches) can bring about fines and the dispatch of a jurisdiction hired contractor to abate the public nuisance of the 14 inch alleged weed. Code enforcement just became a massive target, because they made so made people targets to excessive disproportionate fines and harassment and unusual punishment that did not fit the action the property owner had allegedly done. Remember that guy living in Palm Beach who had an oversize flag and flagpole. and the non-identical hedge that was planted where a previous hedge had to be torn down? I thibk that they guy was familiar to many of us.

Go sheriffs. You are doing your job by opposing unconstitutional laws.

      • JTC

In light of the “unconstititutional taking” ruling and the sheriff bit, any viability to a chat with Judd over the weed issue (no y’all not that kind of weed)? Not a big fan of the overblown cornpone, but he def. is conservatively and constitutionally guided. Worth a shot?

  • merlie e.

Damn… I was in RECON, and none of my teammates looked like that…..

  • Pamela

Naomi got green gowned *giggle snort*
