The Marine Corps is part of the Department of the Navy. It’s the Men’s Department.

What does the Navy have in its aviation inventory that the Marine Corps does not?

EA-18G, E-2C & E-2D, P-8A, P-3C, EP-3E, E-6B, C-2A, differences in training aircraft, UAVs, etc. … But lets not be picky, if you are the admiral aboard a carrier operating anywhere in the Western Pacific you are probably happy to have as many aviation assets as you can operate from your ship(s) and/or have deployed from any in-range friendly base, especially if you are ordered to do something that might cause the PRC to send its aviation assets out to play!

No training for our Devil Dog and Sea Bee (good thing they’re not going on the toughest nickname), they come to the ring straight out of camp. No holds barred as it were.

Just remember that it’s only Marine One when it’s actually transporting the President; otherwise it reverts back to its original callsign, one of the 300 or so helicopters that are used for presidential transport. Similarly, the two 747s tricked out to carry the President are ‘SAM 28000’ and ‘SAM 29000’ when not being used by the President. So it would only be Marine One on the outboard leg of its flight; after the cargo dump, it becomes just another Marine aircraft.

Give ’em time to think about their malfeasance on the way down! (and also assure terminal velocity at time of impact)

        One hundred feet should do.
Ok, ok, go up to 200-250 feet.

Thousands of “revolutionaries” were flown to France from Algeria in the 1960s uprising. Very few arrived in Paris. This from the commanding general at the time in his later years.

That pretty much describes every nation-state south of the Rio Grande. And most of them are either “socialist” or openly Communist.

If not for the businessmen they openly despise, like Don Portago, their economies would have self-destructed decades ago. Venezuela being the case in point.

Not to mansplain, Sam, but they call it Marine One for a reason. Marine? Two jarheads standing at the hatch? Two at the controls? Marine One. Marine.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but the helicopter is attached to HMX-1, which means Marine Helicopter Squadron One.

Navy and Marines have retired all of their Phrogs (CH-46) (smaller Vertol twin rotor helicopter) in favor of the MV-22 and CMV-22. (MV-22 violates the naming standards. Should be CV or UV, with the Air Force Special Operations aircraft being the MV-22 /pedant).

There are videos of the now deceased former President of South Africa Nelson Mandala on stage at rallies singing along to the Kill the Boer song and ding slight dancing. His wife Winnie also felt the same way. Winnie Mandala use the flaming necklace to torture and kill he enemies. That is a person encased in the center of rires, gasoline being added. Then setting them afire and sometimes rolling them down the street, hill or wherever.

One documentary showed where several people who raided the farm raped and killed the farmers and then boiled at least one 10 year old farmer Afrikaner boy to death i a bathtub.
Pleasant chaps. I thin these might have been some of the blacks, some Bantu, who entered from areas other than South Africa to double the area’s population after the world forced the to give up.
The worst of discrimination now faces any white South Africans who couldn’t or did not get out.

I have had family across the services. Navy, Army, Air Force, Marines (A CB Lt Col in Vietnam). And an ancestor who taught and showed Wilbur and Orville how to make an air cooled engine light enough to get that plane in the air.
It takes lots of individuals doing something to get things done. We are not alone.
How many have died because of the invasion supporting border poicies and actions.
