Reminds me of that old joke about California, asking; “Why is California like a granola bar”? Answer: “Because after you export all the raisins all that’s left are the nuts and the flakes!”
One day soon when the earthquake hits and Ca!ifornia drops into the Pacific, young democrats will not mourn the loss of millions of lives but the cost of avocado toast.
Green and yellow — John Deere. Ah, memories. The summer after high school graduation (1971), I worked for a John Deere dealership. My job was assembly and dealer prep on new equipment. The combines were the latest and greatest, fully enclosed cabs with an AM radio. Things have changed a bit since. (Yeah, I know this video is six years old. still….).
I’m looking at all of this and seeing how prescient H.Beam Piper was.
Our present mess is a nasty cross between Space Viking (1964) and “Day of the Moron” (1949). (You can find both for free at Project Gutenberg.)
As Otto Harkaman said;
The barbarians are rising; they have a leader, and they’re uniting. Every society rests on a barbarian base. The people who don’t understand civilization, and wouldn’t like it if they did. The hitchhikers. The people who create nothing, and who don’t appreciate what others have created for them, and who think civilization is something that just exists and that all they need to do is enjoy what they can understand of it—luxuries, a high living standard, and easy work for high pay. Responsibilities? Phooey! What do they have a government for?
When they can’t have all the power and “respect” they think they’re entitled to, they want to burn it all down. And probably make S’Mores over the ashes.
And anybody we define as “normal” they define as “enemy”.
Historically, the circular arguments of “progressivism” have killed more people than all the plagues throughout history.

Standing up for what America was originally created to be is never easy duty, but it is a Duty, none the less.
