No email notification today… Perhaps our Technical Overlords decided we plebs “needed” to be “protected” from any negative reference to The ONE, even veiled references…

The good times of Obama… the rising of Panti-Fa, of Black Lives Matter, of Intersectional Progressive Ideology… the constant undermining of the viability of the economy, the credibility of the institutes of government, even the underpinning of western society itself such as the rule of law & the presumption of innocence…

    Good 404 times…

Don’t forget the World Apology Tour!

This a miracle! Better late than…

The appearance of today’s strip, albeit later than usual is a testament to the power of Day By Day Cartoon.

Hoping that Chris and y’all caught in the deluge are safe.

  • Gus Bailey

    Chris,
Why is Travis using “y’all” in the singular? Is he from Mississippi?

    • JTC

Looks like today it’s normal Southernspeak, applying to Jo and Skye. But definitely was used in the singular in the “mankiller” line yesterday, I was going to mention it but just figured maybe they’re a different kind of Southern there in the Lone Star State.

Otherwise yeah, maybe Mississippi. Or Hollywood.

      • MAJ Arkay

Nope. Here in Texas, “y’all” is plural in all seven Texas dialects. “All y’all” is adding emphasis to the plural, and causes all us Grammar Police to have conniptions.

        • JTC

Only seven? Can’t even count the Floriduh variations. 🙂

But “all y’all” is good and proper redneck, for emphasis, but better understood in a meatspace context with inflection…

“ALL y’all can just kiss my ass!”

    • John M.

Ever think Travis might be a displaced Northerner trying to fit in? Only thing is, if he IS a “Damyankee,” how’d he learn to make a rack-o-ribs so well?

    • Stephanie Osborn

It’s not singular. “Why is Sam workin’ you an’ Skye to…” where “y’all” references “you and Skye”…ditto for “Y’all see that page?”

      • JTC

        OTOH, as referenced above,

“…y’all look like a mankiller, Jo.”

No mistaking the singular emphasis there Miss Stephanie.

  • JTC

Glad you’re back up and runnin’ CM…

As to the “error” message, I think a Four BY Four would be more appropriate…upside the head of anybody who believes this country was made better by Four Plus Four years of the most divisive administration in my memory.

    • Steve

Actually, IMO Teh Won improved your country greatly by rubbing everyone’s nose in just how bad life would be if the Progs finally win. As somebody once observed, the prospect of hanging concentrates the mind wonderfully.

  • PaulS

You mean the ObamaNation, aka “ShitHoleBama”?

    • JTC

      Obamanation aka “abomination”, yes.

      • Punta Gorda

    “Good Times” No Reruns Please.

  • Kafiroon

Only a “404”? He was trying for a “Blue Screen of Death”.

  • Henry

404 error? Mine said, “You have reached the end of the Internet.”

  • Pat Umaporn

Travis may have provided Skynet alternative paths.

404, the memory hole is real.

Security notice, on a recent Firefox add-ons update I was given a recommendation for Facebook Container from Mozilla.

“Facebook Container isolates your Facebook activity from the rest of your web activity in order to prevent Facebook from tracking you outside of the Facebook website via third party cookies.”

    When triggered it says:
    “We’ve protected you from Facebook.

“The Facebook buttons that appear on shopping, news, and other sites contain trackers that tell Facebook where you’ve been on the web. Even if you never use these buttons to like or share, the trackers can still collect data about your browsing. Facebook Container blocks these trackers.”

You can also add Multi-Account Containers to keep different activity separate like personal, business, banking etc with each having different logins, cookies, and history etc.

And speaking of weakening memories: WHAT? Joe Biden says he’s going after magazines that can hold multiple bullets

    • Pamela

How about don’t do FB in the first place…
Or does it still track a person even if they aren’t on it?

      • kadaka

“The Facebook buttons that appear on shopping, news, and other sites contain trackers that tell Facebook where you’ve been on the web. Even if you never use these buttons to like or share, the trackers can still collect data about your browsing.”

Those wanting to track and control your own damn business are everywhere: Aussie Vegan Sues Neighbors Over Smell of Backyard Barbecue

  • The whole “Y’all” thing above? Individual, or plural, it’s just one of those things that count for any of y’all.

    • JTC

      “…any of y’all.”

      Correct vernacular cmb, good job!

You’ll make a good redneck when you migrate on over to the big T. 🙂
