It’s never too late to move the locks to the outside.

    • interventor

Lock from the outside, Deploy NG outside the fence. Call in Army Engineers to weld the gates shut. Problem solved.

      • Robert McCloskey

Call in the pipeline welders President Mister Mental Backspace put out of work…they have their own portable equipment, I’m sure the would be happy to help.

        • Merle

          and so would I….

      • The Nth Doctor

While you’re at it, make sure to cut off their lines of communcation — cut the phone lines and internet connections, deploy a ring of cellphone-jamming devices around the perimiter…

Oh, and send a few “repairmen” in to “fix” the air-conditioning system by draining all of the freon (or whatever they use nowadays) from it. They love the swamp so much, let them live in one when summer comes around. 😀

        • John

No need for the jamming. Just cut off the power and let the cell phones die.
As for heating, they can supply their own hot air.

      • WayneM

If you’re getting the Army Engineers involved, get rid of the fences. Turn the Ring Road into a levee, then fill ‘er up…

The Herculean task of Cleaning the Augean Stables could be a good example for Draining the Swamp… same kind of stuff needs to be flushed out…

Those who can, do. Those who can’t, teach. And those who can’t teach, criticize those who do.

    • Tom Stockton

Or, I’ve heard the last part to be:

“And those who can’t teach, administrate.”

Used to kid my best friend and college roommate about that when he became a principal. Turns out that after a couple of years, he tired of administrating and moved back into the classroom, where he happily stayed until he retired.

      Then he was even happier!

Sounds very similar to Utah. Utah had Democratic Governors and legislators until recently.

According to Biden*, don’t you need to update your title to:

President Elect Toxic Deplorable Racist Neanderthal SAH B Woodman Domestic Violent Extremists?

          • Toxic Deplorable Racist SAH B Woodman

If I added every insult to my “name” thrown at the middle class by the Political Mandarins, it would take up four lines (at least), I would have a damned hard time remembering them all, and it would take more time to type my name then it would take to type my comments. But “Neanderthal”, I think I could work that one in.
            Lets see………..
President Elect Toxic Deplorable Racist SAH B Woodman Domestic Violent Extremist Neanderthal……….wadda ya think?
(and I need to update all three devices I work on – home computer, work computer (sshhhh), kindle)

          • JTC

Absolutely add Neanderthal; considering who and what it came from…and even more so who and what it means and applies to, I embrace it right up there with Deplorable as a badge of honor.

            I. Am. Deplorable Neanderthal.

If he deploys the Engineers they can set up internment camps for “Covid quarantine” purposes, then others for anything else the State of Texas might deem necessary. When word gets out that their ultimate destination is a GP medium tent behind concertina and razor wire in west Texas with NG type rations there might be a slow down in immigration.

Sam is imparting ageless, though now verboten, wisdom to her offspring. The destructive/self-destructive nature of the Leftist psyche is one of the universe’s strangest anti-evolutionary creations, and the most frustrating thing most Republicans still refuse to understand about Democrats: Everything they do comes from a Dark Place – there are NO good intentions. Learn it, girls.

    • John

Evolution works by trial and error. In the case of the Left it lurched into mass insanity territory for the purposes of “self defense”.
The fact that is, our species is not, as a whole, rational and this is the primary reason collectivism fails, and will fail, each and every time. This is something the Collectivists absolutely refuse to recognize because doing so would deny their very reason for being.

Sounds like the punch line of a joke I’ve been hearing recently:

A Texan and an Arab were lost in the desert (don’t ask, it’s a joke). They found a brass lamp in the sand. They each took a turn rubbing the lamp (the lamp – not something else). A genie appeared, and offered them two wishes each. Why only two wishes? Because there were two of them, and that totaled four wishes. Even that was stretching the genie’s powers.
So the Arab said, “I wish for a wall 200 feet high, around all my mother Muslim countries, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Yemen, and all the rest in north Africa and the Middle East. Besides being 200 feet high, I want it to be water tight and unscaleable. For my second wish, I want to go home to Mecca.”
“Your wish is my command, Master” And “POOF” it was done.
The Texan sat down and thought for a while……
He asked the genie, “So this wall is 200 feet high?”
      “Yes Master.”
      “And water tight?”
      “Yes, Master.”
“Ok. For my first wish, I want a case of cold Shiner Bock beer.”
“Master, are you sure? Such a simple thing, it is unworthy of my talents.”
“Yes, genie, that is my first wish. I know it is simple, but I am a simple man, with simple wants.”
      “Yes Master”
And “POOF”, the Texan had his case of cold Shiner Bock beer at his side. The Texan took out his handy-dandy bottle opener (never left home without it, just in case, y’know?), and popping open a cold one, he offered it to the genie. The genie had never been treated so graciously, and accepted the offer, and savored the taste of this brew.
The Texan opened a second beer, took a sip, and sat back, enjoying it.
He then said to the genie, “I’m ready for my second wish”
“Yes, Master, I await your command”.
“That wall you built for my former Arab traveler?”
      “Yes, Master?”
“I want you to fill it up to 150 feet with water.”

A guy can dream, can’t he?

Be careful who you consider to work the fence. The National Guard has been supporting and protecting the coup members within Congress and the rest of the military will soon be nothing but Nancy’s private army when Commissar Austen is done. I think I see the seeds of the North American “Red Guard”, all in “green” before it sprouts.

Why waste time on elections? “THEY” will tell us what we want.

I wonder what was in those cookies.

  • Randy

I don’t think the Swamp Creatures realize what might happen if they push too far (or maybe they do and that is why the fence.) All I keep thinking about is the scene in Kostner’s The Postman when he’s recruiting and he asks the elderly gentleman why he wants to be a Postman (it’s implied the gent is a Nam Vet) and the elderly gent replies “I know stuff.” I think a lot of the silent majority “knows stuff.” Stuff the Swamp rightly fears.

So why aren’t more governors pulling their troops home? The states do not need to support Washington’s fantasy.

  • Couple of things come to mind, I read an artivcle from the ‘Epoch Times’ and a few sentances stood out.

“The United States is technically a federation of free and independent states. It’s time to fully realize that ideal.” – The Natoinl Guard are under thr Governor of a state.

“Under the Constitution, the states are technically superior to the federal government. They’re sovereign under the “equal footing” doctrine and have the legal power to refuse to engage in unconstitutional programs.” – Each State has it’s own Constitution.

And lastly: “The Republic will be saved through the courageous application of the First Amendment (free speech) and the 10th Amendment (state sovereignty).” –
I haven’t heard anything about the 10th Amendment in news or tv….. “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

The Capitol prison project appears to be coming along just fine.

Now … if we could just curtail all communications going out, electrify the fences, put the Congressvermin on Michelle Obama’s school lunch diets, and have the National Guard fire at any Congressvermin trying to escape then it will all be complete …

Well, FF and KK together as Foster’s secretary inspired it, but none of us can hear the title without hearing JJ sing her version in our heads, and of course hers was his favorite too, and she herself was his favorite too for a time. Tore him up pretty bad when she died but of course that’s what made his fame.

Not much compares to that stuff today.

  • You have to seal off the tunnel system, FIRST. Capital Hill is a virtual ant-farm, with tunnels from the Capital bldg. proper going to all the office buildings, a regular rat warren….and I’m not in favor of turning our House into a prison facility – you dont cage up rabid dogs, you put them down…it’s the merciful thing to do. Also the safest…

The only reason that the Dem’s put up the damn fence is because they are afraid of the backlash of the American people for the crap they are passing in the senate and the house. As well they should be. They look more like a third world dictator to me.

When the time comes that a mother imparting her ageless wisdom to her offspring is enforcibly verboten, then that Leftist psyche will get way self-destructive in a hurry.

Those Leftists I think truly do come from *the* Dark and Evil Place but many who call themselves Democrats actually do have good -if misguided- intentions. And if the past four months/four years have taught us anything it is that the same can be said for many who call themselves Republicans.

Sorry, that was in reply to Halley way upthread…

Until such time as the swamp is cleared and cleaned properly, the only incoming data and news they can receive inside or at satellite locations are from sources that have been censored. Like the FIB does at standoffs, set up the speakers and all incoming lines with what they don’t want, the truth, or at least free speech.
