The problem is that Progtard DildoCrats are incapable of perceiving truth, or reality for that matter.

Interestingly enough, there’s some indication the current anti-police riots aren’t quite as spontaneous or organic as the media would like to pretend…

      From all indications, this was in the works as far back as the last presidential election;

      https://thefederalist.com/2017/10/10/lefts-sirens-already-hinting-culture-wars-will-end-another-civil-war/

      Note the date; October 2017.

The Democrats and the rest had no intention of “accepting” the 2016 election from the beginning. If Hillary had won, Antifa and BLM would have been the Tonton Macoute to her “Mama Doc”.

As it is, they intend to replace rule of law with rule of warlords, Somali-style.

If that is so (note:I have no doubt that events would have happened that way) then, for all his faults, Trump has actually been good for the country. At the very least he forestalled some very nasty times.

As it is, they intend to replace rule of law with rule of warlords, Somali-style.

Of that I have no doubt.

The lies that people have had drummed into them matter. But the truth is too destructive to the leftist narrative to have allowed it to be taught in schools.

Black lives matter? Yes, but so do everybody else’s lives as well. I am getting sick and tired about black lives matter. Blacks could really improve there situations if 1. They get an education. 2. Use that education to get a job. 3. Quit whining about how bad it is for themselves. 4. Figure out that they brought it on themselves but they don’t want to hear that.. Nobody that I know of can fix stupid!

Almost every “injustice” the black community claims since WW2 has been a self-inflicted wound.

Compare and contrast the Harlem Renaissance of the interwar period to what that part of NYC looked like in the 1960s and later.

Nobody forced them to discard Louis Armstrong in favor of Superfly.

Nobody held a gun to their heads to compel them to throw away Booker T. Washington and swear fealty to Black Caesar.

When people are determined to live a violent, self-destructive fantasy, there’s very little anyone else can do to dissuade them.

Except wait for them to self-destruct. And hopefully salvage something from the wreck.

LBJ’s “Great Society,” with its attendant jihad against fathers in the home, made the choices so alluring and easy for blacks.

Especially on this Father’s Day we would do well to remember the vast gulf between “my (first, second, not that one, my other) Baby’s Daddy” and “Father.”

I’m convinced that the Left invented “systemic racism” to further their desire to feel superior.
Al Sharpton & Co bombard the black community with this bull to induce perpetual hopelessness and, not coincidentally, stuff their own pockets.
Scott Adams, of Dilbert fame, regards this as nothing less than child abuse, since hopelessness induces underachievement, just as high expectations induce higher achievement in kids.
The “soft bigotry of low expectations” has RL consequences, and the real bigots here are the White Left.

        @eon and TT…

And so those two comments illustrate perfectly the conundrum…

        Nature or Nurture?

Both in this case of course, and I am inclined to give greater weight to the latter. As I said yesterday that can largely be placed at the feet of Baby Boomers.

The truth is that black culture was interesting and ascendant when it was based on blending its history with and becoming a part of America’s. Now it has very much been twisted into a wedge to separate and destroy it. Will that result in internecine war fomented, funded, and planned by the Left?

That is to be decided by blacks themselves if and when they realize they are held more in bondage now than they were when slavery was used as a wedge before to justify attack, destruction, and seizure of the territory and assets of a new sovereign nation, and this time they are employed as the thugs and enforcers of their radically racist owners and controllers.

I think you meant Qatar and not Dubai.

Not that Sheikh Maktoom, “Ruler” of Dubai is a super reliable ally of the US, but the UAE is generally considered friendly and the UAE’s and American interests are in broad alignment.

Qatar, on the other hand is a headache for all around the Gulf, being buddy to Iran. They own Al Jazeera, of example, and are in definite conflict with Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and most Arab states.

Has anyone noticed how much the Seattle Soviet resembles the last chapter of The Last Centurion by John Ringo?

In fact, has anyone noticed how much the last six months have resembled the entire book?

If Hillary had won, the last three and a half years would probably have looked exactly like the book. Except with more deaths, unrelated to any virus, as she indulged her RedJac tendencies.

Years ago in Somali Mpls, Mn. I worked Aid to “Fatherless” Dependent Children. I quit when 1. Daughter came in pregnant, and wanted “everything”.
        I already had case 2. Momma-Pregnant.
        3. Grandma-Pregnant.
        ALL were Momma’s live-in boyfriend.
Talked with a pair of Sheriffs Deputies in a fire stairwell on my way out the door as they asked for him to serve him some court ordered jail time.

        Pam; She was just 16.
As I recall Mom and Grandma were both 16 maybe 18, so yeah, they started (that’s underlined) ! Early for the USA. Africa, where I was, seemed to start before they could get pregnant. Maybe it’s in the genes.

Everybody has asked the question, and they learned to ask it early of the abolitionists, “What shall we do with the negro?” I have had but one answer from the beginning. Do nothing with us! Your doing with us has already played the mischief with us. Do nothing with us! If the apples will not remain on the tree of their own strength, if they are worm-eaten at the core, if they are early ripe and disposed to fall, let them fall! I am not for tying or fastening them on the tree in any way, except by nature’s plan, and if they will not stay there, let them fall. And if the negro cannot stand on his own legs, let him fall also. All I ask is, give him a chance to stand on his own legs! Let him alone! If you see him on his way to school, let him alone, — don’t disturb him! If you see him going to the dinner-table at a hotel, let him go! If you see him going to the ballot-box, let him alone, — don’t disturb him! (Applause.) If you see him going into a work-shop, just let him alone, — your interference is doing him a positive injury.

As to the ascendant black culture I referenced above, one critical component was/is the music…which had me perusing YouTube for the soulful loving beauty of those like the Manhattans and just now Raydio with Ray Parker Jr. doing Jack and Jill…damn. Other than the cabin builders reality shows that my wife loves (especially Johnny Jett!), our directv stays mainly on just one of the 800 or so “entertainment” choices…60’s/70’s music. But those vid clips put a presence into the mix, beautiful songs of the heart…and need I even mention Barry White?

Even through the tumult of my teen years in the 60’s and 70’s and into the 80’s the music was a unifying force. But one can easily see and feel the effects of a different and opposite kind of force behind most black music since, a powerful and pervasive encouragement of thug culture, destruction and division of anything like a blending and cooperative life of freedom and American opportunity to escape the new slavery.

JTC, Those of us old enough to remember, recall an Anacostia in S.E. Washington, DC, that pre-great society, was a vibrant, thriving, prosperous, black, middle class, neighborhood. The Avalon Park and South Shore neighborhoods in Chicago were the same way.

Parts of Anacostia are becoming gentrified, but Avalon Park and South Shore are probably hopeless.

As of 10:02 PM EDT, 11 dead and 63 wounded in Chicago and the Father’s Day weekend is not yet over. The only story to make the local papers was the 3-year old, killed in the crossfire of a shooting.

The city tallied its 301st homicide tonight, which is of passing interest because the recently hired Superintendent of Police Paulie “Eunich” Brownstain (formerly the Houston, TX Chief of Police) told Mayor Groot that he would keep Chiraq under 300 homicides this year.
