UP THERE, in the category of “how to say the right thing.”
    Well done.

Testosterone is a hormone but when a man rage-breaks something of his own or punches a hole in the drywall he has to patch later nobody hands him the “I was feeling a hormonal imbalance” excuse, they nail his ass to the wall….just sayin’.

Hollow core doors are also a likely target.

Right there with ya, Browncoat. A windshield, some drywall…rage issues, not so much “hormonal imbalance”. As I got older, I decided that getting to the bottom of the rage thingy was easier(and better) than spending time in stir for giving a fool a well-deserved thrashing.
The other reminder is one or two oversized knuckles, and arthritis, from popping things somewhat harder than my hands.
    Have a great day, folks.

I remember being Duty NCO and doing a tour of one Barrack Block found a trail of blood leading from a small shattered window in a door to the bathroom…a wire reinforced glass pane…

That was the same tour I found a party in progress, early enough and well within noise limits, but probably related to the window, with half the attendees looking out a window with the screen missing…and one thoroughly surprised private laying on the ground outside after he’d leaned back against the screen..

Luckily it was on the first floor so he wasn’t hurt, just a few scratches from the bushes he’d fallen into, but I still had to include both of the damaged windows in my report the next morning.

For the second one, I couldn’t help myself and included the line “defenestration occured at approximately 2130″…the CWO wasn’t impressed with it and told me “if I have to get a dictionary to translate your reports, you’re going to be Duty NCO until you learn to write so I can read it.”

Later on, I was in the Tech Co-Ordinator position and among other things, responsible for assigning Duty NCO’s from a card file in a small metal box. When he handed it to me, I rifled through the cards, took mine out and threw it into his wastebasket. The only thing he said was “most wait until they’re out of the office before they do that.” 🙂

“The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”

Well-played here, but mostly not true. I keep having the feeling that the next U.S. civil war won’t be progressive v conservative, but when the “Red-Green Alliance” turns into socialist v Islam. That will be a bruhaha for the ages, with the Democrats totally blindsided.

Like when the Left bragged about electing Hamtramck’s Muslim City Council, then got butthurt when it banned pride flags. (Duh.)

And is this episode named after the 1985 Dennis Quaid/Louis Gosssett Jr. movie? (One of my favorites.)
