I have never in my life lived in any neighborhood where they offered cable or delivered pizza. And I can recognize that sort of neighborhood pretty accurately.
The only given is that, as with any manufactured ‘crisis’, a lot of politicians on both sides of the issue are going to make a lot of money and the ones screaming the loudest in either direction are making the least and want to change that.
