Many folks say the Revolution started with the Boston Massacre in 1770 or the “Tea Party” in 1773, but didn’t “go hot” until Lexington and Concord in 1775.

The hate and discontent started boiling up with the Stamp Act in 1765…

On March 5, 1770, after months of tensions due to occupation and taxation, Bostonians and Redcoats clashed in the streets of Boston. It ended with five civilians killed by gunfire, Crispus Attucks, Samuel Gray, James Caldwell, Samuel Maverick and Patrick Carr, leading to the rallying of Bostonians against the Crown and the evacuation of troops in Boston. The next encounter did not occur until 1774.

I hope it does not come to this.

If it does, it won’t be in Boston. Or Lexington or Concord for that matter unless today’s Patriots travel there to engage.

I wonder if the leftist’s passion for eliminating history is to prevent the next generations from realizing those who fought to escape the tyranny of the UK were just normal people… Likewise those who established the Republic and created the Constitution… To be fair, they were exceptional because they rose to the occasion but they weren’t gods.

If the plebs were to learn they had such potential, they might desire liberty.

Apparently when the water gets warm enough the frog does feel discomfort and tries to get out. Unfortunately for froggy, the sides of the pot are too high so he boils anyway. I suspect that, eventually, even the most lump-like of the lumpenproletariat will start to realize something is going on. Unfortunately by that point it will be far, FAR too late.

I know that the forms are supposed to be short lived but are you sure that they really are? I think I recall hearing about a “catch-22” on that which meant that while the documents are supposed to be destroyed but the BATFE requires the forms to be retained in case of audit.

As for “[a] permanent database [being] illegal.” I wasn’t aware that the deepstate paid much attention to such niceties – at least insofar as it might apply to their own activities. As the saying goes:

Then you’ve got the states like Illinois and Massachusetts that require Firearms Owner ID cards. Even if they don’t track which guns you own (doubtful) they still have an idea where they are.

NICS records are short-lived because that’s the law? Ha!

Only weapons not traceable to you are the ones obtained from the NPA (National Private Arsenal) aka private transfers.

Think their push for “universal background checks” to control what they call the internet and gun show loopholes has anything at all to do with restricting access for criminals?

That’s bullshit, thugs get their guns by theft and don’t give a shit about no stinkin’ laws…it is YOUR access they want to restrict by applying their background checks aka registration (of course it is) to private transactions that have forever been exempt from it.

Even many who support gun ownership are fooled by this “common sense” provision…hopefully the above truths will
disabuse some them of that quaint notion.

Defend with everything you have the NPR, it is the last and only truly free right to access to the possession of the tools of defense against criminals and totalitarians (redundant).

Conservative women have babies. Progressive women have abortions.

Do it that way long enough, there will be more conservatives than progressives. The math is not on the side of the “enlightened ones”.

This probably explains why American public schools today are mainly leftist indoctrination factories from kindergarten through college. If they’re not replacing themselves the old-fashioned way, turning everyone else’s kids into the Young Pioneers, Red Guard, or Hitlerjugend will have to do.

In view of the fact that progressive women, even some of the feminist ones, apparently are proud to call themselves “sluts”, this is almost amusing.

@eon: As there is much truth in your words, that truth fully explains why the left so desperately wants open borders. To their way of thinking it is far more effective to ‘import’ voters rather than spend years raising and indoctrinating them, especially when faced with the truth of your words. This massive ‘invasion’ of human detritus is their penultimate hope. It is the logical progression in the saying that ‘if one cannot win elections with the existing voting base, change the make-up of the voting base.’ If that faile, the ultimate course of action for the left is to reduce the number of voters who vote against the left.

And that is when things get nasty.

True, but the progressive Fearless Leader types aren’t joining in the baby boom. And they won’t countenance their new slaves, or their offspring, trying to take over the reins of power, either.

There will be a power vacuum within the left inside of three decades. There just won’t be enough AOCs to go around.

Add in that the imports will, then as now, be more interested in crime, sex, drugs, ultra-violence, and everything else they loved “back home” than politics, and this isn’t likely to work out the way the progressives anticipate.

England, Sweden, France and etc. are good examples of what they’ll get instead, especially if their “imports” include any notable percentage of Islamics. (Which to judge from Minnesota, etc., they definitely do.)

Hungary, Poland, and Switzerland are likely to be the models everyone will resort to in the end. Whether they want to or not.

No that isn’t a road that needs to be traveled. There is a solution. It requires people to be responsible for their actions and choices. Would the women abort the child if it were the only one they would ever conceive.

When any government or church for that matter, undertakes to say to its subjects, “This you may not read, this you must not know,” the end result is tyranny and oppression, no matter how holy the motives. Mighty little force is needed to control a man who has been hoodwinked in this fashion; contrariwise, no amount of force can control a free man, whose mind is free. ANY large demographic that is being used and manipulated will eventually wake up and resist. It may take decades, but it will happen. The black demographic is waking up and it ain’t gonna go back to sleep. The Democrap machine knows this, needs to replace them, and is doing all it can to make Hispanics the replacement. Unfortunately, that’s only the short-term goal of fostering the illegals invasion. Generally speaking, we Americans are not long-range planners, so we don’t tend to look at what long-range goals others have. The puppet-masters yanking the strings on the entire Democrap Party and most of the GOP have nothing but globalism and One-World-Government in mind. Look at the refusal to stop the illegals invasion and pretty much anything the political parties promote that doesn’t seem to make sense in this light and all of a sudden it’s easier to see the sense in it.
