Definitely recommend “Citizen Vigilante”. Not on the level of “Death Wish” or “John Wick” but certainly captures a sentiment in Europe. Should be a warning as to what could happen if they don’t deal with it another way… of course, you know they won’t.
You know what? I’ve been watching some of the europeans reaction to America during the World Cup. They were ecstatic about the niceness of the people and how good the food was. I wonder if a few of them aren’t going to think, “Why can’t things be this good back home?”
I’ve long maintained that Gorbachev didn’t need to facilitate the removal of the Berlin wall. Just a couple of good ol’ boys tossing a few fresh hot cheeseburgers and some blue jeans over the fence is all that was needed. When comrade, munching on a cheeseburger, sees his little babushka in a pair of skin tight Levis for the first time, well, the cold war has ended.
And the Obammys and their ilk would have the world think WE are evil, white, gun-loving deplorable. And anyone of color that loves the country is an Uncle Tom. Advertising. Marketing. Tge whole world knows better now. Thank you futbol!
Someone dd the math and mamdani’s ‘overwhelming mandate’ was the result of 7.6% of new Yorkers voting for him…all those who could have prevented the oncoming Biblical level disaster stayed home…blame them.
The same thing happens up here, half the people bother to vote, a lot of those vote for lunatic parties on the yard long ballot with hundreds of names on it just for a laugh, the rest split the vote between two Conservative parties, letting the liebral sneak up through the middle with less than 30% of the vote and we get stuck with sockboy and the robber baron as gov’t…my only message is vote or be quiet about what you got.
“430 South Cap”…..as i recall from early 60’s, that should be right about where the old Section8 housing/slums were…close to the Navy Yard and Anacostia River. That area was rebuilt into section 8 highrise buildings…a after-dark nogo zone.
