One of the most profound strips to date! Well done, Chris… well done!!

  • Too Tall

Somewhere Thomas Paine and the authors of The Federalist Papers are giving Chris a standing ovation.

“We can have no “50-50″ allegiance in this country. Either a man is an American and nothing else, or he is not an American at all.”
      ~Theodore Roosevelt

Amusing, but this was tried too.
In South America. “We all are basically Spanish guys, amirite? And converted locals, what’s the difference, if a son of a chieftain is baptised, we call him “Don” just like our own nobles. We all learned in Harvard er, University of Salamanca. New Spain, New Granada — mere administrative divisions”. This even kind of worked well, right until it didn’t, but then (in XIX century) a bloodbath happened.

Conversely, back when e.g. some people were still chuckled at as “Dutchmen”, did they have any more serious problems with someone else in N.America, or vice versa?

The space between Skye’s two ears … it’s intergalactic with a near perfect vacuum … nothing there whatsoever.

Meanwhile here in my hometown of Temecula California there was little concern about space/social distancing as patriots rallied in support of DJT, law enforcement and first responders, and the US Constitution.

    MAGA!

For the same reason, whenever I learn that a female has a hyphenated name, I studiously cross the street to avoid any encounters whatsoever with her. In my experience, they were Karens before anybody had heard about Karens.

  • Bill G

Anything that can be put in between us is valuable to the left’s elites. They’re endangered by our getting together.

I’m a second-generation American on both sides of my family: Irish, Polish, Austrian, French/Belgian/German (by way of the Irish shooting tax collectors in every country they were transported to), much of Eastern Europe, courtesy of Roman slavers, and even some Mohawk Indian. But first and Foremost I am an AMERICAN! I proudly defended my country for 40 years, and will continue to do so, even in retirement, from all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC!

It’s a classic strategy … divide and conquer.

  • steveb919

Yes the word American should come first. Ex. American African.

  • Avery Loucks

“Only if you put it (American) first” is way beyond profound; it’s historically profound! BZ

  • PaulS

Personally I think it should not be first, or last, but ONLY! ( or ONELY I suppose)

    AMERICAN! Or “A MERICAN!”

    Race: Human!

So American Humans; Unite or Die!

As Jeb Blue said: “I’m getting seriously pissed!”

  • Progressive-Democrats; it’s no longer a Democratic Party.
The Democratic Party has evolved into the Progressive-Democratic Party. There’s no difference between the current Party and the modern Progressive movement founded by Herb Croly, TRoosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, from Croly’s utter contempt for ordinary Americans as espoused by Clinton (irredeemable, deplorable), Obama (bitter Bible- and gun-clinging, flyover country), Biden (15% of us just aren’t good people and “you ain’t black”); to Big Government economy takeover (Obamacare, CFPB, attempt to seize our entire economy through “Green energy” takeover and MMT’s money grows on trees effort); to Party’s overt racism–Wilson’s resegregation of the Federal government expanded into the segregation of our entire society through Party’s identity politics. Which only expands on the rank bigotry of Party’s affirmative action programs and welfare cages.

The movement to overthrow out government has entered another phase….once they do away with the police, it is up to the citizens to defend…..keep your powder dry, fellow guardians of the republic….

  • Kafiroon

Considering that it is only the Law supported by the Police that prevents anyone from shooting those that are trying to destroy America; maybe without police…
    Never mind.

    • Wood

That’s what I’ve been thinking, maybe this thing will sort itself out. Better bump up funding for curbside pickup.

  • Coeurmaeghan

    I support and encourage BMA(buy more a m m o). Just in case.

The divide and conquer method of control has been employed since at least Caesar, so in looking at Google translator for the Latin root what do you think I found used as an example?

“divide et creata sunt vincant, Obama scientiam discernendi inter gentibus”

“divide and conquer obama-created division between races”

    The accidental truth from Google.

But that was/is just a transitional stage from the division they truly seek:

Communist-American. Far more dangerous than any of the other hyphens.

Even putting America first in that one is chilling…and it is being openly practiced and promoted within our own Congress…how’s that for “The Enemy Within”?

  • JTC

There ya go. Absolutely the right move, though the stated reason is just a part of it.
“A rare reversal…” the mediots say. Not really; this is a President who has the strength of his convictions but no compunctions about fixing a fuckup of his campaign’s making, and several other things where he simply changed his mind after getting further information…that right there is the mark of a great POTUS.

So the second or third most slimy and despicable of teevee opinionators had called out “celebrities” to get more active (from a distance of course) in promoting the race* riots.

Then Dave Chappelle called his pussy ass out, told him to shut the fuck up and watch the truth unfold in front of him, to let a new generation of violent race* warriors do their thing, for better or worse to be transparent about who’s running the operation. Are the rioters self-sustaining or are they just the new crop of hired thugs?

Chappelle is a crazy racist* but he’s upfront about it, and tells the truth even when it castrates (wait, has that semi-black twink got balls?) smarmy little fucks like Don Lemon who will do or say anything that perpetuates his gig as when he goads this shit on for viewing value while actually not giving a flying ass-fuck about what is actually transpiring.

Good job, Dave. I value and appreciate the truth regardless. You may think the new generation has their own agenda and the staying power to bring it about, but I know that without the money and the buses and the food and the spotlight they will wither like Lemon’s atrophied dick. I hope they heed your call for honesty.

*@John D. Egbert, yes the usage in context is valid…while I share your stated love of the language and your understand your desire to preserve it that you expressed here a few days ago, it is actually quite malleable. That is both good and bad, as words and their meanings should and historically do follow their long-time usage, not the other way around. And I quite enjoy creative and even inventive usages regardless of official approval. But that can also mean that in a fucked up world where even the venerable Webster done woke and is now including “systemic culture” among the already slanted definitions of “race” and “racist” based on an email from a rioter…I mean demonstrator.

I think the Lord and his terrible swift sword needs to clean house of the graft, corruption and dross.

    • Punta Gorda

Failing that, karma tends to get quite brutal. Remember “king Herod?” Died from Fourier’s gangrene. Basically he rotted to death.

      • Punta Gorda

        “Fournier”

    • Pamela

Could that be considered safe sex? I would worry about splinters though.

      • interventor

        Add, termites and ants!

    • Punta Gorda

My point being that he probably wouldn’t turn down the offer no matter how crazy she is.

  • Ozymandius

Well done, Chris. I couldn’t have said it better myself.
