Well they tried youth and color and look what that got them. Stands to reason they’d go back to old white folks.

Maybe some day “progressives” will come to know that it’s wrong to judge people by their age, skin color, and gender.

Hey, if a black girl getting arrested and croaking herself is called an epidemic of systemic violence against black people by the attorney general, what does she call the cold-blooded murders of three blacks and shootings of sixteen more?

Saturday night in the boss’s hometown.

    Try changing that channel, progressives.

      Bad Cyborg

How might one go about “committing suicide” while locked in a cell? Hmmm? And for that matter, what was she doing still IN a cell 3 days after being arrested? Her bail WAS a tad high but the bond should have cost around $500. Of course, being a pawnbroker you already knew that, didn’t you?

Oh, and do you really believe the official explanation? Doesn’t pass the smell test for me.

      • July 27, 2015 at 8:46 am

Leaving alone for a moment the disingenuous absurdity that you somehow think suicides don’t happen in jail/prison, the details of the arrest and death are irrelevant to the gist of the commentary that any death of a black person that can be by any stretch blamed on white folks or the popo, and of course your smell test doesn’t disprove the “official explanation” either.

Maybe you’d like to expound on the meaning of the rest of your comment?

      • July 27, 2015 at 9:02 am

Unfortunately, jail and prison suicides are not uncommon. That said, the arresting officer should be dismissed for escalating the stop.

“what the “real news” channels DON’T tell us.”
Of that, I’m sure. That’s why I do my best to NOT watch any of the national Big Three. And even the local news is slanting left.
And I don’t watch for the sake of my sanity, and to not pay for broken TVs. My wife gets quite perturbed at me for yelling at the TV.

    • July 27, 2015 at 12:08 pm

That was the (I thought) obvious point of the comment; while the latter gets lead coverage by MSM, publicity whores, the white house and the AG (redundant), the former is a just a footnote of business as usual.

They all did nothing. Some still in still do nothing. Yep. Worse than, well, some may be, given all of the news, Bohemian Grove ended Sunday, Jimmy Saville and his royalty and elite clientele for the spin off from his children’s shows in the UK. Speaker Haskill, and other blackmailable politicians are moved up the ranks. Truth is stranger than fiction.

Well, Cliff, you may be right, but more and more I am seeing O, Obahh, sorry, I can’t bring myself to say the name – I am seeing the Democrat in Chief proposing one huge giveaway after another to poor, gay, young, LGBT, etc. liberals knowing without any doubt that it will never get through Congress with the express purpose of being able to say later, “I tried to give you THAT! Democrats did all we could to GIVE you that, and more free money, but those despicable Republicans obstructed us at every turn.”

They have turned to buying votes with promises that they know will never have to be paid off because the low-information voters cannot see that it’s all a ruse to make them believe the Libs will give them something for free if they can only just get elected again.

When one of those ‘young idealists’ Hilary was kicked off the Whitewater investigation for ethics violations.
She has not improved her ethics since then.

    • July 27, 2015 at 6:58 am

I think you mean Watergate, back in ’73. Hilary worked for Sam Ervin- briefly.

She got to kick people off the Whitewater investigation, where she was one of those being investigated. Sort of like Benghazi.

At This Point, What Difference Does It Make? should have been the title of her (ghost-written) auto-biography.

The problem won’t be solved by changing their old leaders for younger ones. It will only be changed by discarding their old principles for new ones… well, older ones, really. Conservative ones – ones that are time-tested and true.

Until the progressive stops thinking they can mold humans into some New Man, and thereby usher in their Utopia, with the power of gov’t (education, funding, laws, programs, etc.), they won’t stop being fascist. It’s the nature of the beast.

    • July 27, 2015 at 6:46 am

Thomas More has been dead for centuries. His Utopia was a direct response to a despotic leader. The Progs will never have an utopia for the simple fact their expectations are the same as that person. It does not bode well for anyone at this time.

      • July 27, 2015 at 7:03 am

I’ve always suspected that More was being sarcastic with that title. After all, “Utopia” literally means “no place” in Latin. If he’d meant “good place”, it would have been “Eutopia”, and he knew his High Latin well enough to know the difference.

The solution to the problem is to stop subsidizing the exorbitant universities whose professors take our money and use it to spend all day telling our kids that we’re idiots and giving them degrees in mud pie architecture. There’s a major bubble about to burst.
