‘democracy’ = mob rule, that’s why the US founders specifically avoided it, preferring instead to try and ensure that no localized pockets of high population would be able to override the rest of the country. I wish they’d thought if that up here where two provinces can completely override the other 8 and 3 territories besides. ‘proportional representation’ or ‘ranked voting’ doesn’t work either, just look at Alaska, or almost any European country where a half dozen often radically unhinged fringe parties have to be kept happy to keep a larger party in power with disastrous results for the people at large..or just look up here where the ndp can make outrageous demands that the liebrals will put into place to keep their fingers in the till just a little while longer and have no hesitation to throw billions of the taxpayers dollars down a bottomless hole for no return other than that because it’s not ‘their’ money.
It’s hard to keep your mind on draining a nation wide (Shucky darn, a western world wide) swamp when you’re knee deep in criminal invaders, waist deep in democrats chest deep in woke folk and, neck deep in unipartiers.

I think they are turning into a “Gollum”. I have seen numerous articles where they refer to “their ‘precious’ Democracy”.
