    • And our news media reports how shameful it was for Trump to serve hamburgers to the national college football champions, Clemson University (Go Tigers!) And fails to report on the whole new caravan of invaders now headed at our southern border, as well as the French situation. Manufactured crisis? Somehow, I’m finding it possible to reach new and higher levels of outrage on a daily basis. Gillette like the NFL just consigned themselves to be a footnote in history, if mentioned at all.

Macron’s 2,300 word “Letter to France” was supposedly to invite debate on the direction those elites are taking the country.

Having used Google Translate to get it in English, it basically says that he and the elites are “morally right”, and everybody else should STFU and get out their wallets to pay for it.

As for the violence of Muslims, well, they’re entitled to be in France and entitled to do what ever they want. Because colonialism.

Macron could simply have said “Fuck You, France, I am God and I’ll do what I want”, and saved himself about 2, 288 words. It would have added up to the same thing.

I suspect he’s using The One’s speechwriters now.

Macron speech reflects the mindset of those who go to the superior schools or grandes ecoles (usually, graduates from those are those accepted into upper political circles). Plus, the presidential powers of a French president are almost that of a monarch.

      • NotYetInACamp

Colonialism. Hm? Islam in about 80 year colonized by conquest 3/4 of Classic Western Civilization. Conquered its intellectual center. Conquered its breadbasket. Conquered North Africa and created a layer of sediment in that part of the Mediterranean Sea where farmland washed away into the sea after their sheep ate all of the crops of the inferior infidels. Attacked into Central Europe. Conquered over 90% of Spain. Sacked Rome. Attacked and laid siege to Constantinople. Destroyed Alexandria in Egypt. 10% of the books in the Great Library in Alexandria were saved by the librarians converting to Islam and translating them and saving them from total destruction. Only the Koran is needed as truth the Muslims said. Emptied the Mediterranean Sea of Christian ships and all people fled the coastline to avoid being caught and made slaves. Only walled cities remained on the coastline. No Christian traffic remained on the Mediterranean Sea. Instead of efficient sea transport, the same energy to move a cargo about 70 miles on land is what the effort used to be to travel from Egypt to all of coastal and river Europe.’
The Dark Ages brought on by Islam rolled over various parts of Europe as the Islamic conquests took effect.
Charles Martel, grandfather of King Charlemagne of France defeated the Islamic Armies in a vital victory near Tours France about 714 AD.
Macron is an ally of the enemies of France since the 600’s.
Islam is still Islam. Just ask Islam. PM Erdogan of Turkey says so, as do many ’eminent’ Islamic scholars. Erdogan wants all of the lands of the Ottoman Empire to return to Turkish control. He now has 90,000,000 Muslim Turks in Turkey, and about 15,000,000 Muslim Turks in Europe. They believe that they are in jihad hijrah. Hijrah is the conquest of lands for Islam by emigration.
        It is all following Sharia.

America is like France in policing; our public is conditioned to support the police unconditionally, elites made the police as a standing army against civilians and police will do the elites bidding. At this time along with police and MSM demonizing, there is little public support for local Committee of Safety or 3% ers or even their natural rights..

Interesting that they have no problem doing this to their own citizens. There was NOTHING like this done to rioters when “disaffected youths” (read: Muslims) lit Paris on fire a decade ago.

      • Gregory Drake

Excellent point, “300!” I’ve wondered about that every time those fine upstanding “youtes” of La France (most, if not all of them, being of a certain Arab persuasion) decided to just go out and have some fun burning other peoples’ cars. And basically no opposition.

Reminds me of certain riots and massive destruction of property and businesses in certain American cities such as Baltimore, etc, where the authorities were told to stand down by Democrat mayors and governors. WTH?!!? Sheesh…..

        • GWB

Actually, a huge piece of them are African (as that’s where a lot of France’s colonies were).

Wow. I just posted the link Chris Provided to Baen’s Bar(Politics)with the same question!

Get out of my head! There’s only enough room for my personalities…:)

    • Gregory Drake

      Chris,

Oooooh.… those photos were amazing, and very troubling. Me thinks that the “elites” of La France have forgotten that event in their past known as the French Revolution. I really don’t know the laws of La France as to ownership of weaponry, such as firearms, but that country is truly reaching a breaking point.

As to our president, the Trumpster, feeding those athletes burgers, fries, etc, I personally think that was the greatest thing he could do for them…. well, besides inviting them to the White House in the 1st place!

Keep on keeping on, Chris!! Everyone, STAY SAFE in this new year 2019.

It will be interesting to see if Gillette actually sees any kind of downturn after this momentary furor blows over… and it will… I’m going to vote with my wallet.

I’m glad Proctor & Gamble (Gillette’s owner) are taking heat over these ads. Most ads are more subtle in their denigration of men, especially white men. This ad doesn’t even try… it’s straight-up intersectional feminism. Those who don’t see it are ideologically blinded.

Had the first episode of Roswell on the CW network on tonight for background noise, spoilers below.

General undertone of friendly illegal aliens (human etc) who want to be productive, add in some government/military fearmongering and persecution.

There are three aliens in human form, one woman and two males. The female is married and dominates her husband. The one male, the cop, has a female boss. And the other male alien, as revealed at the end, is gay.

Wow. With aliens that “woke” I could believe their ship that crashed here was escaping after their civilization collapsed “For No Apparent Reason”, or they were driven away by those trying to save it.

    • NotYetInACamp

Escaping sounds right. Everything in their alien civilization (?) was built by the new controlled society affirmative action politically correct and competency untested awarded for showing up new hires Like in South Africa now. Like Capetown’s water utility provides water now. Like Zimbabwe land (It was the land, not the people who cultivated it. – commie dogma) used to feed South Africa. It was their breadbasket. Like the USA used to produce electronic consumer goods, and had the best machinists and skilled labor in the world as a matter of normal employees. Now we gots Beto O’rookies who could probably not change a tire much less tear down and properly rebuild an engine. And now we have the newbies produced by the education system provided by the new world order of idiots, a Mig means nothing under either definitions. Tig probably means that swimsuit model’s possible name to them, if anything.
The goal of slavers and conquerors since Roman times and before has been to destroy the Alpha Males or all of the males of the conquered people and eliminate any chance of revolt.
Sparta regularly waged war on the city state that grew much of its food in order to kill off all of the Alpha Males and leave only the beta and less males to never challenge Sparta.
Destroying the Alpha Males is a main goal of the enemies.

GF just bought me a straight razor. Still learning how to use it with out loosing a nose or an ear. Gave up on high priced AD razors years ago, so alas I can’t vote with my dollar.

    • ExNuke

My straight razor was handed down from my Great-grandfather, the trick is hot water, not too much lather and to take your time and enjoy it. It’s for a lazy Sunday morning shave. Don’t try to sharpen it like a knife, it’s not needed very often. If you can find an old school barber he can show you the proper way to sharpen and strop it. NEVER cut anything with it except whiskers and your great grand son will hand it down to his son.

“Dick’s” may soon change their name to purge the image of their inherent toxic masculinity, but sadly “Mangina’s” tested poorly.

They are looking forward to boosting sales with more “crossover” products, like yoga pants and tops in many colors and patterns that are also thermals good for a day in the woods. Although some women said it’d be awkward to see someone else at Pilates wearing the same camo.

Not one cent to Gillette, although if they come to their supposed senses and offer a sufficiently abject apology I may think about reconsidering.

So it’s a tax revolt. We had and are having one too.

We got Trump to initiate ours. They got Macaroni.

So it’s on them. Free shit ain’t free. Now they know.

If our approach works, any protestors in the streets will be the professionals we see so often when anybody offers them a few bucks, a pre-printed sign, and a bus ride.

Then we can watch the proceedings on teevee and hope that both sides lose, reducing the non-productive waste of assets on both sides of the blue line.

The mistakes of the people of Sparta and France were not that they did not resist but that they gave up their swords beforehand. Here, if we heed the warning of our host in his comment at 12:39 “…if they can disarm” we will be okay, as WE are the standing army here in our homes and WE will resist with overwhelming numbers and force whether the thugs come to our doors dressed in blue or black.

  • JimV

It isn’t a ‘tax revolt’. It is a revolt of everything elite. Taxes are only symptoms which is why concessions on taxes have not stopped the uprising. The people want a lot of things best described as 1 part ‘listen to me’ demands by the citizens and ‘get this government out of my life’. Oh they love their bennies but they loathe the folk that provide it AND, they are tired of government refusing to move on some basic areas. Stopping the invasion comes to mind.

I am reminded of the Revolution of 1848. From Wikipedia Frederick Bastiat “believed that the revolution was carried out by a very large group of desperate people, who were able to organize themselves and arm quickly due to both experience from the countless riots and previous revolutions, but at the same time were almost instantly manipulated by a small group of demagogues who assumed command, which is the reason why the protesters’ demands were largely incompatible with one another; e.g., a drastic reduction of taxes and greater social benefits, with the latter requiring higher taxes hence contradicting the first demand.”

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_Revolution_of_1848

As to the aesthetics of shaving…I’m for it…Glad to see a return to gratuitous nudity. Keep up the good work!

    • JTC

      Follow the money. Always.

Call it taxes or “redistribution” or fairy dust, all of those bennies and everything else, even the muzbro invasion, is based on that. And like I said they have only themselves to blame.

But correct that the throngs are made up of multiple interests; they all have their own agendas and they all are driven by the money. Such will always be so under THEIR chosen system of ignoring the wisdom of RAH regarding lunch tabs for lo these five plus decades.

So why on earth would we emulate that? We have just one agenda; stop the shit spouted by the nascent new radical left that would take us straight to 70% (and ultimately 100%) way before we are reduced to tossing rocks and bottles at jackboots. We are taking steps with Trump under our deplorable direction to preclude that,

But even if that fails, still our first and foremost priority must be to never give up our swords. And disarming us too is ultimately a function of and a path to 100% taxation (slavery).

And Sam? While it’s lovely to once again see that bountiful tush,
can the commie razor and show us that beautiful red bush.

I started shaving in 1966 at age 15. Shaved all the time I was on active duty and grew to hate it. I went on the inactive duty (retired) list in 1987 and have not shaved since. I will trim my beard but not shave it. The last trim, I made a mistake and trimmed the sides too close so that it looked shaved and that I had a Van Dyke. Letting it grow out again.

  • azscram

I can get 100 Israeli-made double edge safety razor blades for $14. Each blade lasts me about a week. If I opt for the Russian blades, they’re even cheaper. A tin of tallow shaving soap made right here in Arizona costs $15 and lasts around 6 months. I have a nice badger brush that creates a thick warm lather when I run it through hot water before working in the soap. For years now, I’ve been getting great shaves for just a few pennies a day.

I find the idea of Sam giving herself a little shave down there quite intoxicating. I have a great appreciation for a trimmed bush, especially when giving it a rather close inspection. Well done, Mr Muir. However, I would like to see visual proof of the deed. 🙂

I have close family ties to France, and French are starting to see the cold realities of the socialist lie. I suspect that eventually they will remember that the day they celebrate as their national holiday, Bastille Day, commemorates the capture of not only a hated symbol of government oppression, but also taking the arms and ammo that were housed there.

What a bunch of crap. If you want to read an article to give you some hope against this SJW nonsense read this.

    http://thefederalist.com/2019/01/15/dont-need-less-traditional-masculinity-need/

History, of course, always has more to say about this….from the article above:

“An interesting observation Alexis de Tocqueville made in the early days of America was that women didn’t mind “submitting” to their husbands because men and women entered into marriage by choice, not arrangement. They had chosen them, and trust was a strong component of their relationship.

“I never observed that the women of America consider conjugal authority as a fortunate usurpation of their rights, nor that they thought themselves degraded by submitting to it,” Tocqueville wrote. “It appeared to me, on the contrary, that they attach a sort of pride to the voluntary surrender of their own will, and make it their boast to bend themselves to the yoke, not to shake it off. Such at least is the feeling expressed by the most virtuous of their sex.””

Not that any of these SJW would have a God-d**n clue who de Tocqueville was..

Anyway, I personally hope to see Zed partake of some of that so-called “toxic masculinity” with Sam for a few more comics…I actually think she might enjoy it.
