Covered in it, and full of it…and academia is full of them, right down to the assistant HS principals in the land of McCain’t:

When I was in fifth grade…many years ago. I had student teacher that just begged to be tested. She was always handing down do or die proclamations. One day I drew a cross, a crescent, a six-pointed star, a circle, a question mark, and a swastika on the blackboard while she drug one more person to the principal. The swastika was as far from the door as you could get and I took bets on which one she would erase first. I won. When she came in she went right for the swastika as I suspected to the amazement of the class. She stewed, I think she suspected, but didn’t say anything. Today I would imagine a FBI takeover of the class, news crews, and threats of life altering punishment.

Oh, she stayed and ended up being the principal years later. She was more concerned with self-esteem than test results.

Dr Gad Saad, an evolutionary biologist and social media phenom, describes the social justice movement as being a virulent pathogen which he calls Ostrich Parasitic Syndrome… If you haven’t seen his YouTube channel & series called “The Saad Truth” then you’re missing out.

The individuality and glory and valor seeking non-conformist radical Marxists all unknowingly almost identically conform to their player part in the world play, ne: heroes of the revolution charging the ramparts to defend the proletariat from all of the evil oppressors with their petards hoisted high. npc

And speaking of enquiring minds and other parts; that statuesque middle one, Sam judging by flowing hair and dialogue…

What exactly, if anything, is she wearing?

Just a short swing off topic. Chris should do more art like the bottom pane. Interesting use of color though bigger would have been better….

Not off-topic at all, the visuals here often equal or exceed the verbals.

Agreed though, and beyond just color the artful use of silhouettes and contrast is a near and dear method to me as back in my yoot I had some templates for a ‘toon called Silhouettes employing a similar if more eclectic character mix and topical scripts.

I offered them to Chris several years ago but his plate is quite full already without a new dedicated edition…and of course as this episode um…”illustrates”, he incorporates the device it beautifully into DBD, certainly exceeding any product of mine. 🙂

Also a bit out of context BUT, how many of you, being ‘old timers’ ie: over 40 years on the planet, know the origin of ‘Wet behind the ears’? Anyone younger would, I don’t doubt, not have a clue.

I’d demand everyone to be drug tested to see if there was something added from a campus mad scientist’s lab. When did going for a higher education turn fairly intelligent people into blathering, stinking idiots!

Don’t be surprised if a SJW physically attacks someone wearing a red hat from behind. The last thing the attacker sees is not MAGA, but NRA.
